Noob or not this layout stuff is BROKEN!

If you run this simple example, you will see that the Web remains centered only until MAX width and height are achieved, and then it is is more preserved in the center of the window? How is it and why do even those things so SIMPLE are so DIFFICULT to achieve?

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>
<s:Application xmlns:fx="http://ns.adobe.com/mxml/2009"
xmlns:s="library://ns.adobe.com/flex/spark"
xmlns:mx="library://ns.adobe.com/flex/mx"
backgroundColor="#CCCCCC"
maxWidth="640" maxHeight="480"
>
<mx:Canvas id="mainCanvas" x="0" y="0"
height="{(this.width / (4/3))}"
width="{(this.height * (4/3))}"
backgroundColor="white"
horizontalCenter="0" verticalCenter="0"
/>
</s:Application>

you already managed to focus your canvas havn't you?

It works fine for me

or are you talking about centering in the middle with a maximum resolution of 640 x 480?

in this case, why not put the app to w & h 100%, place a cloth in there with these dimensions max and then place your scaling of the canvas.

or if you do not want to use another canvas, you could intercept the height & width so that they cannot exceed a certain size by monitoring the resize event

480)
mainCanvas.height = 480

if(mainCanvas.width > 640)
mainCanvas.width = 640
}
]]>

You can even create your own custom canvas that does this on the Set accessor of the height and width, allowing you to reuse in any project you want without having to recode.

• This layout is impossible?

I am building this layout. Remarkable things. The bottom left and right box are both aligned bottom left and bottom right of the orange container. The orange container varies in length depending on the amount of text in the multi-line label.

PROBLEMS:

(1) making the orange containing a DockLayout, host of the multiline to the top label and the other two labels to the left/down and bottom/right causes the labels from the bottom to print above the top of the page layout. This is because the minimum height of the orange box is exceeded (in some cases), and DockLayout has no property to expand, to avoid duplication.

(2) making the container a StackLayout, it works better, since the top label is obliged to no overlap of the two background labels. However, if the multiline label fill all the minimum height of the orange box (which occurs in some cases), despite the down/left, and bottom-right box is aligned vertically to the bottom, they are just below the multi-line label. StackLayout seems to ignore the two boxes at the bottom, vertical alignment for a reason any.

No idea as to how this design can be implemented?

There are several approaches I could think, but it seems to work very well.

Container {
layout: DockLayout {}
property int padding: 20
background: Color.create("#ff7f27")
horizontalAlignment: HorizontalAlignment.Fill
leftPadding: padding
rightPadding: padding
topPadding: padding
bottomPadding: padding
minHeight: 300 // key parameter

Container {
bottomPadding: bottomArea.height // note link to bottom area
Label {
id: theLabel
multiline: true
text: "Bacon ipsum dolor sit..."
}
}

Container {
id: bottomArea
property int height: 100 // key parameter to keep label from intruding
layout: DockLayout {}
verticalAlignment: VerticalAlignment.Bottom
horizontalAlignment: HorizontalAlignment.Fill

Container {
background: Color.Black
preferredWidth: 200
preferredHeight: parent.height - 25
}

Container {
horizontalAlignment: HorizontalAlignment.Right
background: Color.Black
preferredWidth: 200
preferredHeight: parent.height - 25
}
}
}

Note several comments identify key parameters. You don't give enough details on what the boxes at the bottom were for me to do more than that, so they just height fixed containers for now.

Look at the WinSat.log file and see if it tells you what error... In addition, it was noted that Kaspersky 2010 is causing this problem.

• Get the 'ads not this site' on Google Chrome.

Original title: ads

Hello

I keep getting ads on Google Chrome (I tried others like Explorer still has on it) it only happened a few days ago, I think I have a virus, but I ran the Microsoft Safety Scanner on my laptop and it said: I have no one. For example when I go on Google advertising gets down, under the search bar, and each ad to be on Twitter, YouTube and so on, it says 'ads not by this website '
This never used to happen before, I think it was the Thursday he began to arrive, I have Norton since January, but I installed Microsoft Security Essentials today, believing they would disappear, as it's free, but they do not go far.
I'd appreciate if someone answered and helped me sort this at once. Either incidentally, I tried these things in advertising blocker, and I did not, because they blocked the ad supported by the site, such as YouTube ads
Thank you.

Hey Jake,

As you face the issue with Google chrome, you may need to change the settings in Google chrome itself.

You might contact the support of Google chrome to get help.

For more information, see the Google support link:

Always get the 'ads not this site' not in chrome extensions

• "The Launcher to this contact link is broken.

Hi all

Here's the problem: I added a contact with a single profile (Google) for my pitcher. Later, I deleted the Google account from the phone as part of a problem of synchronization and then added the account to the phone again. The launcher icon has been replaced by a Crescent Moon icon. When I press on it, I get the message "the pitcher to this contact link is broken." I can't remove the icon.

Any suggestions?

Thank you

-Steve

Hi massimob43349164,

Password protect a PDF file, you will need Adobe Acrobat.

It is not possible to add security using the player.

Reference: Acrobat Help. Securing PDF files with passwords

Hope it will be useful.

Kind regards

• I have Adobe Acrobat XI and can not know how to draw a line. I need to redline some documents but can not. Does version XI even not this feature?

I have Adobe Acrobat XI and can not know how to draw a line. I need to redline some documents but can not. Does version XI even not this feature?

Yes, Acrobat Pro XI and standard have this ability.
There is the comment > Annotations > online tool.
There is the comment > Annotations > tool bar.

In the Properties dialog box for one, you can select a desired color (i.e. red).
So, in properties, you can check a choice to make this the default value of the tool.

Basically, all versions of Acrobat (including the new "DC") offer this feature.

If you work with a scanned image that has been placed in the PDF don't forget to use the OCR to get an output of a 'real' text - Acrobat provides a feature of OCR.

Be well...

• I want that my Adobe reader back not this DC, Adobe software which doesn't allow me to delete my documents without having to pay monthly subscription. This new application of hatred

I can't delete documents without having to pay for the subscription. Love the software adobe reader, not this acrobat DC, any help with the deletion of documents, even those that aren't PDF files

Hi Richard,

This document would help?

How to manage files Acrobat DC for iOS

As Dennis mentioned above, there is no need to buy a subscription for the basic features (e.g. delete/rename/move/duplicate files, view PDF, research documents, file sharing, print).

Please let us know if you have any additional questions.

• LVOOP - Screw for the substitution will not run if brother is broken

Scenario: I have a class parent with two children who are independent (child class A and class B child). Class children don't do not reference child class B or vice versa. In the parent class, I a VI called Populate' objects ' that should be overridden by his children.

Children class A has an incomplete implementation of object "fill" and is so broken.

Child class B has a complete implementation of object "fill" and should run fine. However, the VI run not (the broken arrow button).

Implementation of the warnings and errors dialog box has the child class B: fill Object.vi in the list. When I select this .vi, it says "0 errors/warnings. UH... Ok...

I go back and correct the errors in the child class A: complete Object.vi, and as the child class B: magically fill Object.vi will run. Is it normal? It does not appear that it would be a useful tool, if this is by design.

Edit: Uhg. The spelling. I wish that my web browser default Checker worked this form... / sigh.

I told the Support NOR the same thing earlier because it is very difficult to find the real cause of the error with classes that have a large number of screws and/or children - I received more than 100 messages of error caused by a problem in 1 VI!

I was told that this was not the first time such a comment had been raised, but that he had still not been resolved, it was probably not "super fast to fix."

One thing I found to make life a little easier is to look to the top of the error window and look for red x-> these indicate the actual screw that are broken, as opposed to screws that are broken because they require something that is broken, etc.
