of 8.48.16 to 8.49
HelloHow to: HR 8.48.16 to 8.49?
Thank you.
Assuming you're talking about an upgrade, Peopletools, here the stages of the macro:
1. install the new version of Peopletools in a new home of Peoplesoft
2. create a DEMO with new version of Peopletools (call ot new DEMO)
3. create a DEMO with the old version of Peopletools (call ot old DEMO)
4. compare the Peopletools project between the old database of DEMONSTRATION and a reference database (call the REF) of your env (including all your customizations)
5. record all changes (customizations) according to the diff from step 4
6. put your database level REF by following the Guide of Installation of Peopletools your version of Peopletools target
7. apply the return all the customizations on the REF database if they have been ignored by the Peopletools upgrade
8 make a comparison between the new DEMO and the REF update database, it should be more or less the same the compare ran in step 4
Nicolas.
