No noise entering Skype in point 8.1 of Windows

Recently, is a problem that I can not hear the voice of a contact, I'll call you while they hear me perfectly and video works OK. I use Windows 8.1 and thought of re - completely install Skype if it could help solve the problem. I would be grateful for any advice that would help to return to his return to Skype. Thank you very much for your help.

I answer to myself, as one of my friends advised me a solution that solved my problem, then perhaps it will be useful to all those who have a similar problem. The solution was to move to another option under speakers in the Audio settings. The attached figure shows the option I went to and now everything works OK.

  • Skype in point 8.1 of Windows - how can I return to the classic use as in Windows XP and Windows 7

    Dear gentlemen/Madame,

I searched and could not find a solution to my case.

I bought a laptop with Windows 8 preinstalled with SKYPE preinstalled as well.

This new pattern of Skype is very annoying. Please let know us if there is a way how can I go back to classic Skype use, as it was in Windows XP and Windows 7, where I had a shortcut to Skype on my desktop and clicking on the shortcut opens the Skype application directy in the dekstop.

Please help, as trace this novelty when Skype in Windows 8 will open in a new feature is very comfortable and little pets.

Please suggest and inform how to return to the previous classic mode of behavior for Skype.

Thanking you in advance for your kind assistance.

    Konstantin

You can do this by installing the version of classic desktop Skype.

The currently most recent Skype 6.13.0.104 desktop version can be installed using the msi installer:

  • Skype error: "Skype.exe point of entry not found the procedure entry point ntalpcsendwaitreceiveport...". »

Sorry for the ridiculously long title, but that is exactly the error I get.  When I contacted my friends @ Skype that they just told me it's associated windows problem.  I thought, but the error message appear says SKYPE not Windows. Anyway, there is a certain irony in all of this that Skype is a Microsoft company. I'm absolutely furious since Skype perhaps in conjunction with Windows has developed a kind of points of failure...

Original title: skype.exe point of entry not found the procedure entry point ntalpcsendwaitreceiveport could not be found in the dynamic link library.

Please note that the thread referenced in 'Question (1)' has been marked as the answer by a moderator, and not by the person who asked the question.  It is highly unlikely that will help in the Safe Mode, starting in a start-up in minimal mode or sfc/scannow configuration. Of course, you're welcome to try these things.

Uninstall and reinstall of Skype as suggested in "Question 2" would have been my first guess, but a bit of searching online suggests that it also assisted.  Again, try if you wish.  When you uninstall Skype, you will not lose your contacts.

Research online, I've mentioned suggests that the problem is caused by software Kies from Samsung.  You have this installed on your system?  If so (or even if not), go to C:\Windows\system32 and rename avrt.dll.  You can call it avrt.dlX or something else you like.  Reset.  Let us know if that fixes the problem.  If it didn't, or he did something another break, you can always change the original name (this is why rename is safer than deletion).

Original title: I can't do a restore point.

I get exception c:\windows\system32\shell32.dll,control_rundll,"c:\windows\system32\sysbm.cpl",system what can I do?

This has happened for a very long time.

    Does really say '... sysdm.cpl "?"

Is that what the text complete and accurate of what the message said exactly?  (there is no sysbm.cpl in XP, but there's a sysdm.cpl).

What happens if you click on start, run and enter in the box:

    sysdm.cpl

Click OK - the system properties box opens?

What happens if you click on start, run and in the type box (exactly):

    %SystemRoot%\System32\restore\rstrui.exe

Click OK - is the open window of the system restore?

What is exactly the process (step by step) you are using when you try to create the restore point and when in the process you see this message?

I think it's a miracle that the Microsoft support engineer can provide a link to an article when the error message report you is a little out of whack and articles doesn't mention your error message at all.  It's real good troubleshooting or clairvoyance!

  • Laptop HP Pavilion G6: mouse pointer delay after upgrade Windows 10

I installed Windows 7 to Windows 10. So far, the only glitch is with the mouse. After that I typed, the arrow of the mouse does not move during 3 seconds. I have:

Looked to reinstall the driver. He said that it is up-to-date.

Properties of the mouse adjusted to zero delay (from average delay) on pointer after typing.

Both of the above should have potentially fixed, but as it won't let me update the driver, there is little I can do on this charge. Also, I rebooted it after the latter. It made no difference.
