No color in the PDF files created with Acrobat Pro XI

Running Office 2013 and Acrobat Pro XI.  Color PowerPoint presentations lose all color when converting to PDF.

Thanks Florian.  I tried to export PowerPoint and Acrobat Pro XI to create.  None worked.

I could solve the problem by removing several applications, that the user didn't need and then reinstall Acrobat Pro XI.

  • How change a PDF file created with Acrobat Pro XI after signatures have been applied (as I can in 7, 8.0

    I have a major problem that I need to resolve before we can buy Acrobat Pro XI:

    Currently, with Acrobat Pro 8.1, after all signatories sign a document, we add an effective Date (we add it after they sign since we do not know when the last signature is acquired and we cannot have an effective Date that is prior to the date of the last signatory, moreover, it would be effective before they signed, which is not possible). I am also authorized the latitude (as described in our Documentation control procedure) to make spelling corrections, hyperlink updates and minor formatting changes (using the typewriter and, also, by replacing a page which is NOT signed so page change shows how to repaginate the document or the amendment of a hyperlink that has changed).

    In all versions previous Acrobat we used (7 Pro, Pro 8 and 8.1 Pro), this was easily possible and any changes would be listed on the Signatures tab, which is exactly what we want, is traceability.

    I now use the trial version of Acrobat Pro XI but get the message "this document is signed and cannot be displayed." If I bring the same PDF created from Word 2003 & 2013 using Acrobat Pro XI in Pro 8.1, however, I CAN add the date, use the typewriter and replace unsigned pages, register and leave without compensation or lose any signature.

    My question is this: How can I do this in Acrobat Pro XI, as Pro XI (in the Signature pane) lists also changes made to the document, when it was edited using Pro 8.1? (It's OK that the changes made to the PDF and then mark signatures as "invalid", as the reason why they were invalidated is also listed in the pane of the Signature, for example "form field added," which is usually the Date of effect applied).

    Thanks for any help!

    Thank you, Zildjian, and isakten. You me headed in the right direction. What I ended up doing was just a form text (for entry into force) field, then the required signature fields. After everyone has signed, I can the Effective Date of entry, then save the document and I don't have to sign myself or apply any type of certification. I just have to remember to put the text before form field I have forward the documents. It's the right answer, at least for my situation.

    Thanks again!

  • I created a PDF editable using Adobe Indesign. When I open the PDF file in Adobe Acrobat Pro ms, is there a way to specify a font style? Or is it possible in InDesign to make sure that when someone types in this text field is a certain font?

    I need to make sure that the entered text is a certain font to keep continuity with the rest of the document. Thank you!

    To make form editing mode, select 'Prepare form' in the right pane. You will then get a toolbar at the top which contains various tools that focus on the form. The first thing to do is to add a temporary button. You will use this to determine the name of the font to use with the script but also to place the script that will change the properties of the font of text fields. Thus, create a button anywhere and double-click on it to bring up the field properties dialog in the Actions tab, add a JavaScript action to the mouse event to the top which is:

    // Mouse Up script for temporary button
    app.alert(event.target.textFont);

    On the appearance tab, select the font you want to use for the text fields. Once you have done this, close the form editing mode and click the button. It displays a popup that lists the name of the font. This may be different from the name that appears in the drop-down list on the appearance tab, so write down it. For example, when I chose "Minion Pro" in the menu dropdown, popup showed "MinionPro-Regular.

    The next step is to replace this script of mouse upwards by the following text:

    // Mouse Up script for temporary button

    // Change the font and font size for all text field in this document
    for (var i = 0; i < numFields; i++) {

        var f = getField(getNthFieldName(i));

        if (f.type === "text") {
            f.textFont = "MinionPro-Regular";
            f.textSize = 9;
        }

    }

    Replace "MinionPro-Regular" by the name of the font that you wrote before, and set the font size to whatever you want. Use 0 to specify a font size of 'Auto '.

    This script will change the font of all the text fields to whatever you specify. When you have verified that text fields are implemented as you want, you can go ahead and delete or hide the button. If you think you'll do a lot of forms of work, you can create customized in Acrobat tools to speed up this process, but this should help you get started. InDesign does not allow you to specify a large number of field and action properties, so you must work this way, and using scripts to automate is an accessible way to significantly speed up the process and avoid mistakes.

  • I want the PDF file opened with the bookmark opens automatically.

    Is there a simple way I can open a PDF file (created by MS Word 2010) with the bookmark automatically open?

    Today, the PDF file is opened without bookmark. And whenever I open the same file PDF again, I must say that I want to have bookmarks to open.

    I have only MS Word 2010 og Adobe Reader XI.

    If you enable the "Restore last view settings when reopening documents" under Edition - Preferences - Documents Bookmarks panel manually, and then open and close the file, the next time that you open, the Panel will be opened by default.

  • How to remove the pdf files created on the server using cfdocument pdf?

    I use < cfdocument format = "pdf"...

    to create a .pdf file dynamically generated and named and it works pretty well. Marine managers can easily send the pdf to ships in the fleets and planning forces in the shipyards. (Planning data changes almost every day). However I noticed that the pdf file remains on the server. Over time, this could become a problem with numbers. is there something I'm missing to remove these PDF files over time. Other that a manual check and delete. This Government server requires 4 connections and your right arm to put self to day, so something is needed.

    Using a task for this problem is something easy (and I think than a common to solve such problems).

    Just to give you an idea (or probably the whole solution, but it is not tested):

    <>
    Directory = "" #variables.strDirPath # ""
    name = "qDir.
    action = "LIST".
    Filter = "*.pdf" / >

  • The research of the embedded index does not work for the PDF file opened with Adobe Reader in a browser

    Due to the way in which we use our Document management system, if we want to search through multiple or large files stored in our DMS PDF we merge PDF together and create an embedded index. This works perfectly well, when you open the PDF file in Adobe Reader standalone. Enter a particular term can bring 100 hits (very quickly) in the Adobe Reader search results pane.

    However, if we launch the PDF with Adobe Reader in Internet Explorer (any version), enter a term to search (contained in document) only get one result, that of the file name of the document itself.

    Unfortunately most of our users will access our DMS documents with internal links.

    Any ideas greatly appreciated.

    It is a problem with Reader 8. You must use that...

    Using Reader 9. It will work well with it.

  • Cannot read the PDF files created by the FTP adapter

    Hello

    I cannot read the pdf files generated by the FTP adapter with its default settings.

    Can someone guide me how to proceed with him. I guess I have to change something in the mechanism of coding in the FTP adapter outbound connection Pool, but do not know what is to be.

    Thank you

    Richa

    Hi all

    I got the solution. I was unable to read .pdf files because the FTP adapter send files just by changing the extension of .xml to .pdf .txt is the reason why it was not readable.

    We had to write a java code to convert the .xml file .pdf and then PAA to the FTP adapter.

    Thank you

  • Problems to open the PDF files created on a PC on a MAC

    Hello

    Im having issues when I PDF a Word from the Microsoft Office 2010 document. When I opened the pdf file after that is very well and when I send email to other users of PC, it is fine. The problem arises when I send the PDF file to a MAC user and they view the file. The text becomes black lines. The lines are also still visible when they print the document.  I'm using acrobat 9 pro. Anyone know how to fix this?

    Thanks for your help

    I was converting a doc MS word to PDF 2010.  I think I found a good solution.  When you save the PDF file, I chose the 'options' and check the box under PDF options for "ISO 19005-1 compliant (PDF/A).  I tried to access this file last updated from my iPad and is no longer the text displayed as black lines.  He did, however, increase the size of the file a little... I think it's due to embedding the fonts?  In any case, it seems to work now :-)

  • How to edit text alignment and size fonts in a pdf file editable with acrobat reader DC?

    I have Adobe Acrobat Reader DC and I'm trying to edit/format text in an editable form.  I need to change the alignment of the text and the font size, but can't seem to find a way to do it.  I tried several other recommendations, including right clicking in an empty space and clicking "Properties"bar, but which is not listed as an option.  What suggestions do you have?  Please and thank you!

    Thank you!  I thought about it.  It is possible.  It's a document that I bought at TeachersPayTeachers.  The creator allowed to edit, but I don't have the original document to change, just the PDF file.  For reference, I clicked on DISPLAY in the main menu.

    Then I clicked on SHOW/HIDE.  Then COMPONENTS toolbar.  Last, I clicked on VIEW the PROPERTIES BAR.  Thank you very much for the help.  I hope this helps others.

  • Why doesn't my IX Acrobat open PDF files created with my Adobe CreatePDF application?

  • Need to change the text in the pdf file created in Illustrator CS6

    I need someone else to be able to change the text in a pdf file I created from Illustrator. They have full acrobat should be able to change it. I tried myself to test before you send it, but it does not work. The original file has been created in Illustrator CS6 and saved in pdf format (text not created contours). I opened the file in acrobat and try it saved as file extended to be able to change the text but not luck. You will be able to highlight the existing text and replace it. I tried to change the text of the tool, but rather only a selection box around each line of text, it puts a selection box around the text. I can highlight the text and delete it, but I am unable to change it. Each individual text line should be editable. Is there something I need to do differently in Illustrator so it can work correctly in Acrobat?

    If she help him file is a calendar and they need be able to change the dates and events that are already there.

    This really isn't an appropriate use of Acrobat. You should all use the same editing tool (i.e. Illustrator).

    Extension of files reduced the amount of editing Acrobat can do, it does not increase it.

    The editing of text in Illustrator tool would be to edit the text Document. There is no guarantee that it will divide nicely in lines, it is trying to help by making the text of paragraph.

    In theory, you can use a form for this (fill in the blank for dates) but really, you should use the same tool. Not necessarily Illustrator, more Excel or specialist software calendar.

  • VISTA - cannot find the pdf files created?

    I run Vista Ultimate 32 bit and Acrobat 7.0 standard
    When I have a document open for example... I click on print and select PDF Writer (normally) I then have the option the name of the file and go to where I want it to go.
    I always choose "desktop" I then click on print... and a popup window then advises:
    "For the safety of your computer, this file was saved in the temporary Internet files folder. Do you want to open this folder? »

    If I select Yes... it opens the folder, but there is no inside pdf file... If I select No.... I find myself with no file in any case.

    Conducting a search of the name file also does not return the location of the files... where the hell VISTA to put the files, and how do I get put them where I select?

    OK... understand, she was purchased for XP...

    I can't afford to buy another complete copy... just for generation occasional .pdf, I'll use one of the free .pdf instead generators.

    Thank you
