  According to the website of Panasonic, the only available driver is for Windows XP (see here: http://shop.panasonic.com/shop/model/PV-GS300?t=downloads&support#tabs). If it will work in Windows 7, it will do it in Compatibility Mode.

  To access this, right-click on the device and select Properties. In the window that opens, select the Compatibility tab, along the row from the top and from there, select run in compatibility mode and select Windows XP, Service Pack 2 in the drop-down list box. You can also see in administrative Mode. Make sure you click on apply, then OK.

  Is there a software out there that will get there?  What I need to do is act like a bigger screen for the camera.

  I think that the HDMI on your Air port was released only to screen external which is why you need the converter.

  In my opinion this is the wrong place to find device drivers external non-Toshiba but I hope someone will be able to help.

  In my opinion you should try to check some forum Panasonic to see if someone knows if Panasonic takes over certain Archives page where you can find this former driver download.
  You can also try to contact Panasonic support in your country. Maybe they can give you trick you can do. Perhaps Panasonic service provider in your country can help. Usually, they have access to all the databases.
