Out of office to monitor video occasionally cuts

I have a HP P6520Y desktop computer that I hooked to my TV with a cable from DVI output to the input DVI, then DVI adapter on a HDMI input connected to the TV input.  My audio output of the computer is an optical Audio cable directly to surround his receiver.  It works fine, but lately the video released ONLY in television sometimes black out for a few seconds, then back on during a long period of time.  During power cuts, the audio still works fine, it is a video power failure only.  Any ideas?

Hello @badnarc,

Welcome to the HP Forums, I hope you enjoy your experience! To help you get the most out of the Forums of HP, I would like to draw your attention to the Guide of the Forums HP first time here? Learn how to publish and more.

I understand that you found fault on your TV by displaying your HP Pavilion p6520y desktop PC. I suspect you had an update of some sort come through and not fit correctly. I recommend that you follow the steps in the HP Support document: use Microsoft System Restore (Windows 7), which will show you how to restore your computer to a point in time where it was operating normally.

ATTENTION! This will not affect your personal files, ONLY the operating system and installed applications.

I hope this helps. Thanks for posting on the HP Forums. Have a great day!

How auto answer "out of Office" IN E-MAILS?

The best way to do so is the web portal to your e-mail server. If you use iCloud, then you can set it in preferences of Mail on www.icloud.com.

If you try to establish a local rule on your Mac, Mail must be open to answer, and you can get into a war of spam with someone else who did the same thing where your response triggers a response from the other email client that cascade infinitely. Defining one out of the office on the server response can avoid these problems.

    Hey gd6784,

There are several versions of Yahoo Mail and they are each a little different. Without knowing which version you use, it is difficult to help. I suggest you look at the Yahoo Mail support documentation such that he'll have more detailed information.

If you are looking for "out of office" in their documentation you will see different articles that explain how it works and it will tell you which version of Yahoo Mail each article applies to.

  • Use Messaging to send automatic 'out of Office' message

I've noticed that some people have a function with their messaging system that automatically sends a message back saying that they are 'out of office' or 'not available '.  I was wondering if I could do a similar thing using Mail on my iMac?

I typed 'auto response' in mail help on my computer, and here's what I found:

Automatically reply to or forward messages

Mail must be open before you can automatically send or reply to messages. If you want to send automatic replies when mail is not open, as when you are on holiday - check with your e-mail account provider.

Choose Mail > Preferences, and then click rules.

Click Add rule, and then type a name for the rule.

Indicate if any of the conditions must be met for the rule to apply.

The conditions that determine which messages automatically meet or before.

Select options from the pop-up menu "perform the following actions.

Forward messages: choose Message forward in the first menu drop-down, and then enter the email addresses where you want to receive forwarded messages. Click the Message, and then enter the text you want to include with the message. For example, you might explain that you automatically transfer of messages.

Reply to messages: choose "Reply to Message" in the first pop-up menu, click on 'Reply message text', then enter your answer. Mail includes the full text of the original message in your reply.

    Click OK.

In Outlook express, how do I set up a 'out of office' message please?

If you do this, you must let your computer 24/7, be connected to the Internet and open your e-mail program. If you want to do this anyway, the link below will show you how do it. One thing I would say is that where it says to create a rule and change you it to check for all Messages, and that the rule for the people in your address book. Otherwise you will answer Spam as well and could end up in an infinite loop of rebounds.

To set an out of office message in the mail app on the Surface, you must drag right and go into the settings.  (Upper right corner and drag to the bottom with a mouse.)

Choose accounts and select the account you want to have your out of the Office for the value.

  • 660 s dual monitor video card

I just bought an inspiron 660 s. I want to upgrade the video card that supports two monitors. Is this possible? After looking at the back, it's not like there is a lot of room, if necessary, for additional entries.

    Thanks for the help.

I just bought the EVGA Geforce GT Ref. 620 01 G-P3-2625-KR to Fry and it's the only one I found to date that mentions the support of Windows 8.

It comes with adapters for low profile and fits well into the case with the fan on the cooling holes in the case.

I have yet to get out the disc because it completely installed and same jump upward with a monitor on the start page and the other on the desktop as if he knew what I wanted.

I had trouble with the Dell 0JJ461 from my office replaced and found that it was simply not compatible with the 660.

I found on another forum a suggested list of cards, but most of them required to install Windows Vista 64 driver so when it says Windows 8, I'm excited and bought.

It was on sale under the proposed price while it was still a better deal.

My list was the following if you have trouble finding one I did.

Don't forget they all (except the 620) required Windows Vista 64-bit.

  • Monitor video Signal loss

I'm having a problem with my XPS 8500 and hope you guys can help out me.  I would like to know if my problem could be linked to the assumption of the supply of power, or if not, if you have other ideas.  I am currently waiting for Dell to call me after basically insulting me and claiming my cable DVI is not connected correctly.  I have replaced the cable and am still having the same problem:

My 8500 XPS came with the AMD Radeon HD 7870.  I had the computer for a month and have experienced a problem about 7 times now, the latest being this morning.  My monitor (new Dell 24 ") will randomly lose the video signal.  Most of the time it's the morning after the computer remained all night and the monitor in power saving mode, or when I get home from work.  The system won't mode 'sleep' because I have that turned off so that I can remote access to my computer if necessary.  I also manually told the monitor from the DVI source to make sure that the automatic selection of the source is not the issue.

What's weird (Besides he won't), it's that when I move the mouse or hit the keyboard the screen out of power save mode and acts that it will Brig up to my office.  But he's sitting there for a few seconds and then between new power saving mode. Even more strange because the carillon of PC indicating that it recognizes the monitor is connected again.  That tells me that the computer is not fixed because it sounds too when I disconnect and reconnect the cable from the DVI monitor and the monitor power cable.  I'm no expert, but it seems that my computer itself works (not crashed or frozen), the monitor also works, but the computer does not send for some reason any of the video transmission to the monitor.

It does not it whenever it's on and the monitor is in power saving for a long time, but happened about 7 times in the last month and it is very annoying because I have to do a hard reboot to get back on my computer.  He even did once while I was in the Middle using the computer.

I have a feeling that Dell will make me jump through hoops a lot before admitting or sugessting a bad video card.  Am I crazy to think that is the question?  Reading the forum made me think that it is not a question of power because my computer is not freezing or do whatever it is already asspciated with a power supply issue.

    I appreciate any ideas.

UPDATE: Eu new map video for a week or two and have not experienced the problem again.  I hope it's resolved.

You will be very expensive if the video editor should go back and change the position of the text on all the video files.

    Hi Christine,

When you say "it isn't there when seen outside the Cp/swf." Using v5.5.l", means that this problem occurs only in a specific output?

Try this - go to preferences - SWF size and quality and under customer, uncheck Compression project advance, republish the course and check the results.

    Thank you
