  • How to create a database by using Visual Basic 2013?

Original title: I need a teaching aid

I have been programming since the beginning of the 1980s as a hobby.  I want to create a database by using Visual Basic 2013 but I have difficulty finding the information as required to fit.

When I was with VB6 I used a book: beginning Visual Database 6 database programming by John Connell

This book taught me everything I needed to know.  He used control arrays (I understand are now mocked) to define the forms of "state machines" which I liked a lot.

I could go back and reinstall VB6 but I would learn instead to perform all necessary steps in VB 2013.  Can anyone suggest a similar book?

I used the COBOL, FORTRAN, VBA, VB6, Basica, etc..  But through it all to adapt to new versions has never been so difficult.  I believe that the adaptation will be difficult if I can find a book that explain the changes.

  • How to use IBCLR in Visual Basic

I suck at programming and the recommendations of the syntax of the API on http://www.ni.com/pdf/manuals/321038g.pdf do not work.

I use Visual Basic 2010 Express. I get a lot of messages to work, but I think I'm leaving data in the buffer with some commands. I see that IBCLR clear a specific device in the buffer, but I'm having a hard time with the syntax.

    I am currenlty

GpibDevice.Write ("ibclr (ANP)") , but it does not work.

    Any guidance is appreciated.

You should see if Agilent has specific examples.

As I've written before, READ the help files for Agilent. You will not be able to get a lot done without it.

  • How to deploy Web application in Azure VM using Visual studio online

    Hello

I am very new to visual studio online. It is part of my learning. I try to deploy the web application in the blue. I could deploy the web application successfully in Azure Blue Web site. Later, I created and Azure VM and try to deploy the application on the virtual computer. But I could not. I read some blogs, but not able to understand how to deploy it on the virtual machine using Visual Studio online. I was able to publish the application to the Azure VM using Visual Studio 2015. But failed to deploy via VSO.

I use Build definitions. Please help me configure the deployment in Azure VM using VSO.

  • How to automate resource studio using visual studio 2010?

    Hi friends,

I use the software studio Microsoft Resource for the localization process, now I want to automate my work for studio of resources by using Visual studio.
If anyone can guide me how to do this?

    Hello

Your question is more complex than what is generally answered in the Microsoft Answers forums. It is better suited for Visual Studio on MSDN. Please post your question in the MSDN forums. You can follow the link to your question:

  • With an average using the "basic DC/eff' VI

I seem to end up using the "basic DC/eff" VI a little average my data to my DAQ system. However, I have a question about what's going on "under the hood".

Let's say, for simplicity I acquire data at 1 kHz into blocks of 1000 samples.

Thus, all the 1 second I push 1000 samples in the VI-DC/RMS database as a data type of waveform.

This means that the outputs 'DC' and 'Eff' will update at the rate of 1 second.

The question is, is "continuous" averaging? In the sense that if I was doing 'good' low-pass filtering (on average is just the same as the low-pass filtering) - say simple TREE with notches n - to the DSP, then the output of the filter would be updated at the same speed as data entry; That is to say. taps would be 'move along' the input data at the same rate as the input data passes through the filter. I'm guessing based on my above explanation that's not what's happening. Instead, the VI DC/RMS is on average an entire block of 1000 samples and then 'jump' 1000 samples along and doing the next block.

This is not necessarily a problem, but it is not not true low-pass filtering and I can image some scenarios where there might be artifacts because the moyenneur filter jump 1000 samples whenever it takes on average. I assumed that the only solution is to implement filtering in a loop of much higher speed and this could prove problematic in the higher frequencies of sampling.

Anyone got any ideas on that? I worry about anything?

    Dave

    Hi Dave,.

The 'average base DC - RMS' feature is designed to work only with continuous acquisitions, it will lift a warning is the signal is not continuous. When you open the function and examine the code in the function there is a Subvi with status information, which permits the function to continue the average of the previous data block.

For this reason, we provide a reset terminal if you need 'forget' the previous calculations.

Much of this is discussed in the detailed help on function, but still sometimes there hands dirty to know how the code works and review the code.

  • Call a visual basic executable file with arguments command line using LABView

    Hi all

I try to call a visual basic executable file with a command line using LABView 2014 argument. What I'm trying to accomplish executes an executable file that communicates with a device via a COM port. So, I would open the .exe with a command line argument to communicate via com 3 using the SYSTEM Exec VI. It seems that the command prompt window flashes and closes and then nothing happens. Not a lot of discussions about this on the forum. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

With some programs, instead of passing in the string:

    Somefile.exe

    Instead, you can use:

    cmd /c "C:\Full Path\to the EXE\Somefile.exe"

Can you tell us what exactly you are trying to run?

It seems to me that visual studio is not able to determine which library files, she should join to build the project.  How to find out what libraries the NDK connects in when it does the build so that I can tell visual studio to do the same thing?

I tried to manually add files to library in the settings of the linker in visual studio, but that doesn't seem to work, maybe I add the wrong files or I was not their correct specification.

Can someone help me get the sample application generation OpenGL and execution of Visual Studio?

I created an unmanaged application, and then I could see the files I need to link in.

I added to my visual studio settings and now everything works.

  • If I use Visual Studio 2005 Pro on Windows 7 Pro 64 bit?

I use Visual Studio 2005 Pro XP Pro 32 bit. I can use it on Windows 7 Pro 64 bit?

I looked on the VS site and couldn't find a definitive answer to the use of this version on my new OS.  I know, they use Visual Studio 2010 and al.  I don't have the kind of cash they are trying to get at me.

At least, if I use it, I can do some free projects made/self-used.  I download free development systems.  But, they run out after 60 to 90 days.  I still need to get MS Office Standard 2007/10.  Urgh! I wish that I coould win the lottery or something.

  • This product key cannot be used to extend the trial for Microsoft Visual Basic

I need a product key to extend my evaluation period for visual basic. I went through the motions and picked up a new microsoft product key but when I go in I'm hit with a message box "this key allows to extend the use of this product."

I don't know even where to start again looking for help with this. Is there a number to call? This happened to other people? And especially how to fix this?

Other information: the last time he asked me to renew my product key all left with a problem. I can only re new product keys so many times before I have to buy the product?

It is often the case for the evaluation version. at the end of the trial you will need to buy or stop using it.
