Old data in new E2 E2

How can I transfer ALL my data from my old Tungsten E2 in my new Tungsten E2?

I want that all my hourly info from 4 years, my address book and my Laridian Bible program.

Thank you

Hello and welcome to the Community Forums of Palm.

If your new E2 is brand new and never been synchronized before, just connect the Hotsync cable, make sure that you have the correct Hotsync ID selected in Palm Desktop and synchronize.

If the new E2 is used, do a Hard Reset on it first, then Hostync as above.  This article describes the different types of reset for Palm devices:

  • Whenever I call a VI I get old data with new data in the table

I selected 'clear indicators when it is called' in my properties VI, execution. Yet, whenever I call the VI, the table of data is growing. My main VI implements my USE, and then call the sub - VI, which sets up an instrument measurements, then reads the results and transmits data. I then change the UUT to the next State and repeat the same task sub - VI to get again the same measures. The main VI changes the mode of WEAR it three times, so call the sub - VI three times. The last call of the Subvi back all three sets of data together, which is OK. My problem is, when the main VI ends and I run another USE, I get the new set of data as well as the complete list of data from the previous run. I found a similar problem answered here on the forum who suggested I should 'clear indicators when it is called', and so I did. It still has not fixed my problem. Any idea?

  • How can I transfer my old data of Firefox on my new Firefox in my new computer?

My old computer died and I just took my other. After the data has been transferred to my new, I noticed that Firefox was missing. I downloaded it on the net. "I have a file called ' old data Firefox" which was created when I had problems before. How can I transfer to the new Firefox?

You can use this button to go to the current Firefox profile folder:

    See:

When you refresh/reset Firefox then a new profile is created and some personal data (bookmarks, history, cookies, passwords, data form) are automatically imported.
The current profile folder will be moved to "Old data Firefox" folder on the desktop.
Installed extensions and other customizations (toolbars, Pref.) that you have made are lost and must be redone.

It is possible to retrieve data from the "Old data Firefox" folder on the desktop, but be careful not to copy the files corrupted to avoid transporting more problems.

  • Want the old data of Firefox, old PC died, new recovery keys will remove old data on server.

I created Sync on my hard drive now unusable, with all my goodies of Firefox on it. I am now on another hard drive but when I try to set up the synchronization and recover my old data, he said that I need a recovery key. I can't get a so it generates one, but a new will apparently remove the old data that I want to do unnecessary synchronization. How to access my old data without a key?

I was and am now running Firefox 28.0 on two hard drives.

Hello, it is not possible to recover your old data sync without the recovery key, because the data is stored encrypted on mozilla sync servers and it's the only key to decrypt. If you have already generated a new recovery key and then also data on the servers was overwritten - so I'm afraid that this data is lost for good...

Start the OS X App Store, then click on the item toolbar updates. V5.6.1 pages should be available, and this will open documents Pages ' 09, ' 08 and ' 06. In messages to this community, you should always share what version specific pages and OS X that you are currently using.

  • How to add new data and delete old data from a custom text file?

    Hi guys!

Well, I'm in a bit of trouble.

I need to make a request to some GPS tools. Split data in indicators, generate coordinates (google maps format), and so it goes.

One of the functions of the systems is the calculation of oscillation of coordinates. The formula should be: latitude 1 - latitude 2 = latitude AND longitude 1 - 2 = swing longitude longitude oscillation.

Since I'm on two values, I thought: "Oh, if I connect these data in a file, I just pick up and do all the calculations part." Yes, this idea is adapted to my needs (even if it is not the best, the computer part solved my problem).

BUT I don't see a way to write the current value of the loop and erase the old results.

For example, suppose that loop 1 gave me 1.00000, 2,00000 coordinates and loop 2 gave me the coordinates 3.00000 and 4.00000. Right?

    My log file is similar to: 1.00000,2.00000; 3.00000,4.00000;

Well, it works. However, we will look forward to loop 3: coordinates 5.00000,6.00000.

If the program connects to it, I would get the chain: 1.00000,2.00000; 5.00000,6.00000; When I really need 3.00000,4.00000; 5.00000,6.00000;.

For this reason, when I apply the calculation of oscillation, it will always take the most recent value and do all the calculations with the first result (from loop 1).

Well, I wonder that there is a way to add new data to a file and replace the old values, with simple code. If anyone knows how, please respond here!

    Considerations:

    (1) I want to do it as simple as possible. My code is kind of great, and it is not appropriate to insert structures or library now.

    (2) maybe the explanation is not as simple as it is for me. Really, I couldn't find a better way to say what I need.

    (3) if someone has doubts as to my doubts, please just comment and I'll try to be as specific as possible.

    Thanks in advance!

I guess my question is why write a file just to delete.

If you pass an array of points from one iteration to another, you will have to take extra time to open the file, read the file, delete the old data, writing the new data, save the file, and then close the file.  It would be pretty much the same thing, but without having to go through the hard drive.

    Just a thought.

  • data relating to the transport of the old database to new

I created a new empty database in access, how to transfer all of my information from the old to the new? The new database contains different fields and queries - will this matter! I have information do not need but that you NEED all contacts.

You can either import it into your database name directly in the appropriate table OR you can bring to the table and then run ADD or UPDATE to place the data from the old to the new tables, the queries tables...

You will have is only if the data in your tables are distributed on several tables.  This will require a little bit more work through queries, but it would be still achieved as indicated in the first paragraph.

  • Old data to the new phone

I have a Centro (sprint), which is synchronized including my calendar, contacts and photos. I recently had my accident of screen on my phone, so I sent the same brand of phone in replacement. When I try to synchronize the new phone, it creates a new (I guess what is called hotsync id). I am trying to get the data from my old phone (including photos and I hope txts and Memos) on to the new. When attaching the new phone with USB is there anyway I can tell Palm Desktop to crush the new data with the old data of phones phones?

I think this would be a task very easy, but for some reason it isn't. Any suggestions?

What kind of phone you're updating since?

It would be preferable to follow the guide of Palm for the update to a new device:

Procedure for upgrading from a previous Palm for a new One: http://kb.palm.com/ and enter 12926 (general Upgrade guide) or 45175 (upgrade to Centro) in the "solution ID:" box (lower-right).

  • transfer data from your old computer to new computer. Palm Desktop app where led apps?

    Help, please

I backed up my old files from my Palm programs out of my old computer database

(The hard disk and the computer went wrong, and then he died.)

Question: which directories and where do I copy the old data, so that I can hotsync?

I hotsynced once, but I do not see programs in Hotsynce led screen, where

you select handheld to crush desktop or synchronize files.

Question: In the screen sheath, which directory it seeks for programs?

    I have a Sony Clie PEG-SJ22 Palm Desktop v4.1, Mgr Hotsync 4.1.0.

I spent 4 days on re - install the palm software, to solve the problem of usb hotsync.

I'm finally able to hotsync, thanks to previous assignments and hours of re - install different versions

    the palm software.

Any help on the issues, would be appreciated.

    Thank you.

Your data directory will usually be c > program files > palm > [user folder, usually an abbreviated version of your hotsyncid]

Are they missing conduits for third-party applications?  If so you will need to track down and reinstall them... most applications that have a duct must run a desktop installation routine to install the duct.

  • during an update lots of my profile folder has been put in a folder on the desktop marked the old data. How to restore this data file

During a bet to update, automatic update of windows has started and some how much my profile data has been removed and stored in a file on the desktop. There is a simple and easy way to restore this folder from the current firefox?

You can use the contents of the Old Firefox Data folder to "roll back" the refresh, but this involves several steps. It's probably even faster than the recovery of individual files and load those into your new profile.

Check in the folder 'Old data Firefox' update adds a folder with a random semi name on your desktop. If there is only one, that probably has your old settings and Add-ons. If there is more than one, you'll want to work with one who has been updated recently.

Once you have identified the profile folder, that you want to restore, here is my "old profile resurrection suggested procedure:

    Overview

Here are the steps described in more detail below:

    1. Create a new Firefox profile
    2. Delete all of this profile folder
    3. Copy in all of the old profile folder

Create a new profile for Firefox (Windows)

Exit Firefox completely and start up in the Profile Manager by pasting the following in the Windows search, or the Run dialog box by pressing ENTER:

    firefox.exe -P

Note: any time want to switch profiles, exit Firefox and return to this dialog box.

Click on the button create a profile, give it a name like OldSettings and skip the option to change the location of the folder. Select the new profile from the dialog box, and then start Firefox.

Open the new profile folder in Windows Explorer

Firefox in the new profile should look like a new installation of the plant. Open the troubleshooting information page by using either:

    • button "3-bar" menu > "?" button > troubleshooting information
    • Menu help > troubleshooting information
    • type or paste everything: in the address bar and press Enter

In the first table, click on the view file"" button. Firefox will launch your new profile folder in Windows Explorer.

This folder open, switch back to Firefox and get out by using either:

    • "3-bar" menu button > button "power".
    • (menu bar) File > Exit

Firefox is closed, the profile folder must be front and Center, or you can activate it by using the taskbar.

Copy old data instead of new

In this new profile folder you just popped open - NOT the one on your desktop - select all content (you can use Ctrl + a) and delete (you can press Delete on the keyboard).

Leave this window open, open or switch to your folder of old data of Firefox. Consult your old profile folder. At this level, you should see a folder named bookmarkbackups among other things.

Select all (Ctrl + a) and copy (or right-click > copy or Ctrl + c).

Switch to the empty profile folder in another window and paste (or right-click > paste or Ctrl + v). This may take a few minutes because some files are large.

    Launch Firefox

Firefox should start in this 'new' profile with the old resurrected profile data. Success?

  • recover the old data synchronization

    Hi all

I bought a new laptop, but when I connect anything in sync gets synced so I lost all my passwords!
I don't have the key to recovery from the old account to sync. I am able to get my old data sync, which are very important for me.

    THX

Hi dionix, if you are referring to a recovery key, this means that you use sync 1.1 ("the old clock"). Mozilla stopped and decommissioned its old sync infrastructure and servers late September - this was communicated by product and ad to https://blog.mozilla.org/services/2015/07/31/shutting-down-the-legacy-sync-service/
old data sync will be gone if you don't have not improved again sync in time.
You can also transfer data from your old device update to the new synchronization where in Migrating it manually...

Hi Ken, Firefox will not start now, complaining that it cannot find its profile, or it starts up, but data are incomplete?

Here is a procedure to return to your prior to refresh the data. It takes 5 minutes, but it's probably faster than the recovery of individual data files and those in a new profile from loading.

  • How to restore old data from Firefox on Windows 8?

I just got a new pc that runs Windows 8. I had saved my old Firefox data so that I can restore my favorites and Add ons. However, once I had installed firefox on the new pc, it wouldn't show a new folder in which I could copy my old data. Refreshing, did not help because, when I re - open Firefox, it does not give me the option of using the old data. Help, please!

I actually managed to fix it myself by going to the Profile Manager and create a profile. If anyone has the same problem, happy to help.
