  The process goes like this:

  1. install 11.1.1.6 on your WLS app development Runtime.
  2. create a field and, possibly, the servers managed
  3. apply patches to install ADF 11.1.2.3

  From the release notes:
  ADF 11 g Release 2 must be installed as a patch on top of a 11.1.1.6.0 existing installation execution of Application development. The steps in the upgrade 11.1.1.6.0 server to run 11.1.2.0.0 ADF applications is described later in these release notes and documented in the Guide to the administrator for Oracle Application Development Framework. • ADF runtime vs weblogic

  I'm building an adf application using 11.1.1.6.0 and to be true, everything works as expected when it is deployed in integrated Weblogic server.

  But when I deploy a server weblogic remote namely our server dev I see questions UI in some places, like ain't working on mouse click, the searchPopup of LOV LOV autosuggest does not work etc.

  Remote weblogic server is version 10.3.4.0, I noticed.

  So, any idea what should I do to solve the LOV deliver? Should I rebuild the entire application in a version of Jdev othe, or I can make a few minor changes to solve these problems?

  Well, the first thing to try is to open the application in 11.1.2.4.0 and compile everything. If you get no trial error to the application, and if you're lucky, everything works. If you get the compilation errorsfix them. You may lose some functionality or need to develop some features again in a way that work.

  Nothing else, next to the upgrade of the server can be done.

  OK, so I clicked on some button that adds a bunch of dependencies my pom.xml.  I removed the and it relies very well now.  Which still doesn't explain why all but one of the dependencies was found on the Maven repository.

  Using Jdeveloper 12.1.3 with extensions "Integration of JUnit BC4J" and "Integration of JUnit.

  I created a maven project using JUnit to create unit tests. This is dependency added to my pom.xml file in JDeveloper after configuration created the first unit test:

  I have already installed the plugin maven-oracle-sync and completing my private repository (Artifactory) as described in this document. However, when I browse my private repository I can't find the artifact com.oracle.adf:junit:jar: [12.1.3,12.1.4) and I guess that's why my build has failed.]

  Why JDeveloper add a dependency that is not included when the maven-oracle-sync plugin is pushed on the maven repository?

  I forgot to mention that, when you use the following dependency for JUnit instead of one provided by Jdeveloper, the project compiles in my continuous integration server:

  A question which has developed recently turned around to configure your Maven POM in 12.1.3, such that you can run the JUnit Tests ADF BC successfully interactively in the IDE and headless via Maven perhaps in your work of Hudson.  Out of the box, the default value that you will end up with POM will be missing two vital pieces of information and need a little extra configuration.

  Once you have created some unit tests JDeveloper will have added dependencies for JUnit extensions JDeveloper JUnit, something like this:

When l run my lm project this error: java.lang.ClassCastException: java.util.ArrayList cannot be cast to oracle.adf.view.faces.bi.model.GeoMapDataModel.   Federico - most of your questions is generic Glassfish questions that do not specifically have anything to do with ADF - I recommend that you post on the forum of Glassfish. (Or read the Glassfish documentation for things like the difference between directories and deployment/admin console).

  This is because JDeveloper uses an integrated WebLogic when you run and therefor cannot use the data source of Glassfish.

  I suggest that make you this change only when you go to deploy on Glassfish.

  We don't know, as the matrix of certification for the ADF will show that we have not tested/certified this combination.

  Hello, I hv saved cloud oracle java and database service. I hv created adf simple application in which there are 2 jsf pages only linked together. I m using oracle jdeveloper 11 g 2. so I hv created file ear for deployment in the cloud. I have deployed adf the cloud using the java console application. But after downloading applications, deployment failed. I tried 3 times, but the result was the same. I checked the logs, I got 3 warnings in the whitelist log and error in deploy newspaper. • "404" error when running ADF Applications using Weblogic / OAM / Webtier

  Our organization works on the implementation of Weblogic 10.3.5 on HP - UX 11.31 / PA RISC hardware.
  
  All is well enough to work, but we met a particular hurdle and I hope I can get some advice from people here in the forums.
  
  We have virtual hosts within the Weblogic web layer for different areas. We also have Oracle Access Manager configured to protect some web resources (to force the user to authenticate to access the page). Each virtual host is configured to use the https protocol, and we have SSL certificates installed.
  
  The problem arises when trying to deploy an ADF application for weblogic, then run it through one of these virtual servers. We want these applications to use https only. Mod_wl_ohs has also been configured to forward requests to the web layer weblogic.
  
  App deploys fine, and when you try to access the app, we are redirected to a login page by OAM, which is what we want. However, when the application starts to run, it seems that ADF is adding to the URL query parameters, and when he does this, redirecting to https, which causes a 404 error. If you manually add the 's' on the URL, the application loads and works very well.

  Please activate weblogicplugin activated under

  Server--> --> configuration--> advance.

  Enable this option and try to restart the server again.
