Original title: I have a laptop Toshiba Satellite L305-S5894 with Windows Vista Home Premium installed (32 bit). Unable to get a backup to a flash drive.
After back back, very many updates of windows, my computer is full of problems and it is not representative of the restore points far enough back to correct. I want really to save my data and programs for flash drive (s) and then go for a full recovery of the system (return to factory). When you try to do the backup on a 4 GB USB key I get an error including 0 x 81000029. I have seen posted answers to this. Everything is included to aid Vista disk from the window which was not included when I bought my computer. Any help would be appreciated.
Hello
The following article should be useful. To use system recovery options, you have Vista installation disc. OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) repeatedly will install on the computer Windows recovery environment. To cross check if it is installed, try the following steps.
1 start the computer and press the F8 key continuously to get advanced boot menu options.
2. on the menu advanced startup options, check if the Startup Repair tool is in the list.
3. If so, select it and press ENTER.
4. If not, then you should organize a Vista installation disc. You may receive error messages when you try to perform a backup operation on a Windows Vista-based computer

I have a person how contacted me via his personal computer. The laptop runs Windows Vista Home Premium 64-bit operating system. He tries to use his web folder. The system is up-to-date on all Microsoft Patches, including Service Pack 2.
When you try to add a network folder by using the network location feature add to create the web folder a message occurs the link is not valid not a folder. However, I know a valid folder because it works on Windows Home Premium Service Pack 2 32-bit very well.
Yet once, why he does not on Vista Home Premium Service Pack 2 64-bit? Y at - he of the additional fixes that do not appear on the Microsoft Update?
I also have the same problem. The KB907306 does nothing for my system.
Any other ideas?

Can I upgrade to windows vista home Premium 32 bit on 64-bit operating system
Im running windows 7 Home premium on opus 64-bit system. Can I upgrade to windows vista Home premium 32-bit...
Hello
This is not an upgrade from Windows 7 to Vista.
It is a downgrade that Vista is the previous operating system before Windows 7 came out and you would have to BUY a COMPLETE of Vista version and do a fresh install of Vista; but before you buy Vista, check first that your computer manufacturer provides the Vista drivers for your model computer.
Microsoft sells more Vista; Try Amazon.com.
See you soon.

Repair system and recovery of Microsoft Windows Vista Home Premium (Build Date 2009)
Install us a computer with Microsoft Windows Vista Home Premium for our son system (14 years) in 2009. The system was working fine until 2 weeks when he started to grab him and restarted on its own while he was his school assignments. He tried to solve the problem itself by following the instructions you are invited by the system as insert discs and repair... Having done this, the system now we cannot access Microsoft Windows Vista Home Premium?
Please indicate how we can restore the computer system so that he could continue his school assignment? Thank you.
Best regards,
LSC

Hi, I have Windows Home Premium 64-bit. I want to create a restore point, but I get a message saying that the system restore has been disabled by the administrator of the political group contact domain administrator. I am connected with an administrator account. I have read forums that give instructions to access the system restore options: file or tabs just do not appear and there are some comments saying that the option does not exist in my version. So how the hell do I create a system restore point in Vista Home Premium?

Using the Group Policy Editor
If your edition of Windows Vista includes the Group Policy Editor (gpedit.msc) snap-in, follow these steps:1. Click Start, type gpedit.msc and press ENTER
2. go to the following branch: Computer Configuration | Administrative templates | System | System Restore
3. double click on disable the Configuration and set it to not configured.
Note: If the above setting is already set to not configured, set it to "Enabled" and click on apply. Return back the setting to not configured, then click on apply, OK.
4. exit the Group Policy Editor. If using the Group Policy Editor do not fix the problem, try the registry fix from the following.
Note: Serious problems can occur if you modify the registry incorrectly. Therefore, make sure that you proceed with caution. For added protection, back up the registry before you edit it. Then you can restore the registry if a problem occurs. I am running Windows Vista Home Premium and want to know if I can upgrade to Windows 7 using Windows 7 anytime upgrade [starter to home premium]
original title: Windows UpdateI am running Windows Vista Home Premium and want to know if I can upgrade to Windows 7 using Windows 7 anytime upgrade
No, it will not work.
Windows 7 anytime upgrade: you have Vista or XP currently installed?
If the product you have Windows 7 'Anytime Upgrade' does not allow to move from XP/Vista to Windows 7. You can buy the product at retail of Windows 7 Upgrade not the ' Anytime Upgrade '.
Windows 7 'Anytime Upgrade' is for moving from one version of Windows 7 to a higher version, such as Windows 7 Home Premium to Windows 7 Professional.
