• Moving files in Code of edge

  Is it possible to move files in the Code of edge?  It seems to me that it would be a great feature to be able to drag and drop files between different folders.  What is a planned feature?

  Hi Dan,.

  It is currently not possible, but you can vote on this proposal for a feature here: drag and drop in file Navigator (in brackets is the project open source underlying edge Code built from).

  In the meantime, there's a shortcut you can right click on a file or folder in the Code of edge and select 'Show in Finder' (Mac) / see the 'Show in Explorer' (Windows) - then you can use the standard operating system folder to get things moving.  It's the less faster than having to go find the files yourself from scratch.

  You can use the following steps to access the list of extension media: https://blogs.adobe.com/edgecode/enabling-the-brackets-extension-registry-in-edge-code/.

  Remember that media releases more frequently than Edge Code, so you can find some extensions in the list who say edge Code is not new enough to be compatible.  In many cases, the extension manager will allow you to install a version that is older and more compatible for a same extension, however.

  It is not the fact that I'm so in love with syntax hilighting DW...
  But I'm so used to it for the speed and the speed of writing code I would have the code html/php/css/js to color exactly as in Dreamweaver...

  Edge code is a re-branding of media, but it is not updated with each new version of the media. You will need to install media (http://brackets.io), which has themes built-in to the latest version (0.43), then you can install themes extensions. If you do not see the themes that you like, you can create your own.

  The find/replace feature is pretty but I got a little confused on how to use regular expression matching.

  I tried to clean up the coordinates of a file Adobe Edge animate full of 120.17px (heavy and less accurate)

  So basically you're looking \d+\.\d+px

  FYI, I know exactly how you want to replace the search results, but here are a few tips:

  You must set the text that you want to retrieve by using parentheses. Thus, for example, if you want the integer part of the number of the result, then your regexp would be: / (\d+)\.\d+px/

  Then you must specify the first result using $1, so (when it's fixed), you can use something like: $1px

• Generated code with edge of adobe for my site does not work with fireox, but done with IE9 and chrome. Why?

  The first time I opened Firefox with the code in my site, it has worked. Since then, it has not worked. I tried it on another computer and it worked perfectly. This computer is running under Windows XP.

  Reload Web pages, and ignore the cache.

  • Hold SHIFT and click reload.
  • Press 'Ctrl + F5' or 'Ctrl + Shift + R' (Windows, Linux)
  • Press 'Cmd + Shift + R' (MAC)

  Clear the cache and cookies from sites that cause problems.

  "Clear the Cache":

  • Tools > Options > advanced > network > storage (Cache) offline: 'clear now '.

  'Delete Cookies' sites causing problems:

  • Tools > Options > privacy > Cookies: "show the Cookies".

  With the help of "Forget this Site" remove all of this area like bookmarks, cookies, passwords, cache, history, and exceptions, so be careful if you have to keep the passwords or other data of this site.
  
  You can't recover from which "forget" unless you have a backup of the affected files.

  It has no lasting effect, so if come back you on such a 'forgotten' site, then the data of this Web site will be saved once more.

  Hello there,

  I think that the completion of the tablenames in the modified spreadsheet of sort it ignores now public synonyms.

  When I type

  and press CTRL-space I get SYS.user_tables SYS.user_tab_columns etc. It's a little embarrassing.

  Now the question is, can I code insight also offer public synonyms? And if not can I at least get the usernames lowercase?

  the hidden value of param querySynonyms = true

  command to activate the thesaurus in code insight. This has changed due to the execution of view poor synonyms dictionary in 12 c with insight omitting guest more important objects tables, views and pl/sql modules.

  Also, make sure that

  Preferences-> completion Insight-> change case as long as you type = None

  then the object names would be in the same case that they extracted from the dictionary (upper case).

  When I try to make a new file it comes up with an error message it says Error creating file, an error when you try to create the file "name.type". The target directory cannot be changed.

  Looks like you create a file in a project with a limited Internet system (e.g. a directory under "Program Files (x 86)"). If this is the case, you must move the project outside of the restricted directory system.

  I don't know exactly what is your question. You can edit text files in Edge Code CC. There is not as much functionality for PHP as JS, but there are a few extensions that add more functionality for .php files.

  You can use file > project settings... to specify a local server (for example, localhost) to view the .php files in the live preview (although not all the Live Preview features work with this configuration).

  In my view, there is an extension for the media, but the installation instructions look a bit confusing (I'm a little new to this).

  Does anyone know if extension brackets can be used with advantage Code? If so, how it is installed?

  You can install any extension in this way:

  1. Find the extension of the list of registry extension brackets
  2. Right click on its name and copy the URL
  3. In edge Code, choose file > Extension Manager, click install from URLand paste in the link

  You can also configure Edge Code works more like media, where registration of the extension is available from directly within the extensions Manager.  See this blog for instructions: allowing the Extension registry in the Code of edge media.

  I was just wondering where the Java compiler is supposed to be accessible in the application of the Code of edge? I have a fairly long Java source code of the program that needs pretty bad compilation as soon as possible.

  There is no component of Java for edge Code compiler. Edge code is designed for JavaScript (not Java) developers.

• Adobe edge applications aren't on the CC and are unable to download

  Hey there,

  I reinstalled creative cloud today on my new Windows 10 and every single app installed normally except that I could not find Adobe Edge reflow or Code of edge on the list of the app so I went on the website of adobe, signed at and tried to manually download the apps 2 apps missing, but he said he has started to download , but he did just this in CC (Photo below). I waited for about an hour, but nothing happened. After that, all my other apps simply disappeared. Of course, after that I restarted my computer I could see applications again but I wasn't still able to see Adobe Edge reflow or Code of edge and when I tried to download from the site and then the same thing happened. How can I solve this problem and get the two applications that I need? (the rest of applications like photoshop and ill... work normally) (I have a VIP pass and teams of Adobe CC).

  

  I had the same problem and I fixed it by install adobe Creative cloud on another computer and explore enter $temp$ and get the file once the application starts download it and copied before the application, delete at another location and then install it on my computer.

  Animate edge is no longer on my list of applications in the creative cloud after installing the update. There is a Code of edge, edge inspect & edge of reflow. Is this something new? I learned just use animate it.

  So... how cool was THAT? It's back to the normal installed application office of the "latest Versions" CC list - and it was just an update. Everything is now updated - in versions of 2015.   Take care and you can continue learning edge animate without worry!

• Length Variable TEXT of JSON in edge Animation animate [v 2014.1.1]

  Hi all..

  I am currently conversion HTML & CSS & JAVASCRIPT code in Edge animate so I can have more fun with my little project, essentially the re-design it in Adobe Edge

  Part Composition edge information displays on the screen that is seized with a JSON encoded a PHP file, these recovered data is variable in length... It could be 10 characters in length or width of 30 characters. According to the total length of the characters I choose the time to animate the text from left to right (as a framing box)...

  It is important for me to explain here what to expect from this animation.

  Example:

  We have a wide rectangle of 100PX. If the json data is less than the width of the rectangle, then then the text should be left justified and stationary.

  If the json data is greater than the width of the rectangle then the animation should proceed as follows.

  START: justify text on the left and hide the text to the right which goes beyond the edge of the right side of the rectange.

  ANIMATE: move text to the left until the end of the text reaches the right side of the rectangle, then move to the position of starting with the loop.

  At the time I had the project in HTML & CSS & JAVASCRIPT format I lower the JSON data encoded in DIVs, then switch the DIV class according to the then the length of the data. If the width of parents ("outerDiv") has been less then data then the CSS .animate class would take over, otherwise, it would default to CSS .noAnimate

  Now I face on the issues to the JSON data alive in my Composition of edge.

  As I understand it, animate Dashboard will not allow animations out of JQuery so the foregoing CSS is basically usless.

  
  

  While I have no problem taking a simple fade in for my JSON like data below (stored in the symbol "nowPlay" where I put an opacity of the keyframe to 0% at zero seconds at 100% to 2 seconds im stumped as how to start to be converted to usable JQUERY )

  The final result if not completely understood is that if the width of the text is less than outside container then animate not from left to right... Otherwise, if the text is larger, then the width of the outer div then animate from left to right.
