  I have 2g mobile connection of vodafone. I can see, it is connected to the internet, am able to connect to the game store of google, facebook, but when I run whatsapp, it just cannot connect to the network?

  What can be the problem? Will I update my firmware?

  Settings > settings > in 'Wireless Networks' head go more... > networks > Access Point > Vodafone Live! must be selected... Then try to CHANGE IT BY 'VODAFONE CONNECT'.and...

  Actually works. Your connection turn off it is because the Wlan settings. Try

  ---> Wlan settings---> settings (via the left button)---> advanced---> keep Wlan on during sleep---> always.

  It's so simple like that, there is no problem on the firmware.

  I have my P780 for about 4 months. So far there is no problem with anything, but this problem came yesterday.

  My battery got completely emptied (and the phone turns off) just at the moment where I plugged in the charger. I checked the red indicator near speaker and it was brilliant - that's why he was in charge. I waited a few minutes give the battery a few time charging ot a bit, but after that the phone started not at all. I waited more - the red light stopped incandescent and phone has not started.

  Now, when I plug the phone to the charger, the red light lights only for a few moments and it goes off.

  I tried to restart - both buttons button and the buttons power + volume, but nothing works.

  Is this a problem with the battery or the ro the entire phone connector is down?

  Edit: phone also unresponsive when it is connected to the computer - I have seen some users describing when they have connected the phone to the PC, he showed as a usb connected device, but this isn't the case

  Unfortunately, I can't recommend a Lenovo's Service Center for mobiles. As you say, Lenovo phones have not officially been launched throughout Europe still if we are somewhat embarrassed by getting our phones served.

  There is a numnber in Russia which is for Russian and English that you can see at http://mobilesupport.lenovo.com/us/en/contactusmidh/supportphonelist otherwise you could try to return to the place you bought it from.

  Battery replacement is easy, the Lenovo site we even lists the P780 as having a battery replaceable by the user, the more difficult part will try to source a new at a good price.
