Number of the administrator

I signed in as an administrator and had to add something to the Hosts file - when I try to save the file, I get a message that says I have to contact the
Administrator for permission to save the file.  How to fix this problem?  I have three accounts, two users in general and an administrator - Yes, I'm sure I'm connected correctly.

    Hello

Unfortunately, business machines such as Probooks or EliteBook have more strict security consumption patterns - they do not produce "stop codes", the password cannot be derived from the serial number and the code is stored in a nonvolatile memory to remove the RTC cell does not reset the password in this case.

If you Contact HP Business support they should be able to send you a file custom SMC.bin that you can use to reset the password at startup.

    1. have you made any changes to the computer before the show?

This problem occurs if Windows Update has been disabled by one of the following settings:

    · Group Policy

    · System policy
    · Registry

I suggest you follow these methods and check.

Method 3: Turn off the antivirus application and try to download the updates and check.

Note: Antivirus software can help protect your computer against viruses and other security threats. In most cases, you should not disable your antivirus software. If you need to disable temporarily to install other software, you must reactivate as soon as you are finished. If you are connected to the Internet or a network, while your antivirus software is disabled, your computer is vulnerable to attacks.

Method 4: Perform a full scan of the computer using the following antivirus applications.

    Microsoft Safety Scanner: http://www.microsoft.com/security/scanner/en-us/default.aspx

    Malicious software removal tool: http://www.microsoft.com/security/pc-security/malware-removal.aspx

Note: The data files that are infected must be cleaned only by removing the file completely, which means that there is a risk of data loss.

  • Delete the administrator user after you stop it

I enabled the administrator account by using the command:

NET user administrator / Active: Yes

Vista has created a large number of files of the user for the account (for example, in users\Administrator, such as AppData for Microsoft Office, etc.). I suspect Vista may have created other records and information (for example, registry settings) when I activated this account.

Since then, I have disabled the account administrator for assistance:

NET user administrator / active: No.

I want to go back to the computer where it was until I enabled the administrator account. (My normal account has administrator rights).

How do I know which of the files user\Administrator can I remove? Can delete everything in users\Administrator?

    Thank you!

    Hi sachelis

Leaving the folder on your computer will do no harm. However if you want to remove it, you can go ahead and delete it.

Note: All personal files that you created in this hidden administrator account will be deleted.

    Good luck

Next the administrator account number-> may request to your son or doughter - they know what account is a member of the admin group (and they also know the password for this account).

Given that the account is already active, you will not have to activate it. Anyway, you can type
NET user administrator / Active: Yes
When you are connected under an administrator account. Note that by using the administrator account gives you exactly the same privileges as any other admin account. There is no difference.
