If you do this, you must let your computer 24/7, be connected to the Internet and open your e-mail program. If you want to do this anyway, the link below will show you how do it. One thing I would say is that where it says to create a rule and change you it to check for all Messages, and that the rule for the people in your address book. Otherwise you will answer Spam as well and could end up in an infinite loop of rebounds.

  • Application of office messages frequently fails to deliver messages to Android phones

When you send an SMS messages to an Android user via the 'Messages' application on the desktop, I often get an error "not delivered". Sometimes, if I connect to my Apple account in the section 'Preferences' from the Messages app and then reconnect it starts working again, but sometimes it doesn't. But ultimately it fails then a few days later (I left my computer running continuously). I can contact the person via SMS with my iPhone constantly. So there seems to be a bug with the desktop application since I understand that the Office uses the phone to send the SMS message to the Android device.

Is there anything I can try to get the desktop application of Messages to work with Android 100% of the time?

  • Use Messaging to send automatic 'out of Office' message

I've noticed that some people have a function with their messaging system that automatically sends a message back saying that they are 'out of office' or 'not available '.  I was wondering if I could do a similar thing using Mail on my iMac?

    Nick

I typed 'auto response' in mail help on my computer, and here's what I found:

Automatically reply to or forward messages

Mail must be open before you can automatically send or reply to messages. If you want to send automatic replies when mail is not open, as when you are on holiday - check with your e-mail account provider.

Choose Mail > Preferences, and then click rules.

Click Add rule, and then type a name for the rule.

Indicate if any of the conditions must be met for the rule to apply.

The conditions that determine which messages automatically meet or before.

Select options from the pop-up menu "perform the following actions.

Forward messages: choose Message forward in the first menu drop-down, and then enter the email addresses where you want to receive forwarded messages. Click the Message, and then enter the text you want to include with the message. For example, you might explain that you automatically transfer of messages.

Reply to messages: choose "Reply to Message" in the first pop-up menu, click on 'Reply message text', then enter your answer. Mail includes the full text of the original message in your reply.

    Click OK.

  • Cannot automatically download new messages and auto answer with out-of-Office message must manually check for new messages, so he can do

I use Mozilla Thunderbird 31.3.0. I know how to create a message filter, to implement a response message automatic, but impossible to get Mozilla to automatically download new message and auto reply with the message in the filter, unless I have manually check for new messages, this is the only way to make it work. I looked online and can't seem to find an answer to that particular question. According to everything I found, I have the right boxes checked in the server settings: automatically check for new messages at startup, check new messages, check for new messages every x amount of minutes. It's one thing to have leave my computer and open Thunderbird for this works, but having to manually check for new messages get the AutoReply to work defeats the whole purpose of having an automatic response, because I use them for vacations, holidays, etc. I wondered if there are security settings that cause this problem, but if so, I don't know what changes to do to them. Thanks in advance for any help. It drives me crazy.

I find it a little odd that Thunderbird does not mail on the calendar, you may have an add-on or antivirus program that prevents this.

Now shift while you start Thunderbird will begin with disabled modules to check if the messages are automatically.

By air is to the right, use the autoresponder Verizons. This link might help with this http://www.verizon.com/support/residential/internet/highspeed/account+tools/email+tools/questionsone/85621.htm#
You say that not having is not such a context in Thunderbird is something that needs fixing. This idea comes across because Outlook has such an option. what most people don't know of it only works with Exchange server. There is no "vacation response" in the specifications of the mail server so every server implements differently.

As all cars have a radiator, you can't take any radiator, and simply put, they are subtly different even if they perform the same purpose. Goes same for stakeholders of vacation, they perform the same function, but they differ between brands of e-mail server software.

Thunderbird leaves the server end to expose the feature, because they are really the only ones who understand what they were doing. Outlook exposes the option and especially greys out.

Import messages into Windows Mail from Outlook Express
    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/import-messages-into-Windows-mail-from-Outlook-Express

    Another option:

Create a folder on your desktop, and then in Outlook Express open the folders with the messages you want to save. Highlight a message, and then Ctrl + A will highlight all (or Ctrl-button down while you select only messages you want), now, drag and drop them into the folder on your desktop.

Copy these files to the Vista desktop. Create folders in Winmail opener and then drag the Office message in WinMail files.

  • Using Windows Vista Mail v6 and IE 9 I am unable to receive attachments to e-mail messages.

I tried sending my office message content is delivered without accessory.

My computer's automatic update enabled IE 9 update would disable this function?

Installation of IE9 break some features in WinMail (see www.oehelp.com/OETips.aspx#15), but if you go to Windows Update and get the latest updates for IE9, while these characteristics are fixed.  Then go back and set to update again and see if that fixes the problems.

  • Icon text Message on the home screen blackBerry Smartphones

    Hi all

My Torch 9800 has developed a weird problem with the text on the home screen icon.  When I tap on it, my Office messages open instead?

He used to work fine when I got on the phone.  The only way I can write a text is to select a contact in the contacts list, and then select send a text message to this person.  All works, but is a pain.  I'm sure it is just wrong to finger and a parameter has been changed from somewhere but where.

What determines which opens when you tap on an icon?

    Any help would be great.

    Welcome to the forums, haysys!

Have you tried a hard reset on your device?  With the unit powered on, remove the battery for a few minutes, then replace.  See if you are then able to access the text normally.

Choose accounts and select the account you want to have your out of the Office for the value.

  • Connection app mail to email to colleagues

    Hello

in my work, we use IBM Lotus Notes as an e-mail client. There is an interesting feature. Each user can set other users to see their mailbox. So when this person is going for vacation, the other person can easily connect to his mailbox and can see all the messages. So when our customers send an E-Mail to someone who does not work at this time here, he always gets a response. There is the possibility to implement "office" message but it's not good in the newspaper to another account.

Is somehow possible something similar in Mail.app?

    Thanks for any idea

Mail application is just an email client. You can configure some email (POP, IMAP, or Exchange) accounts you have the credentials for.

Lotus Notes is off in his own little world... Notes is not an e-mail program, Notes is a distributed database. It may look like a platform of messaging for you, but it's not...

Talk to your it Department of your options.
