  The second page is similar to the first page, but it shows a list of subitems from another table in the same database using the item_id. The item_id and nom_element are called in the second page here:

• That Windows Explorer open with its extended file tree.

  Is buried the record I work with several layers to the bottom of the tree (Documents > My Documents and so on).  I go immediately by putting the folder in Favorites, but which expand the file tree itself.  Is there a default setting that would make the Windows Explorer opened with its file tree developed to the level that I specify - either the level displayed when I close the program?

  What your request is what I get on my machine.  So, I sailed to C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32, click Favorites on the left side, click right and choose "Add current location to Favorites".

  What it gave me was SYSTEM32 in my list of favorites, and when I click it it only opens the right pane to this place.

  OK, so for your problem, it doesn't not self-expanding.  You can change this quite easily in the Folder Options.  Open something like the computer, click the arrow next to organize, choose folder and Search Options.  On the general tab, you will see under the Navigation pane option to turn on the self-expanding.  You won't achieve what you want.

• Open windows Explorer to the navigation pane

  It is a small non-critical problem that was bugs me for a long time and I was not able to find any station anywhere, about it.

  I want Windows 7 to Explorer open by putting focus on the navigation pane, so I can quickly mouse scroll until I'm looking for.

  On a drive hard partition, I switch on the properties of the shortcut of/e, D:\My Documents and with libraries and personal records removed by Registry hacks, Windows 7 Explorer opens to D:\My Documents, but focuses on the files pane.

  What - not great.

  I stumbled in a forum that mentions this topic for Win 7.  Their solution is a dll file that can be downloaded on the post below.

  The bad news is you need CS6 or later version to open 6 d RAWs. (The 6 d did not support until Camera Raw 7.37.0 was created in CS6;) You can choose to upgrade (I recommend CS6 to jump and go straight to 2014 CC for $10 / month) * GOLD *...

  I hope that this question will not be too much of an annoyance. I try to have the navigation pane to show automatically when the subject reference users by their specific URL. Instead of having the link display in the upper left corner, he'S trying to automatically have the show in navigation pane.   My company has a web application on the MicroStrategy platform.

  I created a WebHelp customized to replace the out of the box using MicroStrategy and which works very well.

  We develop the MicroStrategy Office add-in for Excel for our customers.

  Once installed, a CHM file is copied to the client's hard drive.

  We want to replace this with our own custom help.

  I created a CHM file with a subject that redirects clients to our WebHelp customzied with content for the add-in.

  One of the subjects has a redirect in the header HTML following code:

  That works very well in my tests.

  Here's my problem...

  The HTML Help Viewer opens and hides the Navigation pane and displays the WebHelp (navigation pane, the menu bar and topic pane) automatically.

  But, the HTML Help Viewer still has the hide/show/hide button for HTML Help navigation pane.

  Is it possible to disable this hide or let it stand, but turn off the navigation pane?

  You should be able to disable in the settings of the window. Make sure that you uncheck the boxes search and Glossary before you uncheck the Index checkbox & OCD. (My quick test seemed to honor these settings, even when they are grey)

• How can I get Vista navigation pane to only work for a specific folder view?

  I am running Windows Vista classic folders. Significant irritation is that I want to have the navigation pane enabled for the _only_ in my computer/Windows Explorer folder. I don't want that it activated for other folders with groups of icons for programs.

  But I find that when I turn it on for the first folder, it becomes activated for all. On the other hand, if I turn it off for a program icon folder, it is disabled for all files, including the Windows Explorer.

  So, how to customize the navigation pane to make it work for a folder specific _only_?

  The other models are for music or photos or videos or Documents (and I can't remember the fifth).  They show the different columns and present different data sorted differently.  I don't think they will solve your problem.

  Some general information here is on models and how to set any records that might be of interest to you (but will not solve your problem, I think):

  Here's how to change the default template for a folder: http://www.vistax64.com/tutorials/70819-windows-explorer-folder-view-settings.html.  Default behavior is to select the model based on the first type of file placed in the folder (you must choose something).  Vista sets the folder type template according to what are the types of files in the window and the settings display window Explorer. This will show how to reset the display settings for the Windows File Explorer, disable Automatic folder Type Discovery (which is I think what you want)and increase the folder display the cache to make Vista do not forget the display settings, the folder type template, the size or the position of a specific window for when it was still closed to the location of specific path.

  It does not work with the Sub record under, Open with, open in a new tab (Internet Explorer), etc... dialog windows of type through the good File menu bar item. These don't seem to be able to have their size or their position to recall. For the latter, you can use the free program http://autosizer.en.softonic.com/ to resize them.

  Here is another article on how to modify the columns in Windows Explorer and sort in Vista: http://www.vistax64.com/tutorials/108665-column-customize.html.  This will show you how Add, Remove, move, change the widthand change the sort order of the columns in Windows Explorer in the way that you want.

• Windows Explorer expands inappropriate files, the folder that develop you to the bottom of the jump navigation pane

  When you use a left-hand Navigation pane, if there is enough of folders in the navigation pane as you have a vertical scroll bar, if you click on a folder with the mouse (to see supported in the right pane), and then expand the folder (either by clicking on the symbol + or with the arrow key) , then the left pane automatically scrolls upward as far as possible such as the folder you expanded is yet in sight at the bottom of the pane. This command deletes the folder under the mouse, where it should stay.

  This is certainly a bug, as it only happens the first time you try to extend a record of the way. After having done it once, you can scroll the navigation (left) pane so that the file in question is back in the middle of the pane, and it will expand and contract as expected, remaining under the mouse.

  Because many people seem interested in this question, I'll post some info about my recent contact with Microsoft about this issue.

  It seems that everywhere where this issue has been spoken, all someone would get to a Microsoft employee was a response to "Thank you for your comments" mat. Never the validity of the issue has been discussed or even acknowledged. I decided to write an e-mail to the responsible man, Steve Ballmer, clearly the problem with links to a procedure step by step problem, this discussion and report bug with 220 votes (at the time). I realized that Steve would never read himself, but I thought that his email should get automatically transferred to a person who can actually read.
  Two days later I received an email from a specialist in defense of Microsoft saying a "case of grace" was created and the escalation of Windows team should get in touch with me. The next day, an engineer of the climbing sent ask when would be the right time to talk about issues on the phone. So it would be quite clear with what I was talking about, I've recorded a screencast walking through that was precisely the problem.

  This has resulted in our discussions:
  1. engineers are aware of this problem.
  2. they may, or may not provide a fix for it.
  Nothing revolutionary, but it's a little more push in the right direction. In my opinion, post in this thread on the problem has practically no value. I suggest you:

  I'm tired of dealing with him, so now use XYplorer when you perform heavy file management. It stings to have to pay for a decent file manager, but that's life. If this question bothers you at all, please comment and vote on the bugand write an email.

  01/30/12 UPDATE: Finally, we have a public recognition that this is actually a bug that needs to be addressed, and it will be apparently fixed in Windows 8 beta coming. It's good news, but I know I'll use Win7 for at least a year or two, as will be much, much more. We deserve a patch for this problem in Win7. Until that happens, keep Microsoft listening to this topic.
  FINAL THOUGHTS: It is a real bug with 645
  ! votes on their feedback page, however MS didn't intend to fix for Windows 7 users. The bug is fixed in Windows 8, which means nothing to many of us who do not intend to upgrade. If this bug really gets under the skin, I suggest to install the classic interface, which has been recommended several times in this thread. You can choose to install only the feature "Classic Explorer" which corrects this bug among others and even remember the old UI for copy of file which is so nice to have in return. I used it for many months now without worries.
  In addition, for those of you who think that they find a solution to this problem by changing just a few parameters options somewhere... Thank you for your desire to help each of us, but you do not have the same problem and please do not post here your 'solution '. If you read some of the 29 pages of this thread, you will see that all the imaginable solutions has been suggested. There is a bug in the browser itself. If you are using Windows 7 and plan to continue using it, your options are 1) use the classic interface, or 2) use a third-party files, such as XYplorermanagement tool.   In Win XP, you can even click on the folder name to develop the next level of subfolders.

  In Win 7, it takes a double-click and the > is difficult to achieve.

  I want to have a tabbedPane as my main of the startup application view - with two tabs

  The first tab has a top button - which when clicked opens a new page... this new page (lets called him 'Détails' has a layout of navigation pane - so the tabs are no longer visible and a 'Back' button comes up.)

  But if use you it, you can only push one screen battery! If you want to push more screens in NavigationPane, you must remove TabbedPane from your main screen

• Inconsistencies of pesky navigation pane

  Hello. I went back through the forum and were able to find most of the answers to my questions for WebHelp navigation pane.

  TOC font, I edited whtdhtml.htm; for spacing of OCD, I edited whthost.js; for research, I edited whfbody.htm; for Index, I edited whibody.htm, and for the width of the pane, I edited whskin_frmset01.htm.

  And well who did the part much better, there are still a few anomalies, that I can't quite reconcile. For each of the three tabs (table of contents, Index, and search), I use the same font style and size (currently Times New Roman 14).

  The three issues are pending:

  • TOC values tab default to open unless it is justified to the left, so cut the image of the book. I moved the image of the page (with exclamation mark) to the right, but I can't get the image of main book to move and/or have the tab to open with her scrolled all the way to the left so that it is not cut the image of the book.
  • There are still a few inconsistent spacing between inputs and the results of these three tabs. Change the spacing between the elements of the table of contents was pretty easy (change the var gsMargin value), but I'm not sure an equivalents indexing and search.
  • The settings in the whfbody.htm file are the same as the other two settings tab: setFont ("Normal", "Times New Roman", "14pt", "Black", "Normal", "Bold", "none"), but the search results do not appear in bold.

  If all goes well, the following illustration shows a little more clearly these three questions.

  

  With our new application mainly defined for screens, shelves, etc., I really need to be aware of the table of contents, index and search entry dimensions and spacing. So, if anyone has any ideas to refine the placement of book TOC far-left, the spacing between the results, through tabs and the absence of a font in bold on the 'Search' tab I would really appreciate.

  Get a refined end control requires to modify the files whfhost.js (search), the whghost.js (Index) and whthost.js (TOC). Each file contains a function that writes the CSS and you will need to edit the CSS in JavaScript files. Follow the links for detailed information about these files.

  And I agree with Jeff: If you breadwinner and because to tablets or other active touch devices, WebHelp is not a good choice. It is not optimized for touch and images used in WebHelp may not work on all devices consitently. Give your managers a try on an iPad and see how they react ;-)
