  Did you try and run Malwarebytes to clear your system? Could also be a potential Rootkit that is causing your issues. You can also download and run a program called "unmask" who will try to recover missing you Windows utilities.

After inserting my pen of friends drive, I can't able to access taskmanager (Mozila Firefox browser), my Antivirus (McAfee), dialog box run and prompt etc... But I can able to run MATLAB, SIMULINK. Even after safe mode with administrator password I can't able to access which above I said. If I think mozila it opens but quickly it closes. Safe mode with networking mode command prompt / safe as I can't access the task or the command prompt, the registry Manager... Please help me...

  so I opend my task manager because my CPU usage is 50% when nothing else was open, and I have 3 GB of memory. Then I opened it and it went directly to the taskbar as a thumbnail and would never open. However, whenever I try to use this suite software it requires user name and password credentials. What is a credential? How should I configure one?
