  • Is it possible to change the opacity of the brush?

    Let me explain.

I just got creative cloud for a project I'm doing. Keep in mind that we are on a budget relatively tight-it is a school project, but I'm not even in high school yet. Therefore other alternatives are out - I change NOT programs.

Well, I animate (or at least I'll learn to) in the style of hand-drawn animation. I don't like the way the computer moves the forms for me with interpolations. My main problem is with messy frames sketch - I can't do very well with the pen tool. Here is an example I did in Paint Tool SAI:

    stupid flash.png

It's the difference between the use of pencil and pen-and-pencil PEN left, to the right. Even if it looks pretty good, it is hard to do and is not good. That would make things MUCH better, it's, as I was told somewhere, I was able to calm down the opacity of the brush. In this way, I could sketch as I do with the tool marker on SAI and it would be just as good. I use the latest version of Flash. Please help me! UNU

Select the fill color, and then type the alpha level to use.

  • Number keys do more change opacity in the Brush tool.

I have always used the number keys to set the opacity of the Brush tool.  All of a sudden it now flows, not affect opacity.  At the same time this functionality has changed I started having to click a mask for the [] keys change the size of the brush.  I used to be able to change the size without selecting the mask.  I inadvertently change some setting?  I'm using CS5 12.0 x 64 on Mac in 10.6.8.  Thank you!!!

You're probably mode airbrush-style. There is a switch in the Options bar.

  • Problem with the opacity of the brush?

For a reason, even when I chose one of the default (i.e. hard around 9 pixels) brushes, the brush strokes have a transparent look.  The opacity of the layer is set to 100%, as is the opacity of the brush. The layer is also set to 'Normal '.  I tried to change some of the settings of the brush, but nothing works. Any suggestions?

Try to reset the Brush tool and also check in the settings of the brush and sure to keep these settings for all the brushes is not checked.

  • PSE9 (mac) - lack of opacity of the brush

    Hello!

I do not often use the Brush tool, but thought it was the best tool for what I try to do, to be held in some forms of brush that I downloaded and use them to brighten up a picture.  I want just the brush shapes to superimpose the image in solid form, with smooth edges, in the color of my choice, which is what I assumed would be the Brush tool.  But the problem I have is that it seems that the opacity of the brush by default has a little less than normal value, even though it says 100% opacity.  I tried all different modes to see if maybe, I got it wrong, but I couldn't understand it.  I tried to switch to the pen tool and it puts the form of brush there in its solid form, opacity 100%, but the edges are more rough, I guess because she tries to convey an appearance of type Pencil (?).

Can someone tell me please how to get just a brush to paint just exactly what the brush is 100% opacity?  Is there a way?

    Thank you!

At the far left of the options bar is a small triangle. Click on it and choose Reset tool. This also happens with the supplied brushes preloaded? If this is not the case, there must be something about brushes you downloaded.

  • Turn off the tablet of the opacity of the brush control

Hi, I have a Wacom Intuos3 tablet that I use with Photoshop CS5 Extended. I want to have a brush that changes size (dynamic shape) with the pressure of the pen, but I want than to stay in a solid 100% opacity.

It looks that the opacity of the feather is controlled under 'Transfer', so I'll try to disable it, but as soon as I start drawing, the transfer settings comes back on and pen opacity is turned on again. How turn off and hold it?

I used to be able to do it with Photoshop CS4, but I don't really understand this new interface of CS5 brush.

The usual cause of this in cs5 is to have the opacity of the brush Override enabled.

There are two buttons on the toolbar options, we substitute opacity and the other

    size of oveverrides.

Try to click the opacity of replacement brush off and see if it makes

    a difference.

  • Is it possible to the opacity of the brush script?

I would like to present the brush opacity to 20% of script. Did a lot of research on Google but could not find a clear answer. Is this possible?

On a Mac with Photoshop CS6

Auditor of script.  The following code will create the preset.  I just tested in OS x CS6

    ref2.putClass (idBrsh);

  • Why does my opacity of the brush work?

I don't even have the brush opacity slider which should be then flow into the menu bar. Then I tried to change the opacity by pressing alt and right click then sliding my pen, but he will remain at 100%. I'm working on a windows btw.

Firstly, right click here and see if the tool reset solves the problem

If this is not successful, the next logical step would be to reset your preferences.

    To reset the preferences:

If Photoshop is already open on your screen, close (Quit). Then press and hold Shift + Ctrl + Alt (Win) / command + shift + Option (Mac) on your keyboard and start Photoshop.

A dialog box appears asking if you want to delete the preferences file existing ("settings"). Click Yes in the dialog box. The existing preferences file will be discarded and a new one will be created.

  • How can I fix the opacity of the brush mask quick?

I have a problem after you make a selection using the quick mask. The opacity of the final image, I cut out the selection is too light. I must have accidentally changed something in the settings because I never had a problem with the front brush. But I don't know what I did. I made sure to adjust the opacity and hardness of the brush. And even if the red brush seems to have good opacity, the end result is the same. Is there a way I can 'reset' quick mask/brush settings? I have attached what looks like the final image. Thank you.

I think you have misunderstood me. What seems to you had to double-click the icon of QM to open the dialog box, change the transparency color of red, default 50% to 100% black.  I should change it, because the parameter you have now is not good for man nor beast (as they say).

Suppose you start with no selection and you activate the QM mode.  Now select a black brush with its opacity to 100% (just press the zero key).  Paint on your image, and (if you have reset the settings as advised QM), you will see a red 50% where you paint.  Now deactivate QM, and find yourself with the selection.  You can choose to do with this selection everything you like.

Personally and I know agree, I'd rather have QM "Color indicates the selected area" value more experienced users.

  • size/opacity of the brush sometimes work and sometimes Don t on the pressure sensitivity

    Hello

I m using a wacom intuos 3 (latest driver) to paint in photoshop CS5 64-bit.

the size and opacity settings are set to the pressure sensitivity, but when I went to bed several times it seems to be quite random if the race is as drawn with the wacom stylus or simply with a mouse. It sometimes seems that the race don't appear at all.

here a picture for example, all the lines are drawn with the pen wacom and opacity/size located on sensitivity to pressure and approximately the same amount of pressure:

Besides the brushes appear to perform quite slow compared to older versions of photoshop, even the regular brush circle is sluggish.

the line always appears a little behind my cursor.

    My system specs are:

    Windows 7 64 bit

    I7 860 2.80 GHz

    8 GB ram

    NVIDIA Geforce 570 1280 GDDR 5

Wacom recommend a downgrade to a previous (6.1.5) of their Tablet driver version if you have intermittent pressure problems.

  • How to change the opacity of the brush

I know that I can change alpha. But I want it to be transparent. I want to, like when I draw a line, and I draw another line ontop, I'd still be able to see one below. but all on the same layer. When you do a drawing into a symbol, then you go to alpha color effect and select put the alpha to 50%, then do you the same thing with another object and then to put ontop of eachother. This effect is what I want, but by drawing and without needing to change the effects. If you still don't understand, here's a picture of what I want by simply drawing with a brush.Screenshot_1.png

Try this (unfortunately I have Polish interface):

    (1) set color and less than 100% Alpha

    (2) select the Brush tool

    (3) on the pop-up Panel "object drawing" button trick (I'm not sure this name in English)

    (4) allows you to draw

This image does not yellow-orange on my side. It seems that we have a color management problem going on here. Have you had your screen calibrated? Do you know what profile is connected to your monitor (or if a customer one has been created due to the calibration)? What you have in your color settings from the Edit menu? You have proof colors enabled in the View menu?

  • The brush opacity and superposition of difficulties

I can't get my standard brush in photoshop to fix an opaque layer 100% without exceeding an article several times, despite the opacity to the top, fade off, spacing at least and the control option of opacity for the Tablet either checked or unchecked (no work). I use a Wacom Intuos 4 Tablet and Photoshop Elements 10. I don't know the patch, if I intend to update the program soon. This is not how the brushes used to work. Is there a way to reset it or a setting I'm missing?

As a note, the brushes are are not quite as if they have a lower opacity setting. In the past, lower opacity settings would not layer on themselves, unless I started a new trait (lifted the pen / décliqués the mouse). In addition, the brushes seem to become more opaque the biggest they have a pixel size. Here are two photos to show.

It's in the middle of 'small' brush of 20 pixels. Usually, I would like to be able to work to 9 pixels or less with a solid color.

    Problem 1.jpg

And that's a much larger size, more than 90 pixels I think. I have not changed one setting other than the size of the brush. The size has been changed by using the brush size slider, not not selecting a new brush.

    Problem 2.jpg

Yet once, is there something that I miss or a way to return back to the previous behavior of brush? Thanks in advance for your time.

Sounds like the flow of brush setting has changed.

It can happen very easily using the airbrush because what would normally change the opacity

(strike one of the keys to the numbers) changes the flow when the Airbrush is turned on.

    You can reset two ways:

With the airbrush button 0 (zero) to set the flow rate to 100%

(with airbrushed off the power, press SHIFT + 0 to set the flow rate to 100%)

    or

Reset the Brush tool by clicking the small triangle facing down and click Reset tool

Brush flow is one of these parameters is not actually in the photoshop tool options elements such as the version full of photoshop, but

    It's still there, just hidden.

  • How can I fix the edges pixelated on the brush?

I saw the posts on Cmd-Shift-B and reset all the config files and so on, but I still have this ugly, seemingly intractable problem.  I do not see a method of attachment of an image, so I'll describe it and then look around for a work around.

Everything is, to the best of my knowledge and abilities, in the default state.  I just emptied all the "Adobe Photoshop CC 2015 Settings" files and restarted photoshop.  I am using the Brush tool (and most definitely * NOT * the pencil tool).  The hardness is set at 5% (or 0, makes no difference).  When I click on the mouse, I get a model of shotgun with a diameter of about 2 X the size of the brush circle, although a few pixels that carry far.  The circle seems to be the distance from 50% coverage.  What I used to get was an opacity of 0% on the full diameter, 100% opacity (cursor-limited) to 5% of a diameter and a decrease in the stretch more or less from there up to the outer limit of 0%.  So, how can I get my brush to the opacities of this semi-useless to me scattered of pixels at 100% opacity?

I would say that your layer is set to "dissolve".
