Open an image in photoshop cc (resizing)

When I open an image in photoshop cc that he used to open and fill the screen now it opens and I have to manual fill, the screen and the images are not as strong as them in camera raw how do I change back to where it was before

Hi Angel,

If your image is from Camera Raw, and is small and not strong, it may be that you changed in Camera Raw workflow options to produce a smaller image. Look at the bottom of Camera Raw:

If your workflow options do not display the correct values, you can click to open a dialog box. Ensure that "Resize to fit" is not selected in this dialog box:

Let us know if that solves your problem.

  • Open an Image in Photoshop puts a pink color on top of the Image.

    I work with the CC 2015 version of Photoshop. When I start a new image in Photoshop, everything is fine. When I open an image in Photoshop, it puts this pink color on top of images. I have a black and white image for example, and it opens in Photoshop causes the white part turn pink. Similarly just regular color images get a pink above them, as if I put a pink colored filter on top of the image. I scoured around and I can't seem to find an answer to the problem I have. Any help would be appreciated. I would like to mention that all open images mode is RGB.

    Looks like the problem fixed itself. I left on Photoshop and then re - open the photos everything was just peachy. In this case, even once, that I will remember to take a screenshot of it. I honestly don't know what could have caused this is the first place to be completely honest.

  • opening the images in photoshop

    Before when I opened a picture on my desk, it would automatically open this image in Photoshop.  Now, he opens the preview image.  I now have to drag the image to the PS icon to open it in PS.  How can I go back to where the image is automatically open in PS?

    Right click on the file type you want to open, and select 'Get Info'. At halfway in the Panel Info will be the name of the default program for the file type. Select 'Photoshop' instead and then click on 'change everything '. Photoshop will then be the default instead of the preview.

  • Opening raw images in Photoshop Elements 9

    When opening raw images in Photoshop Elements 9 (file-> open or file-> open as), the Adobe Camera Raw dialog box cannot be opened.

    Instead, I get a window with a progress bar and the text "Read Camera Raw Format".

    Then, the image opens in the Photoshop Elements Editor.

    I tested with raw images from Canon EOS 1000 d and cameras Samsung WB2000.

    I'd like suggestions on how to solve this problem.

    I run Photoshop Elements on a HP Widows XP netbook with an Intel Atom N450 / 1.66 GHz processor, 2 GB of ram and a screen resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels.

    Unfortunately you do not see the raw converter in PES 9 on the screens of less than 800 px of height, which means not on netbooks. PSE him automatically will convert for you, but this dialog box and a few others, like the advanced Downloader window, will not appear.

    Your device is supported, but not in the Elements 9, which is too old.

    First see the f.a.q.:

    FAQ: Photoshop Elements will work with my camera, or why does not open my raw files?

    The first link confirms that the 6 d is supported with the raw camera 7.3 version

    https://helpx.Adobe.com/camera-raw/KB/camera-raw-plug-supported-cameras.html

    But the second link shows that items 9 works with the newer than 6.1.

    So, be upgraded to the current version 14, or at least Elements11,

    Or you use the free solution offered by Adobe in the faq above: the DNGconverter.

    This standalone program (not a plugin) can batch convert all of a folder of your raw files to DNG raw than your Elements 9 can read and modify.

  • onClick event work not when you try to open an image in Photoshop CC2015 extension Panel

    Hello

    I am writing an extension for CC2015 which opens a panel containing the tab page layouts and a few buttons.

    I want the buttons to perform a function onClick that opens a PNG file in Photoshop, but I can't seem to get this function to work as expected.

    The main parts of my index.html for the extension that defines one of the buttons is:

    < button class = "CLASS BUTTON" id = "ID of the BUTTON" role = "BUTTON" > BUTTON NAME < / button >

    I then added a function to the event listener for the button (see below) who works on the search for the name of the id of the button:

    < script type = "text/javascript" >

    document.getElementById('BUTTON_ID').addEventListener ("click", onClickButton, false);

    function onClickButton()

    {

    var imageFile = new File("C:/FOLDER/FILENAME.png");

    docRef = app.open (imageFile);

    }

    < /script >

    This piece of Javascript above falls in this part here:

    {

    imageFile var = new File ("FILENAME.png");

    docRef = app.open (imageFile);

    }

    For some reason any image does not open the button click on with the bit above the script, but if I run this code snippet in isolation by running the following in the ESTK the PNG file opens perfectly fine in Photoshop

    #target photoshop

    imageFile var = new File ("FILENAME.png");

    docRef = app.open (imageFile);

    I tested the event listener and the onClick and everything seems to be fine here because if I replace the part app.open of the script with a simple alert illustrated under the button returns a new window with the current alert text:

    < script type = "text/javascript" >

    document.getElementById('BUTTON_ID').addEventListener ("click", onClickButton, false);

    function onClickButton()

    {

    Alert ("you pressed me");

    }

    < /script >

    If anyone has information as to where I have gone wrong here it would be great that I don't immediately see the wood for the trees.

    Thank you.

    Hi Chris,

    you mix JSX and JS, and it won't work.

    The Virtual Machine that interprets JS is the Google V8 engine, belonging to the CEF (integrated framework chrome - the HTML group container).

    The Virtual Machine that interprets JSX (Extendscript) belongs to Photoshop.

    If you say that the V8 "app.open (imageFile)" he has simply not understand.

    JSX code should belong to the JSX file, like:

    function openImage(imageName){
        app.open(new File(imageName));
    }

    and in the JS, you need to:

    function onClickButton() {
      var csInterface = new CSInterface();
      csInterface.evalScript("openImage('C:/FOLDER/FILENAME.png')", function(res) { console.log(res); }
    }

    I hope this helps.

    I bought a new computer. It runs on 64-bit. I have CS4. Since the upload on my computer, I can not open RAW images. I downloaded the latest updates.

    I have been using the 32-bit photoshop because I couldn't get my NIK filters to work in 64-bit. But I can't open one of my RAW images.  I can not open them in either 32 or 64-bit.

    I have the version 5.0.0.178 of Camera Raw.  I only know this because I see sub "in regard to spin... Camera Raw.  I can't find any filter to camera raw in adobe/plug-ins in a photoshop version. I have a huge photoshoot tomorrow. I NEED to open RAW images.  Help!  Regular support is declining for the next few days.

    If you look at this list: http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/407/kb407111.html

    You can see you need Adobe Camera Raw 4.6 or later.

  • Lightroom doesn't open the image in Photoshop CS5, but open PS CS5

    I just installed for CS5 and uninstalled CS4.

    Now, Lightroom 2.7 trying to "Edit in Photoshop CS5" Photshop CS5 does not open, but the image that I'm trying to edit does not open in PS - CS5.  Photoshop just open and image from Lightroom is not present.

    Looking at previous discussions, I tried the solution:

    1. Mac OS

    On Mac OS, try the following solutions in the order:

    Solution 1: Rebuild the Photoshop plist file.

    1. Close Photoshop Lightroom.
    2. Go to the users / file [username] / LIbrary/Preferences.
    3. Drag the file com.adobe.Photoshop.plist to the trash.
    4. Launch Photoshop. Photoshop will recreate the plist file.

    I've upgraded LR, Mac OS and MCS for all current versions

    Other ideas for LR2.7 and PS CS5 to work together again?

    Thank you

    You should try to remove the file from Lightroom preferences. It is in the same place that one but Photoshop Lightroom in the name. Also, you to update Camera Raw in Photoshop?

  • Dehaze adjustments do not appear when I open an image in Photoshop

    Does anyone else have this problem?  I make a few adjustments to LR and then put the image in Photoshop and not all changes are apparent.  This never used to happen.  I note in particular that the Dehaze function does not come through at all.

    I use the latest versions of PS and LR.

    Thank you.

    Photoshop uses Camera Raw version 8.3.0.141.  I have creative cloud, so I assumed it would always update the latest versions.  It's really frustrating me.

    Photoshop's Camera Raw 9.1 or later.

  • Opening Raw images in Photoshop CC 2015

    I have jst installed Photoshop CC 2015. Why my Nikon Raw images does not open?

    Don't forget to install the latest version of camera raw from here: install plug in Camera Raw

    In addition, do not Nikon software to transfer or modify raw files. This may cause the partial file corruption, which can prevent other software from their opening. Always directly transfer files from the card to a hard drive using a non-destructive software such as Explorer, Finder or bridge

  • When I open an image in Photoshop, I can not see the file.  The thumbnail on the right, but I do not see the image on the work area. I use Windows 8

    When I open Photoshop CS6, I can't see the image.  The thumbnail is visible on the right side and the work area shows file information, but not picture.  I've updated PS, my driver. The same goes for the jpg or RAW.

    Make sure that your drivers are up-to-date. Try to disable the GPU acceleration in preferences then restart Photoshop.

  • Open any image in Photoshop desaturates and it darkens

    Hello!

    For about the last 2 months using photoshop CS5 (I've been since purchase in Dec 11 without problems), I'll treat and images in a TIFF file or high-resolution JPEG with a color Adobe RGB 1998 in Lightroom 3 or Capture Pro 7 profile, open in Photoshop with a work area and of proof preview space Adobe RGB 1998 and the image appears darker. I can fix by adding a layer of saturation, (+ 28 Saturday) a 10% of brightness curves layer and a layer of contrast (contrast-15). I then save the image and open it again in bridge or lightroom one, whether or not I have flattened, the image then opens in other programs with the same questions that photoshop has given it, i.e. darker, more varied and less saturation. My solution was to open in bridge, then open in photoshop from here for all my work of editing, and then opened in lightroom and correct color/curves/sat problems. Not a great work around and incredibly tedious! Help!

    This of course also affects my images when I opened the high resolution through bridge as dealt with by Capture or Lightroom then use Bridge Image Processor to export as adobe low resolution 1998 - all exit etc darker.

    I run the programs on a Macbook Pro 2009 model, vs 10.8.4, and my screen is calibrated regularly.

    Thank you

    Jess

    Looks like you have not used Adobe RGB as the specification of the target for your calibration of the monitor, but rather a custom RGB configuration based on a whitepoint 6500 k or something like that. Could also be a bad profile. In any case, before you spend endless hours trying to hunt ghosts, it would be better reset the settings of your monitor and the factory default color, and then create a new calibration from scratch.
