Numbers, Keynote, GarageBand, used to be free but are now paid

I noticed today that GarageBand, Keynote, and Numbers appear as paid on the App Store for me. I was under the impression that they were free apps and I think I remember not even appear as free. Are they free of charge only during a certain period of time or have I missed something?

I believe that, with the apple iOS, update a bunch of free stuff are now paid, such as radio
