• Set up a connection from in JDeveloper content repository

  I use jDeveloper (Studio Edition Version 11.1.1.4.0, Build JDEVADF_11.1.1.4.0_GENERIC_100820.1600.5795) with D8B4. I am trying to implement features of attachments in my application.
  
  I followed the steps mentioned in Viewlet (http://download.oracle.com/otndocs/11gViewlets/Complete_UCM_Install/complete_ucm_install_viewlet_swf.html) to install the weblogic, RCU (repository creation utility) and ECM (Enterprise Content Manager) server.
  
  Trying to "Set Up a content repository Connection in my JDeveloper" by following the steps mentioned in the Fusion apps Developer's guide (http://fmwdocs.us.oracle.com/doclibs/fmw/E10285_01/appslib7/doc.1111/e10308/adv_repositories.htm#BEHGIHAE).

  My config params are:
  RIDC Socket Type - socket
  Server Hostname - host1.example.com
  Content Server Listener Port - 16200
  URL of the webserver plugin - http://host1.example.com:16200/cs/idcplg
  My UCM server is running on "host1.example.com"

  I am able to access my UCM server from browser at http://host1.example.com:16200/cs/login/login.htm and able to login also. I provided these details in external application wizard as mentioned in the dev guide. While testing this connection in jDeveloper, I am getting the following exception.

  The listening port must be 4444 and you will need to configure this in the MS.

  Hello

  You will need to return to the Administration - Admin Server. Select the Component Manager, and check the option component of Folders_g. That will make it compatible. Then, restart the server managed by UCM for the AAU records feature.
  That will fix the problem with Jdev repository too.

• File based with webcenter content repository

  We want to implement a content management solution using webcenter. We are very well for our content in the file system, as we do not want to buy a separate license for the AAU.
  (My assumption is that we have to separate license for Complutense University of MADRID. (Right?)
  
  When I drag and drop a file (html, word-doc) etc I see no connection to jspx site content repository, presenter content option. I think its because I am using the file according to the content repository. How should view us the repository then jspx on page file-based content.
  
  What are the other limitations with file based repository of content?

  In fact, when you purchase a license for WebCenter portal, you use limited to Webcenter content as well. This means that you can use the WebCenter content to store your content as long as access you it via the portal WebCenter. If you don't need to purchase additional licenses, and you can use WebCente content as your repository!
  This way you can make good use of the presenter content.

  I think that you have not enabled the Folders_g on UCM component.

  Select the component of management components - Server Admin Manager - and then restart the server of the University Complutense of MADRID.

  Test to see if the problem still persists.

  data control I display some path and name based on some search criteria.

  I had to put the following parameter: IntradocServerPort = 4444

  When I ran my program I saw results in my table. Also, I do not see the warning...

  I used the search instead of getItems operation.
  I need to set the path to "/" and recursive to true in order to see the results in my table.

  When I use the getItems operation and set the path to "/" and run the file, I get a single record with the record of the contribution.

  I notice in your links, you use links to set the path, so I think you want the user to go through the files and update the list when the user selects a folder, correct?

  To test your connection, set the path in your links to the getItems operation to / instead to your EL expression.
  If you have a result, that there is something wrong with your logic. If you do not see a result, there is something else wrong.

  For example, here are my links:

  If you do not see results when "code you" the path to /.
  What type of connection do you use? What is your type of socket RIDC in your area? Web, sleeve or socketssl?

  Jaromir,

  I agree with Brendan.  The error "Incompatible Oracle R company serving" indicates the version of Oracle R Enterprise on the server is different from the version of Oracle Enterprise R on the client.

  You can check the version of ore by running this command in r:

  I just took someone as a DBA, and I want to clarify something that I saw in Oracle (R) Enterprise Manager Console Version 9.2.0.1.0 Production.
  
  My default temporary Tablespace, TEMP. DBF is currently sized at 6144 MB, used size is MB 6140 99,93% with full auto expand on.
  
  Automatically expand the data file when it is full (Auto expand) K 20480 bytes.
  
  Maximum size - K 8192 bytes. (-> Issue of State here <-)
  
  
  I think that most likely my ex-personnel clicked wrongly, "Ko." It should be "M bytes. However, I would like to know how is it possible that console OEM version 9.2.0.1.0 allows the maximum size (8192 K bytes) less than 6144 MB? Is this allowed? If Yes and left clear, what the impact will be on the TEMP tablespace?

• Solaris PHP 5.2.12 Oracle Instant Client error

  We test an Oracle Solaris 11 Express Server with the standard installation of Apache and PHP. But we have the Oracle Instant client and module oci8 enabled for applications of our society.
  
  We did it using the. / pecl install oci8 in usr/php/5.2/bin. We set the LD_LIBRARY_PATH in /etc/apache2/2.2/envvars
  
  version 32 bit for solaris (x 86) of the Oracle Instant Client 11.2 is installed in/opt/oracle/instantclient_11_2 with the symbolic link.

  When we discover everything first a site there is no problem but very random, we get the following error:

  now, the strange, that it's as random as it appears he disappears we can load the web page without a problem and after a few clicks of the error is back. If we wait for a cup of seconds you can reload the page and it loads normally.
  The error seems to be random and we get it over and over again, it comes and goes after a cpl of pages are read. It seems to appear more when there are multiple users browsing the Web site.
  
  Is there any solution for this? is this a known bug? It seems strange that the instant client works sometimes and fails a second later without a change in the system.

  NO.

  Listener is a specific node resource, so you should have 1 single earphone (ranging from the upper version of DB House) on a server and it will be.

• CS4 Table of contents 'Other Options' button turns into a button 'Save Style'. Help?

  Can anyone help or someone encountered this before?

  When I open the Table of contents dialog box, the 'Other Options' button is there, just under the button "Cancel". BUT the second I go over it with my mouse to click on it, it turns into the button 'save the Style... ', never to return. I tried to navigate using the tab, with the same results.

  I can't do the things formatting I want unless I can access the 'other Options '.

  So my question is twofold: one, have you seen this and how to fix this? And two, is there a way to alter to access the items in the table of contents more Options?

  You are using webcenter spaces or you create a custom application webcenter?

  When you create a custom application webcenter, you can make use of the workflow Documents. Jdeveloper resources catalog, you will find a few flows of Documents job that will allow you to add some components to manage documents in a folder structure.
  You must first create a connection to your content from your application server. This can be done in the Application resources, right-click on the connection and in the context menu, select "content repository". Them you must filll in connection to your content server details. Make sure you have selected "Set as primary connection for document service" because otherwise the document taskflows you deposit on your page will not find a connection.

  Once you have added the connection, you will also find a datacontrol to the content repository. In this way, you can use the datacontrol place the taskflow and you can create several custom tables.
  I'm not sure but I think the datacontrol also include surgery to create the document but I'm not sure...

  And if not enough, you can always do use the webservices provided by content server. In Jdeveloper you can easily create a datacontrol from Web services by providing the wsdl file. UCM provides for services so that you can import the wsdl into your application and you can easily create your own forms checkin, tables...
