  A few days ago, I completed the SCBCD 5 old certification, which is past the test. However, database of certification of the Sun shows I'm registered only on certification, I have passed the exam, but it is not complete. I already have 6 OCPJP, so there should be nothing standing in the way for me to get my certification SCBCD 5 but his test.

  This is regarding 1Z0 - 864: Java Enterprise Edition 5 Enterprise Architect Master certified review (part 1 of 3).
  
  While he was trying to test the sample in Whizlabs, I been allocated partial mark/grade for the multiple choice questions. In other words, for a given multiple choice question which have 4 different choices and only two answers needed to be selected, I chose an option, but they gave me some 0.5 points for that.
  
  So, I would like to confirm if the original certification exam also follows the same approach or even partially answered options will be accepted, it's ALL or none market allotment for a certain multiple choice question.

  Oracle Certification exams do not provide a partial credit. A question must be entirely correct in order to get credit for it. Good luck with your exam!

• Oracle Forms and Java 7

  Forgive me if the answer is obvious to you guys, but the person who deals with the questions of forms is normally away so I was entangled with discover the details and I passed the age through the documents and the material online, but it doesn't seem to be a concise answer.
  
  We have forms 10.1.2.0.2, and the automatic update to Java 7 has been applied by the Windows team is obviously incompatible with the version of forms, we have, so I try to find;
  (1) what version of forms is compatible with Java 7?
  (2) If none came out still have Oracle gave a release date for one?
  (3) our version of forms is still supported?
  (4) if so when the support end?

  The latest version of forms 11 GR 1 material (11.1.1.6) is certified with java 1.7.

  Before starting to build custom to the Enterprise Oracle Business Suite (EBS) extensions I highly suggest that find you a job working firstly with EBS so you can learn the framework of EBS and how the various parts work together. Also, I recommend that consult the library of Documentation of Oracle Applications . Oracle is very clear on how to add customizations to the EBS.

  I failed the exam 1Z0-047 Oracle database SQL Expert"x 3 and will pass the exam in January 2012. I'm sure I'll spend this time :-) to 95%
  
  Now my question: what's next 1Z0-047? I only know how to leave 1Z0-047. I am SQL scripts to my work, but no DBA work and not of PL/SQL. So I guess that the "Oracle Certified Expert, Oracle Database 11 g Release 2 SQL Tuning" would be the next logical step?

  I agree with you.

  The Oracle 11 g Release 2 database: review SQL Tuning is still in beta at least until November 24, 2012. Beta versions have been known to be extended. Even if this isn't the case, the examination of the production is not available before mid-January 2013 about. I had one experience with a beta. I hated and will never be another. There is little reason to do so, and most importantly (reduced cost) is not important to me because my company reimburses the cost of my essay, so I don't really care about the savings. They take several times longer to complete and I was a mess at the time that I finished that I did with a headache roaring through a large part of the review.

  That said - answering your question:

  1Z0-047 is a really complicated test. The questions and answers are designed to mislead. There is a reason for that. SQL, by its very nature, is a fairly simple language. Part of its appeal, is that it is easy to understand and write. If the people who wrote the essay was not gone to their best to make the deliberately convoluted SQL code, then it would not have required skills 'experts' to pass. It is much more difficult to read and diagnose poorly written SQL as well written SQL.

  I also took the test Application Express Expert: 1Z0-450. The questions that it were not written in a deliberately confusing manner. However, they had need intimate knowledge of the interface of the Apex. Because it was possible to write questions 'hard' without having to make them deliberately more obscure, the questions were simpler. I did not review SQL Tuning (as I said... no more betas for me), but I suspect that it will be similar to 1Z0-450 has enough information "at the level of experts" to write questions on that test will not attempt to write "hard" questions

  Not sure what is in the test. This is excellent news. Student for the test will teach you a lot of new things about writing and tuning SQL. In my posts, a concept is repeated again and again. The value of certification is not make a piece of paper to stick in a workbook. The value comes to what new skills you gain in is about to pass the test. If you do not know the information and that you are not studying for the test, Yes, you will not pass. If you prepare for the test until you do understand the objectives, then you should be able to pass the test.

  What study guide?

  None does not yet exist. There is no doubt that I will write a review study guide. It won't be until some time after the test is in production. I do not publish guides for which I hold the certification. Do not wait for good. You can use the same exact source, I will use in his creation - the Oracle documentation. I guarantee you that all topics on the unique OE page and every single question that is under review are answered somewhere in the documentation.

  Hi, this is a reference to the JavaDocs of the methods/classes supported by ADF Mobile Java. You can usually right (or ctrl) click on any method of specific Java ADF Mobile and select "JavaDoc". You can open a sample application that contains a Java class - for example the HR sample application, and find any method with the name "adfmf." You should be able to see the doc of Java for the ADF Mobile related methods/classes.

  I'll install p5337014_10203_Linux - x 86 - 64.zip and check if OK.

  You can install the 10.2.0.3 Group of hotfixes also. I suggest you go to 10.2.0.4 patches group which is also available in version in64 bits for Linux.

  The Group of hotfixes you downloaded is for Linux X 86-32 bit. There is a 64-bit patch is also available for the Group of hotfixes 10.2.0.4.

  Please select Linux X 86 - 64 platform and language in the list.

  It is not a lot in common between the two.  The review has 14 topic on SQL operations.  Since MySQL uses SQL ANSI, you know Oracle SQL will be compatible.  However, the other 2/3 of the test has no connection with 1Z0-047.

  No study guide does exist for this test.  Most likely I'll write one, but I couldn't give you a period of time.  I am currently working on the exam 1Z0-417.  After that, I plan to do 1Z0-100.  Reviews of MySQL * could * follow that.

  Is it possible to deploy a Java application using Oracle express as the back-end in an installation?   You can install the database using a response file. Depending on the setup of your Java application, you can create a sort of meta-Installer creates a response file for the database and a response/parameter file for your application setup program and then run both in a single step.

• Oracle Forms - master and detail block (join problem).

  I have a form (Oracle forms 6i) with 2 data block (master and a block of retail). I have 4 fields in the main block and of the rating is a Nullable.
  
  The problem here is when I query the records - if the Nullable filed of the master is empty, then all records matching the first 3 fields are displayed. (Regardless of the fields fouth is NULL or Not NULL).

  Now, the block of this detail, all records that may have deposited 1 has NULL also 21 etc.

  setProperties() must be called on an object ORDDicom before following calls to get the metadata attributes. setProperties() extract all the metadata and store it in the purpose of dicom. Subsequent calls to get the attributes of metadata will go faster because the metadata has already been extracted the binary file.

  As to what exactly is happening in your case, you will need to post a few fragments of code and examples of your test results. I was not able to follow your description entirely.
