Notification of connection has my bar tasks disappear, how do I get it back?

Notification of connection (the flashing screens) in my taskbar disappeared, how to bring them back?  I tried to start and taskbar, but it wont let me click the connections options.

Hello

If method 1 does not resolve it or as you say is not available, try Method 3:

"How to activate or disable the Notification area system icons in Vista"

http://www.Vistax64.com/tutorials/106787-notification-area-system-icons.html

Then if you still have problems, you can try a system restore to before the problem:

Using Windows 7 or Vista System Restore:

See you soon.
