Old school Zoom tool

OS X 10.6.3

Is it possible to restore the 'old' zoom drag marquee tool in Photoshop CS5? The new dynamic tool sucks.

In the toolbar options, clear the check box Zoom chinless.

Is it possible to adjust the image to a size smaller than the smallest default size allowed? Thanks for your help!

I am not 14 as being different from 11 regarding the resizing of the workspace Pan and Zoom focus frame (by clicking on - or +). And I have not found a way to adapt a framework of development less than its smaller default size allowed using the-. or otherwise.

  • DIFFICULTY zoom mode Prototype - add in the zoom tool

    Hello

As much as I love XD and don't mind the switch between mode creation of prototyping <>, useful and used tools like the zoom must be more prototyping mode

Its a complete question UX is not not able to zoom accurately in prototyping mode. You are often zoom in tasks of forms / vile transparent to connect interactions.

There is not enough good remove tool expected and common, especially consider that your users are more likely of arising from the use of drawing apps like sketch or the Adobe range, where 'Z' to bring out the zoom tool is next with 'space' to move the canvas also constantly used tools.

Correct this glaring problem. Sorry no mood polite, always had problems with Adobe kill the best vector drawing App never Freehand... lol... RIP.

Good news! You pouvez use the Zoom tool in Prototype mode right now, even if it is not in the toolbar - hold space, then press on and hold cmd. As long as you hold these keys down, Zoom mode will be active. (This tip works in design mode too! (And most other applications Adobe.)

Note: If you have just upgraded to 10.12, the new keyboard shortcut to OS nationally for Siri will interfere with that. We are working on another shortcut to work around this problem, but in the meantime, you can change the system preferences to disable Siri or switch to another global shortcut.

    Hope that helps!

  • My zoom tool will zoom in, but there is no way to reduce them.

  • Tools of camera Raw editor (version 9.3.1) all act as Zoom tool

So after an image or two, whenever I open a new RAW file and click on one of the tools (pipette, selective editing tool, etc.) they all act as if I clicked on the Zoom tool. I click on the zoom, zoom in on the image to zoom back, and then click a new tool and when I commit to this new tool, it just zoomed in and out.

I have to close Photoshop and restart my whole machine until it stops.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks for the update.

Suggest make you in Photoshop preferences > file handling > camera raw > uncheck 'use the graphics processor' > restart Photoshop and then check out.

  • Hand/zoom tool of Photoshop appears not to when you press space/command - need help to restore...

Lately, I've lost my hand tool in Photoshop, while the editing tool remains on what is selected in tools, for example, I'll select the pen tool and while working normally I'll press the space bar which is what I used to get the tool to hand over the past 30 years, but now nothing, the tool remains the same and I have to physically move the cursor on the hand tool in the tool palette to get the hand tool. This slowed my productivity considerably. I looked in preferences, but everything seems normal, zoom brush is selected which is what I would get with selection space more order, but now even that does not work... I must go back to the tools palette and select the zoom tool, or use the 'Z' shortcut for the zoom tool. Let's just say my keyboard shortcuts when working do not work, the shortcuts to the tool as 'Z' and 'P' or ' work to get the tools, but it's not ideal. Someone has an idea of what happened or how it can be restored to normal? Latest version of Photoshop 2015 Creative Cloud edition.

    Hi Ken,

It might be possible that there is another program running in the background that use the same keyboard shortcuts.

Would you suggest to close all other running applications (except Photoshop) and then check if it works.

  • How to "convert it" for MS Word or Excel on the right side as it allows to be? It is hard to find, and why you buried the zoom tool?

The new update is already a PITA. I paid to be able to convert PDFs to Excel or MS Word and allows it to be on the right side of the pdf document. The only way I found was to go to the Adobe online. There must be a way faster and more convenient to convert. Then, I use a lot the zooming in and out tool. How do we get this tool on the Ribbon? With the upgrade, I have to go to the view tab, and then click the zoom tool. I found a dynamic zoom and it's good, but I wish the zoom on the Ribbon for quick access.

    Hey yvette58,

Could have closed the tool on the right side pane. Please press (SHIFT + F4) to get that back.

In addition, you can right click on the toolbar to add zoom tools there.

Let me know how it goes.

    Kind regards

  • Why the Pan & Zoom Tool cannot start with the frame using photos

I used the animation panning and zoom in Microsoft Movie Maker - and want the same ease of use in any other program (I find that he does a great job of a soundtrack placement and text/image) see options from the menu below... I purchased Premiere Elements after watching a short video of the pan & zoom tool - but now I'm trying to use it it falls way short.

Y at - there a way for me to select the whole photo as the starting frame – in the screenshot below that frame 1 will extend to the entire photo, so I'm going with a cropped image. I want the full Frame of the photo and then be able to zoom and pan in the direction of faces - while I can still do it with the cropped image I lost part of my picture and the context it provides.

    Thanks for the reply.

Specific number use the Pan and Zoom tool Workflow and image in this workspace size...

Looks like we are together on the proportions of the image stills must match the format of the project settings.

And, we are together on the definition of the project preset. On these two points?

If so, fatter and larger people should not occur if you are taking a 1280 x 720, 16:9 and resizing 1920 x 1080 16:9 or vice versa.

Both have a 16:9 image aspect ratios and should be used in a 16:9 project to get what you want.

Where you can get in problem resizing of stills, is when you are in the process of resizing from always 3:2 or 4:3 format still image 16:9 format.

Then you must consider "cropping" instead of a straight resizing as done in the process multiple files in Photoshop Elements.

Are we together on the above date? If this isn't the case, I'll clarify what needs to be clarified. If you're OK with the above, then consider.

    1. create one without distortion, yet which has a 4:3 or 16:9 format.

2 take it without distortion even in a 4:3 or 16:9 project, respectively.

If necessary, I'll go with this new with screenshots.

Please let me know. I want to how to use 946 x 768 after appropriate cropping.

    Thanks for this looking again.

  • How to access the loupe/marquee zoom tool in reader XI?

The subject says it all, really.

    Richard

The keyboard shortcut is the same as in most of the applications (Windows):

    CTRL + [zoom]

    CTRL - [zoom out]

use the + /-on the numpad.

If you do not have the Zoom tool in your toolbar, you can add it using view | Show/hide | Toolbar items | Select Zoom &.

  • Impossible to use the Zoom tool to fix the magnification sizes different from those predefined pages

Hi, I am trying to use the Zoom tool and 'Set the magnification' on my Dreamweaver CS5.5 to view my pages at different magnifications when you work on it. My problem is that I need to use sizes other than these sizes available in the magnification level list predefined (for example, which are 100%, 150% or 200%). These are those that arise in the context menu of zoom. The dreamweaver tutorial says I need to type in the size, I want (for example 115 or 130%) in the 'text zoom' box and it will then apply that the size of the page, but the box won't let me edit any size is currently in it. I can't replace or delete any predefined size is in the box or do something to change the zoom preset levels! I would really appreciate help with this thank you

I just tested it in Dreamweaver CS5.5 on Windows and Mac. You can change the value in the text box Zoom on a Mac only. It does not work on Windows (don't know why).

The only solution I can suggest is to use the tool magnifying glass to drag around the part of the page that you want to review.

For what it's worth, the Zoom text box so the Magnifier tool has been removed from the CC of Dreamweaver. You now zoom in/zoom out as on a browser using keyboard shortcuts (Ctrl / Cmd + and Ctrl-/ Cmd-).

  • Control how the zoom tool

How can I change the way my zoom function work? I recently updated my Windows 8 operating system. With the zoom tool selected, I used to be able to click and drag to the right to zoom, click and drag to the left to zoom out. Currently, I pre-select which direction of the zoom I want to use. Please notify.

Unfortunately, windows 8 has problems with the graphics cards and photoshop.

(graphics cards in general, not only with photoshop)

What kind of graphics card do you have?

Have you installed the latest updates for your graphics card in the machine, that is to say Nvidia or AMD Radeon?

(not through windows as these drivers are generally obsolete)

  • Define increments Zoom tool?

Hey gang, I'm searching through the preferences and I don't see an option for this, so I thought I would put my request you all. What I'm trying to do, is to find a way that I can specify the percentage that each [ctrl + /] will zoom actually by. In simple terms, I want that my zoom tool for always zoom in or out in increments of 50%. This isn't a big problem, I just find often wonder if I can find a way to define it. I am aware that I can go in the lower left corner to type in a specific zoom level, but I'm looking for a shortcut. Running CS5.

    Thanks for reading!

No way to change those increments as far as I know. The keyboard selects just up or down of the members of the list that you get when you right-click on a document with active Zoom tool.

Keep in mind what have zoom "brush" option, in which you can use your mouse to quickly set the zoom by dragging it on the screen. And you also have the ability to adjust the scroll wheel of the mouse to zoom the screen - I think that the increases that are smaller (10% if the memories are good). There is also the smooth zoom you get with OpenGL, the assets of the Zoom tool and click and hold the mouse pointer.
