• Why not save a vector file in creative cloud?

  As a professional Illustrator, I've been a fan of Adobe ideas: work completed, just sent me a vector file and... Ok. Or instead, it was recorded at my creative cloud like a .ideas backed up by file. Perfect.

  Draw came with large additions to the ideas, no doubt. But it lacks the most elementary thing: export the work as a usable file (I don't talk of a dirty .jpeg, .png not own or even export to another application like Illustrator CC - I'm talking about a .svg vector file).

  Why not make a vector file to access creative cloud backup? In general, I don't need Illustrator to make improvements or corrections to my work. My illustrations came ready ideas or draw (I used to access the .svg files in the sandbox of the app, but with ios 9 that not more possible and ideas is no longer works with these ios also version).

  I think that (a vector file to my CC upward), would be a solution, because it would not interfere in politics of Adobe to not use versions inherited (according to the CS6), as well as its applications and at the same time would make things much easier for us, existing users.

  Someone here in another thread said that there are many other applications of vector in the itunes store, we are wasting our time trying to get these files to the CS6, but... If we continue using the draw it's because it's good... I would not be insistent in this idea for as long as I was if it wasn't a good app! But something is missing. Something I think it's pretty simple to do.

  Thank you for your comments persuasive. This is a feature that has generated a momentum of opinion and pleas and requests (including Maruyama KBFeature Request: Save in CreativeCloud in vector format (svg / AI / draw)).

  I don't know when / if the functionality that has been so popular in the Adobe ideas will be added to the draw, but I'll certainly make sure that the product teams see your comments.

• iTunes does not remember which track/file reading in an album

  I use v.12.4.1.6 on my desktop. I have a lot of audio books, most of which are divided into 2, 3 or more files. Whenever reading moves to the 2nd or subsequent file, and I stop listening and close iTunes, when I try to reread the book (?) once again, playback resumes the first file in the book (album).

  Is there some setting in which case I can get iTunes to remember which file of the book/album he played last?

  Note: iTunes has no problem remembering where he last was in the first file, or in the following files when they are selected individually.

  I don't think that there is no specifically, but there is a viable solution. It may seem complex, but it's not really!

  What you could do is set up a smart playlist, the value contain the audio files on this one 'book', but only if this file has not been played. What then, is the reading list would have all files (in iTunes, audiobook, the files are called chapters). You then play the playlist and once you play a chapter, it gets removed from the playlist, leaving those that you have not yet played.

  When you then open iTunes, this Playlist will have even the chapters that you have not listened to. As you point out, the position of reading in each file is recalled by iTunes (there is a setting for each file that controls).

  Try it, it won't take long to implement.

  You change the fields with the asterisk to resemble the following example. Click the + (arrows) button to add a new line for additional rules:

  • the above view is finds / discovers / Book list. It displays each chapter (even though my list has only one chapter!)
  • the "all (of the following rules :)" option is that once you add a second rule (by clicking on the button +) ")"
  • the Album is the title of the book audio. When you look at a chapter read the information, it is listed as the title field
  • the number of plays is incremented when you play at the end of this chapter. If you have different play account for chapters, you can reset play if you wish. If each chapter has been played once, the value rule in the Playlists of plays / is less to / 2 so that each chapter is in the list once more until you play this chapter for the second time.

  You can rename the playlist for what suits you. I chose Mexicanos in my example (as part of the title of the book).

  In addition, you can manually set the order of the chapters within the playlist if it isn't as you wish, by selecting the left instead of one column is selected and then dragging chapters within the list.

• Download timer estimate not updated until the file is made of 7/8, size of the file not considered and corrupt downloads!

  Sometimes when I download a file of the estimator download will not update until that file is downloaded about and made. It didn't happen in the previous versions, I think somewhere around v15? or whenever the new download manager has been implemented.

  Another problem is that the size of the file is unknown until mainly downloaded.

• Write that VI PNG file will not replace the existing file

  Hi all

  I use VI file PNG write to store the graph in a png file. I am able to save the file with a specific file name, which includes the date, model number, serial number etc.. Once the chart is saved as a png file, if I make changes in the graph (as autoscale, turn captions etc.) and try again to save the file with the same file name, write PNG leader VI does not save the changes I made on the chart. I'm looking at the timestamp on the windows Explorer, but it is not updated. I opened the VI itself (which is write protected) to see if it generates an error if I provided the same file name, but it does not generate an error.

  I don't know if I am missing anything.

  Can you people please help me find a way to replace the existing PNG file?

  I'm using LabVIEW 2013 on Win 7 machine.

  You are also looking at the image itself? Explorer Windows cannot update the timestamp in the display immediately, or you might be looking at creation time, which doesn't seem to change when you replace a file.

  I joined the community vatsim (the international flight online network) for fsx. It's more realistic than fsx never giving live atc communication with atc controllers. That is why I joined it. After I signed up they asked two software download

  1: fscopilot

  2: fsinn

  both are necessary to connect to vatsim with fsx.

  I downloaded it successfully, and the entire facility was very good and correct.

• How to fix a download that is "a supported file type not or because the file has been damaged"

  You need an application that can read a MP4 video file.

  Type in the box libraries Start Menu search.  Open the folder named "Libraries" in the list in the Start Menu when the search is complete and right click on the subfolder "Documents (library)", try the default button (first make a note of the location of the library).

  Do not ignore the fact that the user profiles sometimes receive corrupted it is why we test with other newly created users.  Create users and then remove are fairly easy.

  This is just for information, in which case it turns out that other users do not have problem of the current user.

  In the case of the Windows Photo Viewer, the official documentation says that it can display the following types of files (although you can add a little more by installing one or more codecs- LINK):

  Do you really mean PSF files?  As far as I can tell, a PSF file is probably an Adobe Photoshop proof Settings file.

  If you mean PDF files - which are outputs to any scanner - you can view these last with the free Adobe Reader or Foxit Readerfree software, among others.

  This script provides a short flashing (command prompt), but the Clipboard does not contain the expected string. However, when double clicking generated I:\!_temp\ClipBoardW.bat the Clipboard is filled correctly.
  IMHO the execute method does not work for bat files. In another area of my script project I run an exe with this method correctly.

  I just wanted to report that the example script in your first post doesn't work on my computer.

  You mention that the command window appears shortly, which indicates that the .bat file is executed.

  Perhaps execution fails at another time?

  If you want to open the command window and the arrival of messages, add the command "pause" in the batch file:

  I am a teacher and am having problem opening files SWF student. I believe that many of my students are still in Flash CS6 or maybe CS5.

  
  I have Flash installed CC. It seems that my Flash Player is 11.7.700.169. But I also have Flash Player 11.4.402.265, which is what I understand the Player Flash CS6?

  When I try to open their SWF to display, it closes immediately. I can open the. Fla. fine, although when this has happened, it looks like students used TLF text, and I get a message from Flash CC: it is not supported. But if they did anything with fonts, I did not, I do not see their work as expected. This is an intro class, so they have not really learned about the integration yet.

  My hunch is that the TLF text will not work in the most recent Flash Player. But I wonder why the SWF does not so in agreement with the 11.4xxx version.  Any ideas on what I can do?

  1. If they are not embedding fonts and you don't have a font that is used by one of your students, you will not see their project in the same way they see.

  2. that said, you should always be able to see their sovereign wealth funds.  Simply open a swf file (or better, integrating html) in a web browser that has a flash player plugin...

• Why not Photoshop create new files or open after a while 'old'?

  So I've had this problem for about a month now and is really infuriating.

  I installed the trial version CS6 Master suit, and after a little more, I would like to notice that after some time of using photoshop, would not:

  • Open old files
  • Create new
  • Would slow down and begin to break the feet if I had a file open when the 'event '.
  • It would be impossible to record.

  After a google search, I found a lot of suggestions, such as the default printer is a network printer that was not connected or that the suggestions were corrupt. None of them worked. I did a clean reinstall of windows, but this did not fix my problem. Now, I think I remember that there was a problem I had as many years ago, and it's a windows update that screwed up Photoshop, one of the K9XXXXXX these updates. Other than that, I have no leads other than the fact that it is a hardware based or somehow the problem persists after reinstallation of windows.

  I tried to support, but of course they require that you bought to get any help. So all I have is this forum. Help, please.

  Open photoshop when it is buggy and press Ctrl + Break (Break) (it's usually next to the print screen).

  I'm far from being comfortable with all programs of this type, so please bear with me. I am doing a slideshow for my Peewee team and I'm up to the wire to it. I bought PE4 in an attempt to open some options for our slideshows (my wife has already used Roxio but I wasn't happy with it). I'm trying to take a video that I've transferred from VHS to DVD using a Magnavox dubbing system. I am trying to take the video of the dvd and put it in PE4, so that I can put music on the video (the things in the crowd were not always things that grade 5 students should hear when they look at their video of the season). I succumbed to the import of files in PE4. I always get the same error message: "audio rate not supported in the file. I tried to convert the dvd to AVI using "Next Video Converter 3.0" and even "DVD Shrink 3.2" & "AutoGK".» I even tried to convert it to AVI using NVR and leaving out of the audio file. I still get the same message. Please someone help me with this. I am against the ropes here, and I don't want to disappoint my boys.

  I tried to find help by reading some of the other posts here, but to be honest that I was not able to make heads or tails of any of them. I don't really understand this kind of thing, and when people start talking about codecs etc, this is no logic for me. Any help in plain English would be appreciated.

  The challenge is that these VHS to DVD dubbing sometimes systems use codecs (compression systems) for their video and audio that don't Digest well in programs such as Premiere Elements.

  The simplest solution is to convert DVD files (which are the VOBs) to DV - AVI using a program called MPEG Streamclip. Instructions where to find it and what are the settings to use in the FAQ on the right of this forum.

  A much simpler way to do this, is to let the DVD on the move of the VHS to digital completely. You can do this by using a device called a DV bridge. You plug your camcorder VHS or player inside and it connects (via FireWire) on your computer. The files it creates on your computer are DV - AVI, the ideal format for editing in Premiere Elements.

  I recommend the ADS Pyro AV Link. It sells for less than $150, and it will be more profitable for itself in a few weeks, if you do this kind of dubbing VHS regularly. The FAQ have more information about it and other DV devices. (Do not use cheaper scanners, like the Dazzle unit, incidentally. It only will lead to more headaches.)

• Finder will not work, cannot open files - 10.9.5

  I am a very basic level user and am overwhelmed by all the information. on the net so I hope someone can point me in the right direction:

  I use a macbook pro 2010, 10.9.5.  Since yesterday, I can't use the finder. It keeps freezing and not to show all files. In addition, the window often "mosaics" finder up. My first concern was that it could be quite a virus - I used Avast free antivirus that after verification has shown that my mac was no longer protected. So I installed McAfee 30 day free trial of LiveSafe. He has conducted an audit of my computer (and came with 15 threats that are now quarantined). But the mac deteriorate to freezing. I tried to connect under a different name and everything seemed to work OK, included finder. But this test user has not any files or anything in it so I don't know about you.

  My next step was to back up everything on my external hard drive I usually once a month.

  Now, I think trying to reinstall the osx... it is the right thing to do? And I have a few questions about this:

  1. I've got Snow Leopard reinstall disks. I'll be able to install Snow Leopard and then get the Mavericks again?

  2 can I completely erase the computer and reinstall. Or is it fine to reinstall on the existing OSX and then you spend? I read that you can do this and not lose any data.

  3. If I completely wipe everything and reinstall if the problem is a virus will be he transferred to the computer with the saved data (external hard drive)

  Or should I do something totally different? I would be very grateful for some advice. As I said, there is so much information on the internet that I don't know what info to follow.

  I regularly download files, and they will 'always' in the same directory. Now, I downloaded fedora-live-workstation-i686-22-3.iso
  of https://getfedora.org/en/workstation/download/and (a) I didn't get the usual "save/open" Download dialog and (b) I can not find the downloaded file. The < downloads - tools > FF screen displays the file as downloaded, but not (AFAICT) where he was placed.
