  I just got Windows 7 after using XP for years.  I like to organize the list of programs on the start menu, depending on the area of functionality (support, business, games, etc.) instead of having a long, long list of programs.  How can I do this with Windows 7?  Right click on the Start button does not open the folder that contains the list of programs.

  2. right click on all programs, and click on "Open All Users".
  3. If you want to sort the programs under just your profile, right-click on all programs and click on 'Open' instead.

• Organization of photo library

  I am in the process by putting my main workstation to Windows to Mac. I have a pretty big photo archive (110 GB), that I always organized in the folders as I want - year, photo taken months and I use Bridge and Photoshop for editing (cloud Creative). I really _want_ to take photos but I understand Photos on import organizes all the pictures of the Photoslibrary in folders by date imported. That makes me hesitate. I don't understand. Have tried Googling and Youtubing, but cannot decide what to do. My biggest concern is that if I want to return to using Bridge and Photoshop as my main workflow I'd on the photos in Finder folders organized by photographing year/month - is it possible to export all the photos in the photo library in Finder folders organized by photo date taken?

  Of course, another option is to use the photos without copy photos in the photo library. Is this a bad alternative? Is there any feature that I miss with the option?

  Help a total newbie on Mac out. I'm so confused.

  Pictures displays your photo library in two different views:

  1. The sight of Photos show you the photos organized by "Moments." A Moment is a group of photos taken on the same day in the same place.  The times appear firstly by capture date, oldest chronlogically.  You can change the display of the Moments to a view of collections or year for large groups of photos.  Collections are grouping related moments, so you will find pictures of holidays in a collection. The title of the collections and the moments will show catpture date and location, if your photos are tagged with GPS. I mainly use this view to access my photos to the capture date.  Collections and the 'Moments', years are saving me a lot of work, since the consolidation is carried out fully automatically.  I don't have to create folders named by date ranges and places on my own.
  2. The photos in the album 'Pictures' is sort by the date you imported, so that you can easily access the most recent import.

  And Yes, you can export your photos in folders named by date.  Among the export options is the subfolder option "name of the Moment."

  The Masters folder inside the photo library contains the original images, if you copy photos in the library, but it is not intended as a means to access pictures.  Always use the GUI of photos recover photos and pass them to external publishers.  To edit a photo in photoshop, you open the photo in edit mode and run the extension of "External editors" photo editing and select Photoshop as editor.

  Photos will work this way, but you cannot use iCloud photo library.

  Also, this is not well supported to use the pictures in this way.  Photos has no tools to reconnect the pictures referenced quickly, if you must move the photos to another drive. or if you restore a backup photos, because the leaning reader operation.  You will have a lot of work, if you need to replace your drive with the library or move it to a new computer.  So I can't really recommend.  If you want to manage your photos from the Finder, do not use the Photos for Mac application.

  I prefer to have mage Photos my photos, because it is easy to create albums of the purpose FRO specific to search for photos: the date of capture one titles and legends, the names of the people in the photos, the name of the scene.

  But it is to you, how you want to organize your Photos.  You can use a Mac without the help of pictures.

  If you like Adobe software, why not use Lightroom?  It supports the referenced pictures and integrates well with Photoshop.

  My parents did a lot of videos of me and my brother growing up. Especially for our birthdays, holidays and special events. I'm 19 now and never really seen footage. It was because it was shot on MiniDV and VHS-C and we had no speed reading. I got really into it and how I could scan all the images I made the object of research. I have some records VHS-C from 1993 to 1999 and MiniDV from 2000 to 2006. I found the way to digitize it and I imported while at FCPX. I made a library named "Old tapes" and events of all the years, I have pictures of. Now, I want to create movies of all the different events that happened during my lifetime in this period. I create projects, I really want to think about what is the best way to do it. I want a system that allows me to organize all videos with tags, like the names of the family members, locations, etc. I know that when you export a project in FCPX, you have the ability to add tags. However, I've never had this system because I don't see the tags in the sequence exported in the Finder. Then I taught the Photos app, but I don't know if it's the right way to go. In addition, she will be my much larger photo library. I think using the Photos app gives me a more structured and more Visual folders appearing experience to just have video files in the Finder.

  So my question: what is the best way to organize all of my old videotapes and what would be the best way to find some videos of back just by searching for tags.

  Start by looking for keywords in the system using FCPX and then Cap on the web and YouTube for other tips on using keywords. The change of this kind of things is difficult because you have to remove the Junk without deleting the moments that are valuable to others, but may not make sense to you.

• What is the difference between folders: ' all ' and 'Photos' - it's just to start!

  Following a major problem with iPhoto and several telephone conversations with Apple, they have updated my OS to OS X El Capitan 10.11.2 which of course includes Photos.  Considering that it took a few minutes to import, for example, 400 photos from a trip to New Zealand, it now takes 40 minutes to import and sort then maybe a dozen. I seem to end up with copies in records last import, all pictures and Photos.  Also following the upgrade, all my previously deleted photos "reappear" so I got over 18 000 instead of the expected 12-13, 00.  It took hours to sort - and still sorting...

  First question: what is the difference between all the Photos (posted at random), Photos (posted by year/day)?

  Second: Photos sitting in the last import files - where do they go once they have been placed in my Albums?

  1. they are not records - photos exactly as the iPhoto files hold not photos - they have other folders or albums

  2 - both are standard SystemTop - photo albums, photo exhibition which is not hidden in a sort of photo date (years/collections/moments) and all photos shows all pictures sorted by date of adding Photos

  3 - the last import also isn't a folder - it's a special album that shows the latest photos imported - they will not anywhere – when you import again the importation of latest news is shown

  4. don't 'put' Photos in albums and they don't go anywhere that you never move anything in Photos (or iPhoto) - all photos are still in the library and view you through different methods, including albums (used for the Organization), all pictures, Photos and possibly other SystemTop albums

• QMH stop not all loops

  I'm having a rather funny problem I can't find what is happening.

  I have a QMH structure with several line-ups at several control loops. I have the exit button linked to cases of output on all my curls, but when I hit the exit button, LabVIEw does not stop. I understand that two of the loops never send a real signal to the node to stop, but the loops themselves don't update. If I run the program with execution of climax, the program stops as it should be, but running without execution of climax he hung up. Probe window stops showing the execution time for the loops, so it seems that the curls have ceased, but LabVIEW continues to operate. I have tried everything I can think of nothing doesn't.

  I see nothing on your stop, but here are a few comments:

  1. you need not wait 0 in all of your curls.  The process to dequeue and waits inside your auto enqueueing case will take care to not let the loop being greedy.

  2. in the render loop, there is no need to queue the status of the "display update" because that makes the loop DAQ.  You probably found in a weird State with one where you have additional items in the queue of messages, but you are waiting in the queue of data.

  #2 might actually be your problem.  If data acquisition loop was arrested, but there are still more UpdateDisplay in the queue of messages for loop to display, but the queue of data is empty, so will you be waiting for always coming data.  I actually would eliminate that data queued and simply use the command queue (putting the 2D table in the variant data message).  Do the same for the loop of logging.

  Of the four files that you listed, only the download folder seems to have a purpose.  He is the giant pool where anything and everything that you download from your device's.  I guess the other three cases are some suggestions where to put your content, your content will be found no matter where it is.  But don't bother delete these folders if you don't use them, recreate them because the app will just unnecessarily.

  Recently improved to 12 items at 14.  12 items, I never used the Organizer, but decided to do it with 14 elements.  A problem occurred today since trying to my catalog files.

  I have a Mac that runs on El Capitan version 10.11.4 - problem seems to be that when you configure the Organizer all the files in my photo folder have been extracted and are now individually in images. They also have a numbering begins with B0012650 system. JPG to B0029316. NAVE and Backup.tly then Catalog.buc it takes 146,92 GB and represents 16557 Documents.

  There are also a number of items starting B0000000.cache then B00000002 then B00000003.json to Boo12652.json then Boo12653.dat then Boo12654.dat then Boo12655.cache in all a total 0f 12656 elements occupying 113.9 MB.

  My original photos which is held in the files the photo amounted to 120 files and occupy 202,66 GB, it seems that the organizer of items has now exhausted still 146,92 GB for images and 113.9 MB because I guess that metadata.

  Can anyone out there advise if this is correct or is something not good.  Adobe just told me to read some documents but non of them seem to show the point above.

  The problem may be that the elements that you show are mixed with other unrelated to those in the main folder of photos.

  Maybe not, but all the files you mentioned belong to a backup, as well as .xml or .xmp files possible and... specific subfolders.

  If you create a master folder where you want your catalogue to be. It is considered in the 'custom' location by the Organizer.

  From the Finder, you select all files (i.e. all starting by B00...) and move or copy to the empty folder.

  The backup folder will be ready for a restore on the file menu.

  In your case, since your 14 elements works, could be easier to voluntarily create a new backup to an external drive and simply delete the items above in your main folder of photos. That would free up unwanted space on your computer and you would have a new backup.

  The wrong backup can also created named subfolders:

  -FaceAnalysis

  -Previews

  -projects

  -styles

  -WaldoData

  Normally you can delete them all, but if you fear that these subfolders can be used by the Mac (unlikely), you could start by renaming them all first and if you get wrong, I mean delete.

  I have currently more 70 000 photos in iPhoto, I edit in Photoshop Elements.  I have myself treated just for an upgrade to 14 items and organizing see during the installation process reminded me that I should see how to store and organize my photos.  At some point soon, I intend to spend my Macbook to a PC.  14 items came with a disc of Mac and a PC drive, so I guess that I would be able to use it on a Windows laptop with no problems.  What I wonder is seen my photos on my Mac, organized to the Organizer if is going to make it easier or more difficult to transfer them to PC?  If I want with iPhoto to organize my photos for now, or take the plunge immediately and use Organizer? My understanding is that it will be a big headache in any case (advice gratefully received, but a little off topic!) to transfer my photo library from Mac to PC.  Is there a way that organizing can help the transition as I could use it on both Mac and PC?  I'm guessing not, but thought someone knowledgable might be able to help!

  I'm not a Mac user, but there are two ways to work with iPhoto: either use iPhoto as the organizer and send images to change to the item editor. You do not use the Organizer in the process. Or you use the option to send your entire library to the Organizer, which duplicates all your library iPhoto hidden on your computer and allows you to use the Organizer.

  1. be sure you are using the second solution, to import your ENTIRE library in iPhoto on your computer so that your files are no longer hidden and private iPhoto files; the Organizer all will keep them in its catalog.

  2. perform a full backup of the Organizer on an external drive

  3 - install the 14 on the PC

  4 - Use the recovery menu in the Organizer to restore on your computer. Who restores your catalog and all of your media files.

• Why not Lightroom organizes photos and videos is missing 'date taken' by 'date modified' instead of 'creation date '?

  It always seems to be a problem with Lightroom 5. This post is one of the first results, after trying to Google this problem, and it's for LR3. I don't understand why something so basic to some photos (and video) Organization has been neglected for so long.

  I tried to import and organize all my old photos and videos by date with LR5. They have been backed up and copied several times over the years, most recently on an external drive last week. Thus, each file has a 'creation date' last week. But 'change' is the date recorded.

  It's not bad for pictures with a good EXIF "date taken" - but LR5 resembles the "creation date" for videos, making it completely useless to organize them into folders based on date. He puts videos I recorded in 2010 (in accordance with the "modification date") in a case 2014-12. Why.

  It is not only a video problem - some pictures that I took with devices that does not record date "EXIF taken" are also filed in folders of this month even if the 'update' on them is correct as is 5 years.

  Have you tried the "Drag and Drop" tool in the area of point? It gives you a good overview of how your objects are organized.

  Unfortunately there is no option 'file' for the Organisation of access roads.

  The only thing I can suggest is to create an empty path with a name that would be used to divide the paths into categories.

  

  You can't reduce them in folders, but it allows you to organize by categories.
