Of Oracle forms list

Hello, I use oracle weblogic 10.3.5 with oracle 11g on windows platform forms 7. I have a form of oracle with a list item (data item). Now, I joined a group of records from another table of data to fill the list item. My list item is set to null by default, but I want to show a particular in the list item value when one new instance of list item:

___________________________________

|                 ABC                                    |

|__________________________________|

This is a list item. It has 4 values that

Value name

' '                    NULL

A                    1

B                    2

ABC                3

D                    4

-----------------------------------------

and at the instance of list item is loaded so I want to show the ABC (action name) and 3 (value) in the list item.

Thank you

cordially Abdellatif

  • Oracle forms/reports 12 c | Items on the Start Menu

    Hi guys

    I installed and configured Oracle weblogic 12 c (12.2.1), forms, and reports 12 c (Professional 64-bit Windows 10, 16 GB RAM, i7 processor platform) and be able to start the server administration Weblogic, wls_forms (wls_reports not yet configured). The only element of start menu, I could see as shown below with the image

    oq1.png

    I'm not sure what exactly I missed during installation and configuration (Oracle® Fusion Middleware, installation Oracle Forms and Reports, 12 c (12.2.1), E66264-01) for the installation and configuration. Please help me

    Kind regards

    Did you follow that?

    Steps in order:

    • Ensure that the machine has the static IP address (or the loopback installed and configured adapter for Windows)
    • 8 RAM minimum concert
    • Open a shell (DOS) and set the PATH to include the JDK (8U51 + 64 - bit) first in the list
    • In the shell, run the WLS installation program and follow the instructions: java-jar fmw_12.2.1.0.0_infrastructure.jar
    • Run forms and reports 12.2.1 installer
    • Run the RCU THAT found in C:\Oracle\Middleware12\Oracle_Home\oracle_common\bin
    • Run the configuration (config) (if on Windows, do not forget the shell has administrator privileges) (C:\Oracle\Middleware\Oracle_Home\oracle_common\common\bin)
    • With a shell with administrator privileges, start Node Manager (startNodeManager) and then start Admin Server (startWebLogic) (C:\Oracle\Middleware\Oracle_Home\user_projects\domains\base_domain\bin)

    Once the servers have been launched successfully, the configuration will complete automatically.  This process also ends configurations required by design tools, the server startup if necessary to complete the steps.  They can be stopped if you are simply interested in examining the Builder (s), but obviously will not be able to run anything, if the servers do not work.

    I hope that between this overview and documentation, almost everyone should be able to get a good start.

  • Oracle forms 11g can be deployed on the WebSphere from IBM server?

    I found the following paragraph regarding the Middleware components that are supported on IBM WebSphere, but this list does not specifically mention the Oracle Forms or Oracle reports.  Does anyone know if Oracle Forms and reports works OK on the IBM WebSphere server?   Thank you!

    You can configure the following Oracle Fusion Middleware components on the servers of third-party application support:

    • Oracle SOA Suite
    • Oracle WebCenter Portal
    • Oracle WebCenter content
    • Oracle Data Integrator
    • Oracle Business Intelligence
    • Oracle Application Development Framework (Oracle ADF)
    • Oracle Application Developer Runtime

    For this release of Oracle Fusion Middleware 11g, Oracle supports only IBM WebSphere Application Server as an application server third-party for these products to Oracle Fusion Middleware.

    Oracle Forms/Reports 11 is not supported with WebSphere.  Its installation requires the deployment in Oracle WLS 10.3.x.

  • Oracle Forms 11g - OFA - ADF Developer?

    Hello

    I am a newbie in these conditions and therefore don't know much about the difference...
    I finished the developer of the OCA and now I don't know what to choose then?

    what I've seen online on the next certification path is
    http://education.Oracle.com/pls/web_prod-plq-dad/db_pages.getPage?page_id=5001 & get_params = p_exam_id:1Z0 - 151 & p_org_id = & lang =

    It's Oracle Fusion Middleware 11g: create Applications with Oracle Forms

    also, I've seen some good hype about FAD and OPS being newbie I don't know what is the difference or either I can't find all of them in the lists of Certification.
    which I suppose is OAF is the same as Oracle Fusion Middleware 11g: create Applications with Oracle Forms

    but where is the certification of the ADF? any link

    also what to choose regardless of what I have in mind.

    Thank you

    Concerning
    Hassan Siddique

    (1) I guess there not available for OFA certification. However there is available land (Oracle University)

    (2) well, for that you need first to decide. you want to stay with forms and develop in sql, PL/SQL (learn more about the DB), then forms is the way to go. If you enjoy working with java and develop J2EE applications, you should work with ADF. OAF I don't know much about it other that it's built on an older version of the ADF, but is more suitable for E Business Suite (it has not used both in the open community).

  • Oracle form functions and procedures in the APEX, how?

    I'm working to recreate in the APEX, already existing read only forms in Oracle Forms. Report features interactive APEX among other things, in fact worth as well as to target a different audience than utilizies versions of Oracle Form. Versions of Oracle Forms use a lot of pre and post query triggers, PLSQL functions.

    In Oracle Forms that places, these functions can be found in the "Units of program" section of the form. A feature typical of this kind, based on a particular Mission ID route, collecting names of regular passengers, is shaped with a comma and a space after each of them, in a single string that is returned and displayed the list of passengers of a line.

    I have all of this written code so I can move most of the main request of the Oracle form in an interactive report. These functions and triggers called in the form of the "Units of program" section of the Oracle form rather than stored in the database schema in a package, where they would go inside the APEX? Can I create a 'shortcut' in the APEX and call it from the interactive report "Source Région"? I can create the PLSQL function at the level of the region of the interactive report or page level? Or, my best bet creates a package that is stored in the database, all these functions and/or proecedures I might need the original form of Oracle?

    Some advice would be greatly appreciated.

    RLBickham wrote:
    I don't think I've been pretty clear in the description of the specific thing I want to do, simply, it does not reach the level of forms of conversion of the APEX. It is basically a problem of PLSQL function.

    I have an interactive report which is currently 90 percent of what I want however, each line, which represents a Mission may have several feet. Each arm has two places or ICAO codes attached to it. Based on the number of Mission, I want to loop through the array of leg, collect all the codes of ICAO for this Mission, put them together in 1 variable separated by a coma and add this variable to display the columns in this interactive report as the last column.

    In Oracle Forms, I have a function registered in the database, which is called in the main query. Maybe I ask a question that does not need to be asked, but anyway my question is can I put this function currently in the database somewhere within the interactive report and somehow reference it via Http, or should I just stick with set of functions and procedures in the packages stored in the database and called the conventional way?

    You could switch the function to the database and call it from the report query, but it sounds as if it were superfluous. In the report query using any form of Re: 4. How can I convert rows to columns? is appropriate for your version of the (unspecified) database.

    -----

    When you have a problem, you will get an answer faster, more efficient including information as much information as possible from the outset. This should include:

  • Full version of APEX
  • Complete operating system DB, version, edition, host
  • Architecture of Web server (EPG, SST or APEX listener/host operating system)
  • Browser (s) and version (s) used
  • Theme
  • Model (s)

  • Region/section type (s) (particularly as to distinguish if a 'report' is a standard report, an interactive report, or indeed a 'update report' (i.e. a tabular presentation))

    With APEX, we also had the chance to have a great resource in apex.oracle.com where we can reproduce and share problems. Reproduce things is the best way to solve most of the questions, particularly those relating to the layout and Visual formatting. If you expect a detailed response it is appropriate that you take on an important part of the effort by getting as much as possible with an example of the problem on apex.oracle.com before asking for help on specific issues, then we can see firsthand.

  • How to find the error in oracle forms

    Dear gurus,

    I am newbie in oracle forms. I have a form with many items. In this regard, certain elements are not met. These elements are filled from four different cursors depending on certain conditions. for example,.
    IF <condtion1> true then
     open cursor1;
       populate all the items  from cursor1 columns
    elsif <condition2>true then
       open cursor2;
        populate all the items  from cursor2 columns
    elsif<condtion3>true then
        open cursor3;
       populate all items  from curso3r  columns
    elsif<condtion4>true then
        open cursor4;
       populate all items  from cursor4  columns
    This cursors are written to the database level.
    Now, I want to know what slider elements become values.

    My TL told me to find this, put messages. But I don't know where I put message [or in forms or cursors?]. Is an easy way to find errors in its present form?

    Thank you all.

    My TL told me to find this, put messages. But I don't know where I put message [or in forms or cursors?].

    You can add messages to your forms code in your conditional statement. For example, using your code sample:

    IF  true then
     open cursor1;
       Clear_Message;
       Message('Using Cursor 1');
       Message(' ');
       populate all the items from cursor1 columns
    elsif true then
       Clear_Message;
       Message('Using Cursor 2');
       Message(' ');
       open cursor2;
       populate all the items from cursor2 columns
    elsiftrue then
       Clear_Message;
       Message('Using Cursor 3');
       Message(' ');
       open cursor3;
       populate all items from curso3r columns
    elsiftrue then
       Clear_Message;
       Message('Using Cursor 4');
       Message(' ');
       open cursor4;
       populate all items from cursor4 columns

    If your form works and you troubleshoot just a mistake, I wouldn't recommend restructure you your form. If the current process is inefficient or not, it has been tested and proved to a certain extent. Unless the form has many problems, I would keep the way it is and just solve the problem at hand! :)

    Is an easy way to find errors in its present form?

    You don't mention your version of Oracle Forms, but rather than adding messages to the code; I recommend that you use the debugger to step through your code forms so that you can see the enforcement code that is causing the problem. (Note: the debugger of forms can only step through you the code in the form.) If your cursors are in a data base/package procedure - all you will see is the call of this procedure of database/package - not the code in the procedure/package).

    If you are using Forms 6i, simply add the "break." part of the code you want to debug. If you use Forms 9i or higher, then you will need to be able to run your form from forms manufacturer; which requires a configuration to make it work. Once configured, simply select the line you want to break the and press F5 for enabled or disabled a breakpoint. Then run your form by using the option 'run Debug form '.

    If you really want to reegineer your form to use a query in the From Clause, take a look to forms: how - a block based on a query FROM Clause for more information on the query from Clause.

    Now, I want to know what slider elements become values. The link Christian listed is also a very good article on using queries in the From Clause.

    Hope this helps,
    Craig B-)

    In your registry, there would be a FORMS_PATH variable, add the folder (where you keep your fmb, mmb, pll and olb files) to this variable for registry and restart the forms generator.

    Dear,
    Oracle forms can operate on Wondows CE 5.0? We want to be the application running in Windows CE and connect to Oracle DB lite, it is possible that what I found so far to build this application using VB.

    Thanks for your time.

    In general, we don't document what we do not support. In most cases, we will document only what "do us" certify and support. See customer management representation statement forms for the list of browsers certified on the client and Java execution environments.

    For Forms 10.1.2:

    http://www.Oracle.com/technology/products/forms/htdocs/10gR2/clientsod_forms10gR2.html

    To the best of my knowledge, there is no plan to certify the forms on any scaled down of Windows platforms (for example, Tablet) or mobile devices.

    ====

    A correction to the above – if you want the table to be modified/inserted you cannot drag and drop as a master-detail, because the detail will be in read only mode.
    Instead first drag the captain and drop as a form of ADF
    Then, drag the details below and drop it as Table of ADF.

    You can drag since the operations node in the data control the operation createInsert to add a button that will add a new empty row to the table.

    Hello

    I recently installed App Server 10.1.2.0 on a new machine.
    Copied all my forms on an appropriate directory. Implement formsweb.cfg to allow them to perform and attempted to run them.

    Unfortunately, I'm stuck at loading Java Applet and screen in the status bar at the bottom that it is said:

    And in addition, he mentions class without proxy, so now by browsing the forums it was suggested that put the details of proxy in jinitiator, what I did, but it made no difference either.

    Can someone suggest something else please?
