Not correct Active Directory domains
Hello
I use the plugin 13:04 on vCO 5.5.1. When I run everything to create the workflow of the user, like create a user with a password in an ORGANIZATIONAL unit or to create a user with a password in a group, for example, if you look in ad the new user fields are not filled correctly.
Example, the first name field is the name that I provided in the workflow. The family name field is populated with the name of the account, I have provided.
Any ideas on how to get this to work as expected?
You cannot change the workflow library... instead, you create a new workflow that encapsulates the workflow library, add entries and additional workflow elements to perform the required task. In the workflow I have attached, that's what I did. I have card workflow library entries and then move the object of AD: User created as an attribute and then proceed in a Scriptable job that sets correctly the givenName, sn, etc...

Printingsharing in an Active Directory domain cannot be used?
Well, I do support funds for a University that has all their PC on an Active Directory domain and all computers running Windows XP, essentially a user asked me to attach a USB printer to his PC just to share it with others in the Office of the Pc... simple right? So I did and printer sharing worked well, but it works just fine if I turn the firewall the host PC that is attached to the printer off or if I take the PC out of Active Directory. So if I reset the PC host on Active Directory or put the firewall on you cannot share the printer. I checked the exception in the firewall to ensure that port TCP 139 is there and it is, I spoke with the it Department of the University on this topic and do not know what to say. Original title: my printers on WIndows 7 seemed to have disappeared...
Printers are not listed for printing set up in Word, Notepad, Adobe, etc., when I try to add a printer, he said the local print spooler service is not running, or domain services active directory is currently unavailable. Printers are shown on the list of devices, and when I run the troubleshooting it says that the print spooler problem is solved. but I still can't print. The question is on a laptop Samsung bought in store Microsoft to OakBrook, Illinois.
It started on 8 July and I was not able to resolve since. In reviewing the restore points, I don't see any problems, and printers are recorded in the other PC, I plugged in.
Thanks for your help.
Imran,
Thank you very much for the reply onse. I appreciate it. I tried your suggestions and everything in the fix he said that the print spooler has been repaired, it would not print. I ran the scanner and came without any problem.
I did a restore of the system to a point prior to the issuance and the printers are busy, apparently something in an update has a problem. I'll look next week and see what happens.
Thanks again for your reply and your suggestions, I appreciate it.
