No menu bar. None of the proferred solutions work.

I'm migrating from Windows XP to Linux Mint on a separate computer that came with Firefox preinstalled. The latter seems to work well until the absence of a tab bookmark attracted my attention to the fact that I had no Menu bar. I tried all of the solutions that I can find to no avail. Right-clicking on the tab bar, for example, produces only "hide toolbar" and "exit full screen" in the options from the drop-down menu all by right-clicking anywhere on the screen also fails reveal the bar of tasks/hide options. Without the Menu bar, I obviously have no option personalization and for similar reasons have been forced to use another Windows XP computer to send this report. Obviously, no additional information on the use of Firefox on this computer will be useful in the diagnosis of the situation on my Linux machine.

If you are in full screen view then hover over with the mouse to the top of the screen to facilitate the bar appear Navigation and tab bar.

Click the expand (in the top right Navigation bar) to exit full screen or right-click on a space empty on a toolbar and select "exit full screen" or press the F11 key.

    I simply "duped" the copier and formatted the envelope to print in the center of an 8 1/2 X 11 inch paper landscape page.  It took a few violins, but I've got envelopes printing.

    Right click on the space where the menu bar is supposed to be > check the menu bar.

  • Tecra A8 downgraded XP and none of the Toshiba Utilities works

    Hi all

    I just got a new Tecra A8 - it is downgraded to XP, and none of the Toshiba Utilities work (energy saving function keeys, keyboard shortcuts, etc.). When I try to reinstall - there is always an error message (missing dll or sth similar) - I tried to update the bios - couldn't - once again a missing file!

    any ideas how to solve this problem? at least the fn keys (fn key works - I see a light come on when I press - not the functions well!)

    your help, I much appreciated!

    see you soon,

    Dimitris

    Hi Dimitris

    May I ask you what Tecra A8?
    I visited the Toshiba driver page and it seems that Toshiba provide XP drivers for two different units A8 PTA83Eand PTA82E.

    You should be 100% sure that you are using the correct drivers!
    In addition, Toshiba released the Installation Instructions of the document on the page and to my knowledge it s necessary and important to follow this line of installation guide. The proper installation order is necessary!

    So take care and check again

  • Integrated menu bar merger reduced the previous features.

    With the Menu bar is now an internal merge function rather than simply using the OSX menu bar as it was before (up through at least my prior release 2.0.8) I can no longer interact with OSX spaces (among many other things.)  I have Fusion running in full-screen in space 2 OSX and Mac OSX Space 1 of my stuff.  Switching between them was as simple to move the cursor upward to get the OSX Menu bar to drop down and choose from it how much space I want to be in.  With the integrated menu bar when in space 2 interact with my full VM Fusion screen there is no way to return to 1 space where my OSX apps are running or any other space also.  This way to use spaces has been a great way to go behind full-screen Fusion in OSX without taking and Fusion of full screen.

    It of even worse when I try to control OSX and the machine virtual merger app TeamViewer from another PC, each separated from TeamViewer on my PC Windows.  Without going into many details suffice it to say that I can start is no longer melting remotely via TeamViewer as a window to my OSX system and then independently interact with the Mac and VM Fusion I was once able to.  I put the configuration in place but do leave the physical Mac.  I'm used to be able to do it completely remotely.

    Enough, enough, please give me a way to completely disable the integrated Fusion Menu bar (NOT just hide) and retrieve the more highly functional OSX Menu bar.  The built-in Menu bar is a large not back since all this is subset which was possible before and limited to specific features of Fusion rather than the full range of the merger and the OS x feature in the OSX menu bar.

    Another solution, which would fix some other complicated problems, the built-in menu bar causing, is simply a sequence of keys that explicitly draws down the OSX menu bar in a Fusion of full-screen window.  Such a thing could exist already, but I can't find any document detailing how to use the merge.  "Getting Started" just is not hack.

    Thank you

  • Menu bar moves to the right in IE6 and IE7

    Hello, my name is Stephen and a site I worked on is having problems of compatibility with IE6 and IE7. It could very well have problems of compatibility with other browsers as well, but I work in newer versions of IE, Mozilla, Safari, and Chrome.

    My problem is that the navigation at the top of my screen bar moves to the right, off the page, when there should be balance.

    I use Dreamweaver CS5.

    The Web site can be found at http://www.dremata.com

    It is currently under construction, but you should be able to see the line menu bar.

    Here is a screenshot of the page rendered in IE7, with the wrong menu bar on the right:

    menubar-off.jpg

    And behold, it is correctly aligned in IE8:

    menubar-correct.jpg

    Below, I've posted my CSS and welcome, opinions, critical and all your comments. My knowledge on HTML, CSS and using Dreamweaver is incredibly limited. All that I know is a mixture of self-taught and a course I took in high school. I try to learn as much as I can, so don't hold back. I have tried countless hours to get this menu bar for centering in IE6 and 7 and have applied the techniques I've read on (something hasLayout and floats compensation), but nothing helped. It is too frustrating to work more, so I hope someone can help me, lol.

    Add clear: both; in the .menubar css selector.

    HOWEVER, although that will position your navigation inside your page it will still not be rendered exactly the same in IE6 IE7 & as in Firefox, Safari, etc.

    Thick cross-browser I would revise the css for the .menubar .menubar ul, li and css anchor as below (is there no need to use the star or underscore hacks as long)

    {.menubar}
    Width: 960px;
    Clear: both;
    }
    . MenuBar ul {}
    Width: 960px;
    list-style-type: none;
    }
    . MenuBar ul li {}
    float: left;
    margin: 0 0 0 4px;
    }
    . MenuBar ul li a {}
    display: block;
    Background: #fff;
    Width: 100px;
    border: 1px solid #CCC;
    Color: #000;
    text-decoration: none;
    text-align: center;
    Police: normal 10px/18px "Lucida Grande", "Lucida Sans Unicode", verdana, lucida without serif.

  • Unable to access the menu bar to restore the default setting.

    Firefox hung up. I received a message that the script is running then stop script or continue. I have been unable to click either. Now, all I have is a black screen with a white rectangle at the top. I can't see my menu bar or address bar to reset the default value. I am at a loss to know what to do.
    Thank you.

    A right click (or Ctrl + click) on the dock, the Firefox icon and select Exit. If Firefox is stuck running, you have to force it quit.

    Before you restart Firefox, you can get rid of all tabs and windows that were previously open:

    1. Open your profile folder in the Finder.

    2. Rename sessionstore.js, sessionstore.bak , and sessionstore.bak-(numbers) to something else, for example sessionstore.js - disabled and so on.
    3. If Firefox does not work properly when restarted normally, start in Mode safe mode instead. The line in sans-echec Mode also allows you to reset Firefox, if that's what you want.

    Not related to your question, but...

    You may need to update some plug-ins. Check your plug-ins and update if necessary:

  • roboform menu, bar and all the toolbars are missing after the Fierefox 5

    I've upgraded to Firefox 5 and couldn't get the Roboform toolbar. Then the menu bar went away. I tried to restore it with the Alt key, as has been suggested, that did not work. How can I go back to the previous version of Firefox? I desperately need the Roboform and navigate. Thank you

    I had trouble with this too, but I found the answer.
    Download the addon from Lite RoboForm Password Manager. I thought that it worked only for the RoboForm everywhere, but it works for the ordinary too.

  • How to display the menu bar without revealing the title bar? (I want to do, what happens when I press alt)

    When I press alt with 'menu bar' unchecked... menubar is revealed. I want to let this stay.

    New Firefox button completely replaces the 'menu bar' well, that's the idea! You can temporarily show the bar when you press Alt (or F10) menu, but you can't have both at the same time.

  • When you use the menu bar above, on the homepage, + have tabs on top, BIG WASTE of 1 "BLANK SPACE ON TOP =

    I installed 4 Fox under Windows (7), on a PC. My top toolbar goes like this. Upper line: file, edit, etc.. Second line: open tabs. Third line: normal search and address bar. Fourth line: favorite icons. Fifth line: Google toolbar.

         I can see my DESKTOP, big waste of space, above these 5 lines, which DOES NOT utilize the FULL screen for display information.

    Maybe allowed to be located in the menu bar or the toolbar, so everything will fill the space lost on top.

    Thank you

    Use Firefox Button instead of the menu bar.

    Go to the Menu view > toolbars > uncheck menu bar option.

    You will see orange button in the upper left firefox with tabs moving upward.
