  What version of Windows XP you have installed? If you have installed Windows XP Pro, the notification area can be hidden in group policy using the following steps:

  1. Click Start
  2. Click on run
  3. Type gpedit.msc gpedit.msc
  4. Double-click User Configuration
  5. Double-click Administrative Templates
  6. Double-click on the Start Menu and taskbar
  7. Right-click to hide the notification, and then select Properties
  8. On the setting tab, select enable
  9. Click apply then OK
  10. Restart your computer

  Follow the steps below to set the desktop background and select the image to fit the display screen

  As soon as Google generates a program that will run on the ARM processor that uses the surface.  The old regular Google Earth uses a type of processor Intel / x 86 and will not work.  ARM processors are used in almost all of the tablets and phones because they are very energy efficient.

  Is Google to decide if they want to build to the Surface.  They probably will not be, whether they are competing with Microsoft.  If you want Google stuff, you can buy a Google tablet.
