I HAVE A PROBLEM WITH MY PRINTER.  ERROR "MISSING OR DOESN'T HAVE A PRINTHEAD" THIS POSTER.  I TRIED EVERYTHING YOU SAID TO RECONCILE PROLEM, BUT THE ISSUE HAS NOT BEEN RESOLVED.

I ALSO HAVE A PROBLEM OF SCANNING.

WHEN THE PRINTER SAYS 'SCANNED TO E-MAIL', HE NEVER REACHED MY E-MAIL ADDRESS.

PLEASE NOTIFY.

I saw your post on the errors and issues you have with your 6600 Officejet and would like to offer you my suggestion.

First of all, we would like to work on the problem of material with the print head, as this could potentially cause your scan to E-mail problem.

    It is also a basic liquid pigment.

    Scan stops mid scan and freezes. Troubleshooting program says "user cancelled" during the test, but I didn't touch system. All connections are fine. uninstalled and reinstalled the drivers. Printer restarted several times. Help!

    Thanks for posting on the HP Forums!

    I should be able to provide a few suggestions that may help solve the problem.  I suggest a copy of the picture running on the printer. It is a good way to ensure that the material is OK and the printer can scan the document and print it.

    Another thing, I suggest you is to ensure that the printer becomes full power.  It may seem silly, but when the printer performs a scan or copy, it pulls in a lot of power.  If your printer is connected to a surge protector of power that he cannot get the power it needs. I recommend the printer on the wall directly.  This may be a temporary connection but is a good way to make sure that the power is not a factor.

    You can try scanning from another program such as Microsoft paint to test the software.

    1. Open the start menu on your computer.
    2. Start typing 'Paint '.
    3. Your computer should start the search for 'paint '.
    4. Open Paint.
    5. Click the "files".
    6. Click on "from a scanner or camera.
    7. The image must go to paint.

  • Officejet6600: HP6600 poor print quality

    Hello

    I'm contiinually having to perform the function of print head cleaning before I can print with my Officejet 6600. Once the cleaning is finished, the print quality is fine. Before market more printing is smudged, blurred, or missing, and is often black only (i.e. without dye).

    The printer is around the age of 6 months and had this problem of 1 day (I know, I'm lazy). I seem to be consuming almost all of my ink just get clean print heads.

    According to the HP tool, the print heads are ok. The cartridges do not seem to be a vent in them, this correct?

    I would appreciate any suggestions, please?

    Very strange!

    I was about to call HP support Australian. I had to make some impression so used the 6600 and it now works perfectly. I used it several times last week and he has not missed a beat.

    Can't explain it but problem solved.

    Lost the ability to scan so I uninstalled everything and then reinstall.  The Scan software didn't load.  Any suggestiobns?

  • officejet6600 print queue hangs up

    I have a new officejet 6600 which do not print wireless with OSX 10.6. The print queue status is 'printing' and the status message is 'copying print data' it prints seamlessly with a USB connection

    HP Print doctor referenced is not for Mac. However, I set a manual IP address, as we have, and now everything works fine. Thank you!

    A static IP address can be set using USB connectin on Officejet6600?

    None in order to set a static IP address of your printer must be on a network.

  • HP 6600 - set HARD IP address

    I know the OfficeJet6600 HP runs only under the name of wireless and normally gets an IP address from the router.

    I don't have the printer ON all the time (and here we have power outages in Maine, then the router restarts more often desirable - a good reason to keep the printer too), so that the IP attributed changes sometimes. This forces me to give up the printer and find the new address.

    My printer laser HP2100 (and the HP5280 who just died) allowed me to set the IP address to a static address, so it wasn't a problem (both had strong connections ethernet not wireless). My computer and several other devices have static IP addresses and I'd rather give the 6600 a static address. It could save a lot of time and more appropriate for my use.

    Is this possible?

    On the Control Panel printer press the arrow to the right, press Setup and then press network.

    Support for Advanced setupand then press IP settings.

    The default value is Automatic. Touch Manual and then enter the appropriate IP address. and then press done.

  • 6600 fine prints for a while, then closes and it says unable to print printer

    I have the HP OfficeJet6600, I can print for a while, and then, I get the message unable to print, I can set up my network again and it works, the calendar on / stop are disabled.  I must put in place every time I want to print, I have reinstalled several times. I use Windows 8.1 with a Wi - Fi connection

    Try using channel 11.
