No System Restore Point, then how to return to a system update before?

Windows has completed an update and my task bar is back to an older version, changed color and left me with an old start button (grr!), more my Sidebar is now completely opaque, whereas previously it was translucent. For some reason, there is no system restore point to go back to a system update before, and I am not allowed to create a system for yesterday restore point, so, how do I fix these errors?  Obviously these defects are not affecting performance, but given that I'm a bit OCD, they cause some irritation. : O

Thanks in advance for any help that is to come.

You need not return to the update to fix that. With the right button of your wallpaper, just go to customize and choose any theme Aero.  Aero is the brand name for the DWM (Desktop Window Manager) technology that powers all the effects of glass and styles.

With Windows Defender, I noticed that a new restore point is created whenever there is an update of Windows definitions, if I use the method of automatic or manual update.  I found that when I opened the system restore and found a new copy with description: "Installation: Windows Update.  In the history of Windows Defender, I noticed that the time corresponded to when the update the definitions file.

I've updated my iPhone 6s in the last (9.3.4) update and now have show no Service at the top. Yesterday, I had intermittent service and thought it was the carrier, but it's not.  I've been using Google Maps and it kept crashing and place would come no Service. Can someone help me to return to the previous update please?

Before posting this question I've shot and turn it back on repeatedly, I followed all the steps that Apple has informed including turning airplane mode on/off, remove the SIM (my carrier replaced) and reset the network settings. I can't ring Apple for help and live about 3 hours in an Apple Store.  My phone was working perfectly before installing the update.

I just got the 'volume' down on my percentage for RPs to 200 MB space and he killed all of them except the last RP.

Then (although SR was always open) I did a new PR and there were two in the calendar.  Then I did another and there were three...

Then I closed SR and began again and only the last one (number 3) was still there and the other two had been killed.

Did you present your cursor percentage of volume, right?  If this isn't the case, you should at least try.

Only options it shows are all after the beginning of misery... My fault for typing. Refresh deletes everything and all restore points so there is no way to go back. There is a lot of attention. Once the restore points are gone, they are gone.  It is from my computer when I press Refresh:

    (1) your files and customization settings will not be changed

    (2) all settings will be reset to their default values

    (3) apps in the store will be kept

    (4) (Yes the Apps) apps installed from disk or Web sites will be deleted

    (5) a list of all the deleted applications will be in a folder on your desktop

You should read when you try something new, that may not be much clearer. In the future, you should make one see update custom Image: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2748351/en-us and it's also a good idea to have a complete picture of the system and he followed to date so if you need to reset you can use.

Hope this helps and if you need any additional aid station and we will be happy to help you.

  • restore point

I couldn't restore my computer. It happened after I have install windows updates. When I restore operation that all restore operations are underway and after a reboot it gives an error message saying that the file system has not restored for unspecified reasons.
    Any body can help me?

    Mohamed,
Is there a reason that you are trying to do a system restore after the updates have been installed?  Are you aware of the work just before System Restore updates or could it have been a problem until the updates have been installed?  You can uninstall the latest updates and then try to restore the system to see if that corrects the problem.  If your system is not need to be restored to this point, you can turn off the system restore feature, and then turn it back on.  This deletes all your current restore points and then create a new one.
The link TaurArian has great information about the system restore points and how to work with it.  It also has screenshots and instructions for XP, Vista and Windows 7.  Here is a link to a Microsoft article that shows how to enable system restore off\on.
