• Since the update to IOS 9.3 my e-mail links do not work

  Since the update to IOS 9.3 whenever I try to open a link to my Google e-mail, my e-mail application freezes and the link does not work.  I tried to re-creation of the phone, but it does not work, any suggestions?

• When I click to open thunderbird but the e-mail window does not appear until the icon shows the app closed, how to fix this?

  To start thunderbird, I click on the quick start on my toolbar icon, it highlights that if beginner, then a few seconds later, returns to the closed state. No e-mail window never appears on the screen. When I check the Task Manager, thunderbird does not appear in the list of running applications, but one or two processes show running on the Details tab (one first process by clicking on the icon, and then another if I right click and try to open one of the windows in option). I am running Windows 8.1. It worked well earlier in the day, so I have no idea what happened past. Restart the PC does not help the issue. How can I get the windows thunderbird appears on the screen again? If I can't, please send the instructions to backup all the associated email and address profile information so I did not lose anything... then uninstall and reinstall thunderbird and restore all the info related to my current profile. Thank you.

  Thanks for the reply... still not sure what happened, but I ended up uninstalling and reinstalling bird t. Everything is back to normal after that. So your solution can work, but I don't have the chance to try it. My solution, but is not ideal, was effective and the problem was solved.

• E-mail links are not open now. I just get a blank white page. This just started happening, and I don't know how to correct it.

  I click on a web link in an email in gmail... Firefox opens, but there is nothing other than a blank white page. It is a new problem; It never happened before last week. I want the link to open in Firefox, and they used to. I thought that it was show a blank b/c I had not "downloaded photos" on e-mail before clicking on the link, so I tried and which seem to help, but this morning I downloaded images and then clicked on the link... nothing but a blank white page! I also rebooted new version, thinking that would help, cleared my cache, etc. but don't works do not. Please notify.

  I said in my question - I click on a link in an e-mail, and everything that loads Firefox is my home page. I have tried to set as my default browser (was already), made sure Safari is set by default as well. It happened just after your last update.

• E-mail client does not load iOS iPad 3 9.3.3

  I have model iPad 3.  64 GB version, seems to work fine except that it takes about 15 tries to get the email client to load.  When the icon is selected, it loads an image of the mail client but no data, returned to the home screen.  After about 15 times that will work normally.

• Cannot open Word attachments in Windows Mail

  I am running windows vista, but can not open Word attachments in windows mail. I get the message: "this file has no program associated with it. Create an association in the set Associations Panel.

  If I'm going to start by default/programs/associated with a file type, it is show as .doc files being associated with Word. What is the problem?

• InDesign 2014 E-mail hyperlink does not work when the interactive pdf is displayed in a tab in the browser

  When we create an interactive pdf in inDesign CC 2014, the e-mail link does not time the 'topic' and 'to' when the client opens in a browser view. Works fine when downloaded and opened in Acrobat, but most customers will use the browser method. How does one solve this problem when making the PDF, or, how does one prevent the PDF to open in a browser? There was once a "prevents the opening in the browser" in earlier versions of Acrobat, but it isn't here in xi Acrobat. Thank you, in advance!

  You can solve by the PDF, that so fine because in Acrobat, then the link is OK. You also can not prevent to open in the browser, because the browser manages how to open a PDF file. PDF included browser readers can be turned off or there are (probably) settings always open the PDF file in an external application (Adobe Reader, etc.).

  However, I also create PDF files of in Indesign (although non-interactive ones), which include hyperlinks for e-mail, and put it on our Web site. If I use Chrome and click any PDF link, it opens in the browser and hovering over an e-mail address reveals the mailto: link (subject not included, is not serious in any way) and a click opens my mail client. Works perfectly.

• Thunderbird seems to be corrupted, with a wide range of problems (e-mail folder does not open it, names of the attachments not displayed,...) CAUSE: McAfee Antivirus

  If the removal of the files in these folders solves the problem, quit Safari again and gradually put the files until you find the one at the origin of the problem:

  1. Open the Recycle Bin and select one of the files that you removed. Chose file > back up. The file back to its folder.
  2. Open Safari and see if the problem returns.
     • If the issue is returned, you have identified the add-on causing the problem. Do not use or contact its manufacturer for an updated version.
     • If the question does not return, quit Safari and put back another file.

  You mean Outlook, the standalone version and not the new iteration of Live (live.com) mail to Outlook.

  I think that the default is to open in a new tab in the last active window, but you can check it out here and replace the default value:

  (1) in a new tab, type or paste Subject: config in the address bar and press ENTER. Click on the button promising to be careful.

  (2) in the search above the list box, type or paste link.o and make a pause so that the list is filtered

  (3) double-click the preference browser.link.open_newwindow.override.external and change it to 3 and OK change

  The options are:

  -1 = apply the setting in Options > general > tabs of external links (default)
  3 = open external links in a new tab in the last active window
  2 = open external links in a new window
