There is no such thing as a 2016 MacBook Pro. The last refresh date is in mid 2015.   You may have purchased it in 2016 but its still a 2015 model.

In addition, if it is not your new Mac with free applications, read the following support document:

If you purchased a qualifying Mac which did not include Pages, Numbers and Keynote, you can apply for these applications thanks to the program up-to-date by following the steps below.

  • New iPhone 6 s. iLife/iWork preinstalled keep apps reinstall even if you uninstall the

I bought a new iPhone 6 s today and I noticed that Apple iLife/iWork applications are preinstalled. iTunes U, Numbers, Pages, Keynote, iMovie, and GarageBand. I don't want to keep on my phone because I hardly touch except iMovie and GarageBand, I have on my iPad Air. I have automatic updates turned off in the settings and no matter what you do, whenever you uninstall these apps, it just goes straight to the top of download without your knowledge.

Also another thing, even if these applications are uninstalled, the insignia of the App Store always reports that some applications need to be updated Similarly if there is nothing in the list.

Can someone tell me how to solve this problem? It is so annoying that it keeps using my network resources.

You cannot uninstall the Apple applications that come with iOS. If you don't use them, demand on "your network resources" would be minimal.

  • Restore free iLife and iWork

    Hello

iLife and iWork are preinstalled on my Mac when I bought it. my mac was beginning 2011 version but I bought OS x Lion and iLife and iWork. last month my hard drive crashed and I got yosemite when it crashed. Now I had to replace the hard drive and new OSX has been installed and upgraded to El Capitan, but my iLife and iWork are gone. Now in my app store bought, I do not see iLife, iWork or Lion operating system also buy. How to get back my free iLife and iWork.

    Thank you.

iLife comes with MacBook Pro but iWork was not included. You should have received a disk with your MacBook Pro, which had some iLife applications. If you have iWork, you must have purchased the disc.

  • Crash in com.apple.vImage of iWork, Contacts applications code

For a little over a week now, I'm getting crashes of multiple applications: iWork applications like Contacts on my iMac with OS X 10.11.4. my other Macs are not affected. Accidents happen shortly after the start and have a similar stack trace. I first noticed with Contacts and was reading how to replace my database of contacts from iCloud, but now it is more general, I need to get to the bottom of the case.

I have already started in Safe Mode and not the ERD, who reported no problems.

As I am from empty documents in iWork applications, I don't know what kind of picture conversion may be required. Any ideas or advice on how to fix this?

    Thank you

  • Update of my applications

Hi, I got my iMac for 12 months now but still have a problem of updating some applications.

I can update the o/s without problem but get this error message when you try to update keynote, Numbers, Pages, iMovie, GarageBand, iPhoto.

The message says: "Update not available with this Apple ID."

    Any ideas?

Please test after each of the steps that you have not already tried it. Stop when the problem is resolved. Back up all data before making any changes. Remember, no one here is Apple or can help in problems of service the customer.

    Step 1

If you have recently changed something in your Apple ID account (for example, the password), log out of the App Store and reconnect.

    Step 2

A purchased app can only be updated by logging into the App Store with the same identifier Apple which was originally used to buy it. There is no way around this restriction, which applies also to the free applications. If you can not connect to help ID the buyer, remove the app and reinstall it. You will have to pay for it, once again, as appropriate.

    Step 3

If you receive the alert when you try to update a grouped iLife application, select the shopping page in the App Store and find the application in your purchase history. If there is a button marked ACCEPT on the right, click on it.

If you have a used Mac, bundled apps related to Apple ID of the original owner and may apply to you. Reportedly, customer service has published codes redemption to some owners of second who asked, but it is not guaranteed.

    Step 4

If you try to update the iLife or iWork applications that were installed from a purchased DVD, or if you have a refurbished Mac purchased directly from Apple, contact App Store customer service for a redemption code. If necessary, you will be asked for the part number of the DVD.

    Step 5

In the App Store menu bar, select

    Store ▹ view my account

Enter your Apple ID to the command prompt. In the lower right corner of the window that opens, click the reset button. Close the window.

  • How can I download new version of iwork

I need help downloading the new version of iwork with enforcement pages

Downloading applications is done via the Mac App Store. New versions of iWork applications require Sierra, this is why you must first update your operating system to Sierra if you have not already done so. Upgrade to sierra is also done via the Mac App Store.

Thus, it would be useful to know what version of Mac OS X you are using and what version of Pages that you use.

  • Adoption of iWork Suite

    Hello

    My specs are:

My problem is that I spent 20 years using Windows programs and recently converted to Apple products and software, almost exclusively 100%.

I am a business owner of IT Support, where I assist businesses and individuals in the creation and management of their systems and devices. As part of my business, more on an operational basis, I made my goal to use exclusively, iWork applications in order to have all of my documents and files stored in iCloud and accessible on all of my devices (iPhone 6 Plus, iPad 3, MacBook Air 13 ").

In view of my goal, I understand that most of my corporate clients use programs such as Office365 or OpenOffice. Part 1 of my question, when I opened a doc Word (.docx), is it possible that I can easily copy the content and paste it into Pages? I constantly encounter the issue of "some formatting can be copied in the Pages", and the document that emerges isn't pretty.

Part 2 of my question is, if one assumes that the point above can be solved, is there a process where I can create and share/collaborate with others who can not use iWork and avoid formatting issues?

There is a little more sub-questions that I have on this subject, I would like to address based on the responses I receive from readers, so I'll wait for those to come!

    Thank you

    Michael

You're opening le.doc/.docx directly in the Pages or first in Word and then copy and paste in a doc white pages?

You can use .doc .xls .ppt as Pages/numbers/Keynote format and then save in iCloud drive. Just remember to use "export to" rather than "Save/Save as" when you want to save the doc.

There are 3 updates in the app store for iWork (Pages, Numbers and Keynote). I'm under El Capitan. Attempts failed repeated and persistent to get them to install with red text "an error has occurred." It appears in the console:

Start Safe Mode removes the system caches that can help.

Upper left corner of your screen, click on the Apple  > Shut Down.

After your Mac stops, wait 10 seconds, then press the power button.

As soon as you hear the startup tone, hold down the SHIFT key. You must press the SHIFT key as soon as possible once you hear the startup tone, but not before.

Release the SHIFT key when you see the gray Apple logo and progress indicator.

Once you are in Mode without failure, return to the menu Apple . In the drop-down list, click: reboot

If you still cannot update your applications, restore OS X using OS X Recovery.

  • I lost iWork?

So yesterday, I had to reset my MacBook Early 2015 Pro 13 "retina edition, which had started to freeze every so often, it wasn't even when there were 40 to 50 GB of storage left on it. After all night of this download OS X El Capitan, I check on it this morning and get put in place to see that I have more iWork applications.

As far as I know, I should be eligible to download the applications in iWork for free on the App Store, but when I look at it tells me that they are all $15 each.

    What should I do?

iWork applications are paid Apple developed the apps in the App Store.  If they came free with your computer, they should be accepted on an Apple ID.  Make sure that you are connected with the same Apple ID used during the first use of the computer, and then check the tab purchased on the App Store.  If the applications are not in the purchase tab contact Apple.

  • get iWork free apps?

I deleted some iWork apps on my mac before. Now that I want back them, they charge me money. Is it possible to recover them free of charge?

IWork applications should be in your list of purchases made on the App Store. If you do not see these applications, they may be under hidden purchases. You can try to download apps from there.

  • Slow Application launch time

    I have a 13 inch MacBook (mid-2012) bought in 2014. 2.5 Intel Core i5 to GHz, 4 GB 1600 MHz DDR3.

Operating system: OS X El Capitan 10.11.2

I have known launch of the application slow times, ranging from 15 seconds to launch iWork applications, 20 seconds to launch Chrome and iTunes and up to 50 seconds to launch Microsoft Office applications (2013). Once the applications are running for a few minutes, they work quickly and without problem.

I tried a few options of troubleshooting for general slowness of mac, but they have not improved launch time:

    • Updated all the software
    • Moved old documents to an external hard drive and erased from the laptop
    • Started in mode 'safe' and attempts to launch slow applications
    • Run 'First aid' disk utility
    • Cleared the cache of bookstores
    • Removed the unnecessary plugins of Chrome & Safari.

This could be the cause of slow launch times and how can I solve this problem?

Could be an application such as an antivirus by using memory resources program in the background. You can open the activity monitory and see if something is using too much memory.  Or download and run EtreCheck and post here.   http://www.etresoft.com/etrecheck
