  For the OBIEE itself platform, it is immaterial whether or not you use Siebel Marketing. The differences are

  (a) within Siebel - i.e. the administration screens
  (b) in the RPD BIEE - i.e. Marketing metadata objects

  There is no installation for the OPA runtime components. For the .NET 10.1 OPA (V20466-01) package, you will need to decide which components you want to deploy, and then follow the corresponding section in the installation guide.

  As we don't provide any Windows Mobile application, the process would be to develop your own .NET Compact Framework application, referencing the engine mobile determinations and it's dependencies and deploy this application you would normally deploy a Windows Mobile application.

  (1) I have logged into Oracle administrator and created a user with these steps table owner:

  CREATE USER user_name
  IDENTIFIED BY password
  DEFAULT TABLESPACE USERS
  TEMPORARY TEMP TABLESPACE
  DEFAULT PROFILE
  RELEASE OF ACCOUNT;

  (2) then I gave the following permission to the user:

  GRANT CONNECT TO user_name;

  (3) then I gave resources to the user:

  GRANT RESOURCE TO username;

  (4) then I have connected to the user, created all the tables and all the necessary information within each table.

  (5) after that I again registered as an administrator and created another user who is going to be change, inserting and selecting data.

  (6) then I have linked to the owner of the table and the user may consult all the data in the tables like this:

  GRANT SELECT, INSERT, UPDATE, DELETE on table1 TO username;

  (7) when the user connects it receive an error indicating that the table does not exist.

  Can anyone please help and show me where I made a mistake here?

  When you try to download software from http://otn.oracle.com download link, you will be prompted to read and accept the OTN license. Please read the "license fees".

  (for example you cannot deploy in production, further development after deployment in production etc until and unless you purchase the appropriate license.

  The license does NOT include the fixes. Patches are available only if you buy a Support after the purchase of the license.

  1. unzip the file using "gunzip". Ex.: "gunzip amd64_db_9204_Disk1.cpio.gz".
  2 extract the file from step above with 'cpio '. Ex.: "cpio - idcmv < amd64_db_9204_Disk1.cpio.
  
  and now I have the following files:

  Hi Paul,.

  I studied more this type of installation - unfortunately at the moment it is not possible to implement a full-fledged liquid powered product list. There are a few things missing (like the ability to get the URL of the catalogue - this not is not implemented immediately), some bugs that need to be sorted - the data types for query parameters create pagination for the products.

  I've added to my to-do list, as soon as all the missing pieces are rejected or fixed, I'll write a tutorial.

  From the Service Panel, you can start the OracleServiceXE service to start the database.

  Then, from a DOS window (connected with the OS user with which that oracle was installed), try this:

  set ORACLE_SID=XE
  sqlplus /nolog
  connect / as sysdba
  alter user sys identified by ;
  

  This way, you will have the new password for SYS.

  Beware, if you change passwords from APEX, you will need to do some operations on the demand side too.

  The community provides for the possibility for members to upload documents to the content-> spaces of Documents in the workspace of each product (if available).  However, the feature is currently disabled for most members due to problems with spam, so only a few members (most of Oracle employees) have the necessary permissions to do this.
