  After my new account Microsoft a link to my original Skype account, I'm still able to sign into account newly merged with the old Skype account username and password. Of course, I am also able to connect to the account merged with the Microsoft Mail and as well password account.

  My question is this, is this a planned security measure? As far as I know, support faq suggested using the Microsoft account to connect to the newly merged account. The support page is in the link given.

  I thought that once the merger of Skype accounts both Microsoft, the only method to sign the merged account is using the Microsoft account only. Please enlighten me on this matter. Thank you.

  This works as expected. When you link a Microsoft account with Skype account name, you should be able to connect to Skype, either by using Skype or Microsoft account name. Two connection options will lead to the same account.

  I have this problem and it is quite ridiculous and very frustrating. My wife was using an old account of Skype that I linked to his new xbox live ID a couple of years. No problem at all for 2 years and then last week, as the Skype account was suddenly suspended. His only use of Skype is to talk to his mother abroad each week, so I tried to fix it for her.

  I filled out the form but no matter what info I get I get just an email two days later saying my data is not good enough on behalf of output. They suggested that I have create a new account and link this one instead. The problem is that I need to connect to the suspension Skype account on skype.com to untie and forcing me to use perfectly valid MS account my wife to do. This redirects to the Skype account recovery page and this circle completely stupid of pain comes to an end. I need to recover an account that I am not allowed to recover just if he can UNTIE a valid PAY XBOX LIVE GOLD account!   I have a Skype account, but do not remember the email address I used for this account. I know that I used it in the past for Skype credit and most of my friends and my family have me in their list of contacts under this name.

  I created a new account from but I would still get the old account since most of my family and friends have this account and I probably still have some Skype credit on it.

  The problem is that I don't have all the order numbers or know what credit card was used because I haven't used that account at least a year and probably more.

  To delete your Skype account and remove your Skype Skype directory name.

  You will need to follow the instructions on this link: https://support.skype.com/en/faq/FA142/

  Once you have followed the instructions on the link above, you will need to contact Support Skype client to request to delete your account entirely.

  Hello, firefox 29 and up is using a different synchronization system which is not compatible with the establishment of accounts in the old versions.

  in this case, you'd probably have to use a workaround and download the version of firefox before 28, turn off the automatic update for the moment (in options > advanced > update), bind it to the old sync account (with user name, password & recovery key) and upgraded after you successfully restore your data in this way...

  Install an older version of Firefox
  Synchronize your bookmarks Firefox, history, passwords, etc.

  2. Scroll down the menu until you see sign out.
  3. Click sign out.
  4. Then click on sign in with a different account.
  5. Then continue as usual.
  6. Enjoy using your Skype account ordinary.
