Oracle beta exams

Hello

I would like to know the reason for beta review Oracle.
Will it be questions to multiple choice or theory or mixture of both?

Thanks in advance
Hema

Hema,

Please look at this page,

Beta exams are free of theory (I guess, none of the Oracle exams are not subjective tests). Except the CMO, almost all tests, as far as I KNOW are based multiple-choice, objective test only. The difference between a beta test and production is in the number of questions and the duration of the examination. Also, you told your score during the final exam would be that may take some time depending on how plans UO to unroll the review of production. On the positive side, the tax would be much lower compared to a real review and once you are done with it, you can always mention that you were among those first people who wrote this paper and allowed :).

Recently, I took a review in version beta, transmitted and received the cert. However, I get no results review. Oracle is / Prometirc supposed to send the result of the examination to candidates for the beta exam?

When I had a review of the production, I got the result (with breakdown on the notes in each section) immediately after examination of th. It was several years ago, but I guess that's always current practices. Then I can know where I am weak.

You should get the report from Oracle.

  • Oracle cert exams are equal weight to each of the questions - for example 1z0-117?

Oracle cert exams are equal weight to each of the questions - for example 1z0-117?

    For example, 1z0-117 Oracle 11 g r2 SQL Tuning has 75 questions.

Some of these questions you will have to look a long explain plan

    and determine what is happening.

Other issues could be just take 2 of the 4.

    Is equal weight each question.

    Is equal weight each question.

Yes.  And each issue is 100% right or 100% false.  There is no middle ground with multiple answer questions.

  • Invitation to the beta exam VCP5-DT

    Hi guys

Recently, I finished doing my cert VCP5 and was super happy to receive an email saying I was invited to the VCP5-DT Invitation to the beta examination to VMware. I always wondered how people getting these guest, now, I know. My question to the forum is:

-Format of the examination is more than 3 hours and 225 issues

I didn't know it would be all the exam questions and not the usual 80 or more. Does anyone know the pass mark?

Are more generous VMware by the way these people who take the beta version review

-I did no preparation to the poster and the review time is on December 20

It is always interesting to try to give the review in so little time, since I have the opportunity. As the review is half price, they told me

-If I pass this will count as a real exam cert even if it is a beta version review or will I have to redo the real exam?

I am in 2 minds to go all court for review, but 20 is too early and as most reviews of VMware, you have to really know your suff you can not just luck

Others thoughts and opinions would be very appreciated of the form.

    Thank you very much

    Concerning

-Format of the examination is more than 3 hours and 225 issues

ALL of the questions. Fundamentally, VMware test the first set of questions on the beta tester.

-Anyone know the pass mark? Are more generous VMware by the way these people who take the beta version review

Is still 300, but this does not mean that this beta exam is simpler.

You have to study hard to pass.

-I did no preparation to the poster and the review time is on December 20

This could be a problem. The VCP - DT require a good knowledge of the view...

Review of Oracle 11 g RAC (1z0-058) required 2 sections to pass.

As well as reviewing DBA Oracle 12 c (1z0-060).

in any case there is still 2 sections to review RAC 12 new Oracle 1z1-068 c?

  • What is the time interval between two Oracle certification exams?

    Hello world

I'm looking forward to associate level certification in SQL and PL/SQL.

According to a link from the official website of Oracle, I need to spend the next two STAGES to win the Oracle PL/SQL Developer Certified Associate Certification. The two steps are:

URL of the location where the screenshots below (measures) is as follows:

    https://education.Oracle.com/pls/web_prod-PLQ-dad/db_pages.GetPage?page_id=653 & get_params = P_ID:162 #tabs - 1

    Capture1.JPG

    Capture2.JPG

There are to options available in two stages , so I chose to give the two following tests:

    1 (from step 1) EXAM: 1Z0-061 (database Oracle 12 c: basic SQL)

    REVIEW 2 (step 2): 1Z0-144 (Oracle Database 11 G: program PL/SQL)

    Now my questions are these:

Question 1: I intend to take the exam 1Z0-061 first (lets say in June), may therefore take the second exam (1Z0-144) at any time after appearing for the first review or is there no specific time frame in which I'm suppose to take the second review?

Question 2: will what type of certification I get if I take only one exam (1Z0-061 or 1Z0-144)? I know Oracle's official website said that in order to get "Oracle PL/SQL Developer Certified Associate Certification", I need to pass the two exams; but what happens if I chose to give only a single review at the present time? In the case giving a single review, what type of document of certification will I right to (wave speculation: right to half certification Oracle PL/SQL Developer )?

    Thanking you.

    Best regards

    Ankit

Answer 1: He is there no time limit/limit. Finally, I guess Oracle takes his retirement 1Z0-144, but which does not occur for many years.  They have not even removed from the earlier incarnation (1Z0-147).

Answer 2: Passing a review in itself does not have a certification or credential.  The only "book", you will have is the sheet of test results.

  • performance oracle 11g exam (exam 1z0-054)

    Hi friends.

I'm preparing for the review, 11 g performance would like to know is less than the oracle documentation enough to prepare for this review.

is also this review is validated by report 11g release 2?

    Please, share your experience.

    Thank you

No, it's not, it takes literally months of experience using the / play with all these new performance in 11 GR 1 material. With OEM and without it also. I was a beta version review and it was based on 11 GR 1 material, if I remember exactly.

  • The official exam before the results of the beta exams.

Hi, did anyone know if its ok to resume the review of the production even before you get the results of your beta version review?

I do the vSphere installation / set up end of the month and I want to take the real test right after, then the information is fresh in my head.

I sent and called emergency certification vmware and left messages to ask this, because I need to cancel the beta review 24 hours notice. I admit that the Ministry of education of vmware is poor to respond.

In any case, I see no problem with that and I asked the Coordinator of the education of VMware here in Sydney and he said it was OK.

I would be grateful if someone could give advice on this topic, if they have for sure.

    Regards Nicolas

  • What is the new Oracle exame which just showed on view Pearson today called - review: 1Z1-006: foundations of Oracle database?

    Hello

I just saw a new beta review show today (Thursday, 23 April) on Pearson view called

    Foundations of 1Z1-006 Oracle database?

Is this an OCA, OCP, OCÉ, or OCS?

    Is this review for teaching?

Is this review for the design.

    Help me

Interesting - looks like a completely new class of certification: certified Junior Associate - OCJA.?

  • There is possibility in the future to engage in a learning path (and relative certification) for a role of Oracle ARCHITECT (associate or professional)?

A DBA (SQL Tuning oriented), I am interested in the possibility to follow a path of learining Oracle ARCHITECT.

There is possibility in the future that Oracle could establish a learning path (and a relative-s certification) for a role of Oracle ARCHITECT (associate or professional)?

    Thank you

    Paolo

It's an interesting idea.  That particular path would have several reviews need to be really meaningful. To be really good at their jobs, data architects require a wide range of skills. The image below is a screenshot of a proposal from slideshare on the qualities required by a data architect and is the best example I could find.  The elements that it includes the themes (to a degree) in several existing reviews, but also several subjects not covered in any existing Oracle certification exam.  The DBA track, I would consider to be part of a potential architect data track (covering several topics "Data content" below).  The re-examination of the foundations of database covers most of the below data modeling section. In addition, reviews the performance of the database, security of database and Data Warehousing would be useful for an architect and are represented in many of the subjects in the image.

I think that proof of the data architect might work as well as a 'bonus' credential to earn certifications for all exams/tracks mentioned above according to the new recently announced for MAA. Even better - the certifications above could be treated as pre-requisites and require additional specific data architect review to win certification expertise.

  • How rate/knowledge so ready for the Oracle Certification

Hi, I am interested in an Oracle Certification exam (1Z0-144), but I'm not sure if I'm ready.

Any suggestions on how I could notice me if I am ready for the examination? I have (almost) no idea on what would be the review or what topics would be covered.

Are there sample examination questions that might similiarly appear in the review?

    appreciate your answers.

Oracle PL/SQL (and SQL) certifications are not really related to the output of the database as are the DBA certifications. The exam 1Z0-147 was developed during the version 9i, and the exam 1Z0-144 was developed during the release of 11 g.  However, a review wins the same certification credentials (i.e. you do not become a 'Oracle 11 g PL/SQL Developer Certified Associate'.  The reason is that SQL and PL/SQL undergo massive changes from one version to the other. However, they change slightly from one version to the other, and OU must periodically update information on trial so that it matches the available capacities.  I talk about this in the article below.  It is specific for reviews of databases SQL, but the basic concepts are the same for reviews of PL/SQL.

Preparation of Oracle Certification: Oracle SQL Fundamentals exams and database versions

Basically However - even if you are using oracle 10g, I recommend that you take 1Z0-144, because it's a review better than 1Z0 - 147.  I give my reasoning for it the following article:

Salam, Hello everyone, I would like to know if the objectives of the exam 1Z1-062 (Oracle 12 c Installation and Administration database) cabe changed (it is now in beta). If not, then what is the difference between the beta and final version? I'm new to the oracle database, what would be appropriate for me, 1Z0-052 (11.2) or 1Z1-062 (12.1)?

    Thank you very much.

The objectives must not change between the beta and production review.  The beta version is cheaper to make, but will be much longer.  I wrote an article about Oracle here betas:

Oracle Certification preparation time: Oracle Beta reviews - the good, the bad and the ugly.

I'm new to the oracle database, what would be appropriate for me, 1Z0-052 (11.2) or 1Z1-062 (12.1)?

  • beta test results reports

    Hi all
I took two beta exams lately: 1Z1 053 (11g Administration II) and 1Z1-054 (11g Performance Tuning). 1Z1 - 053 beta period ended 10 weeks ago (so the results are due), for 1Z1-054 everything recently.
Now my question is: How do I know if I passed these exams or not? So far, I look at the page history of Prometric candidate periodically, but I understand that this page will be unavailable for the Oracle exams in two weeks. Or should I get an email notification (I was not informed when I passed two beta exams last year)?

Sorry if this question has been answered before, I have not found in the FAQ.

    Best regards, Christoph

Partitions beta review: I will address all 4 tests beta exceptional here when well even you asked only about 2.
-053 and 206 beta scores should be available on the website of Prometric on 16 September. Paper score reports will be sent before September 20. You must ensure that your mailing address is updated in your profile prometric.com.

-144 and 054 score reports will be provided by Oracle. The delivery date is not yet available.

-Prometric has insured that if, for some reason, candidates receive no reports of scoring for the beta exams they were taking to Prometric, candidates will be able to contact Prometric after September 25 and Prometric help - except for 144 and 054 reviews. Candidates should contact Oracle for those.

-If you are not able to receive a copy of your report of results for some reason, you can still receive your result of review of [email protected]

Certificates queue time: We hope that this will reduce Pearson view. However, a part of the wait time is the duration during which some countries take for mail to be delivered. We suggest you to that you allow up to 4 weeks to receive the certificate from where it is sent by mail. Often, it does not take 4 weeks, but sometimes it does.

Translations of the page: Unfortunately, this has been a problem for us - to ensure that the pages of all countries are compatible with US pages. If you find inconsistencies, send them to [email protected]. We have recently worked on a new process with the web team to ensure that the updates are compatible, but I'm sure there is little clean-up we have to do. We will take a glance at the pages of reference and you ensure that these updates are facts. Thanks for that bring to our attention.

  • OCÉ: 1z1 - 054: passage beta without being 11g DBA OCP review?

    Hello

I have question: can I take beta exam 1z1-054 (OCÉ performance for 11g tunning) without being certified 11g OCP DBA? After sucessful from 1z1 - 054 I'd go for 11g OCP DBA certification, then submit hands course... is it possbile? I am aware that I would not be allowed to claim that I spent this OCE certification until I won 11g OCP DBA.

    Thanks for the reply.

You don't have to a g 11 DBA OCP before sitting for the exam in beta 1Z1-054. In fact, you don't have to be a DBA OCP 11 g to get this certification. You can also get certification by completing the required training. You can see your two options on our Web site at http://education-dev.oracle.com/pls/web_prod-plq-dad/db_pages.getpage?page_id=287.
