  • Parachuting works not with my laptop and iphone at home but works at my office?

    So, it's interesting.

At work my MacBook Pro and the iPhone have no problem with Airdrop. But when I come home they will not see each other. They are on the same network Wifi and Bluetooth and Wifi turned on!

Make sure that the MacBook Pro and iPhone are connected to the same Wi - Fi network. When you use a parachute, I suggest to change the settings to "everyone" where it says "who can see me?" while you are at home. Do this peut rectify the problem. If not, let me know simply by replying to this and I will send through additional assistance.

  • Parachuting from Mac to iPhone does not

    Hello

AIrDrop worked without problem for some time. But now I'm more able to transfer photos from my Mac to my iPhone or iPad. They appear not only in the sight of AirDrop in Finder. However, the reverse works perfectly. The Mac appears on both devices as a drop target and receives the files.

I turned off wifi and Bluetooth and rebooted my Mac and iDevcies. I even tried to sign and again to iCloud. Nothing helps.

ABY suggestion would be appreciated to get this working again!

Is your AirDrop on your Mac starts to work with the old Mac? Maybe that's the problem as the old Macs have no support with iOS release.

  • How to move an iMac iPhone project for further editing?

I have a project almost completed on my iPhone - can I move my iMac - if so how?

Share on a device nearby using drop

You can send your projects and video clips directly on another iOS device or a Mac with parachuting.

AirDrop works with iOS devices that have a connector of lightning or computers Mac with OS X Yosemite v10.10 or later version. AirDrop requires information of account and transfers iCloud by using Wi - Fi and Bluetooth technology. You must be on the same Wi - Fi network, or within about 30 feet (10 meters) from the other device. Transfers are encrypted for security.

    1. Do one of the following:
      • Theatre or video browser: Press the video clip you want to share.
      • Browser to the Projects: Tap on the project you want to share.
      • If you are editing a project: Tap done (in the upper left corner) to return to the project details screen.
    2. Press the Share button , then press the device you want to transfer to. If the other device does not automatically appear, make sure that AirDrop is activated for both devices in the Control Center on iOS or Finder on Mac.

    Share iTunes

To transfer your film or trailer to your Mac or another compatible iOS device (such as the iPad or iPhone), you can send the project to iTunes.

Tip: If the two devices work with AirDrop, you can transfer your project directly to another iOS device or a Mac using airdrop.

Sending a movie or a trailer to iTunes creates a consolidated version of the project - including all the video clips, audio clips and photos - which can be edited away. The original film or trailer is on the machine where it was created.

    1. In iMovie on your device, do one of the following:
      • Browser to the Projects: Tap on the project you want to share.
      • If you are editing a project: Tap done (in the upper left corner) to return to the project details screen.
    2. Press the Share button , press on iTunes, and then OK once the export is complete.
    3. Connect your device to your computer, and then open iTunes on your computer. After a few moments, your device is displayed in the window of the iTunes library.
    4. Click on the button of the device at the top of the iTunes window.
    5. Select the applications in the sidebar on the left.
    6. Select iMovie in the Apps list under file sharing (you may need to scroll down in the main window to see it).
    7. In the box of Documents iMovie, select the file that you just shared, and then click the button "save in" and save the file on your computer in a place where you can find it easily. Alternatively, you can save the file by dragging it to a location on your computer.
    8. Disconnect the device from your computer.

If your computer has iMovie for Mac 10.1 or later, you can double-click the file transferred to open your project in iMovie for Mac.To transfer your film or trailer from iTunes to another iOS device, see import from iTunes or iCloud.

  • iPhone 5 s OBVIOUS FLAW with iOS 9.3 - What are my real options

I need assistance in dealing with debris from this company of performance from my iPhone to my

ACCIDENTALLY ALLOWING them to upgrade my iOS 9.1/9.2 to 9.3...  My battery life

was perfectly good with 9.2.  I have CAREFULLY AVOIDED the updates when they have been tempted

me against my will.  The company deliberately seeks to force updates.

Long story short, 9.2 - charge held steady and strong all day. 9.3, this battery life

drops LIKE a ROCK - literally a minute-by-minute. I must now stop, interrupt my schedule to

follow these steps. RESET the phone... RECONFIGURE things to minimize everything that uses

resources of phones except absolute essentials... power cycle it again and again.

Nothing is working... I deliberately went out of my way to avoid this upgrade.  Why should I

accept lower performance of rank after being subjected to this unwanted upgrade.  What I can

to do about it. IS IT ALL kind of link or the arbitrator that gets customer resolution of this

Edition... This is so obviously a defect.  Why should not be allowed to get the reverse to the BONE

that worked perfectly well for me... Just TELL ME WHY, someone - the world of Apple.  IF

You can back up your argument, you should be able to put it there in public for us all of

hear.  Any lack of response means that it is a vice - so that is

said, what do I do to get my system restored - and why it should not be on YOUR dime... You have

NO right to force me to a system that I don't want and the phone does not immediately that I have

screwed and allowed your hard-to-avoid forced "reminder/update" - there is no parachute escape

Once the cycle begins and YOU KNOW - it is exclusive greed at the highest level.  Why do

alienate you customers with the WELL-KNOWN PROBLEMS that you do not recognize.

    Super-*.

Apple is not here, it is a forum for technical support to the user. And nobody is forced update you the iOS. If you want to tell us precisely what it is that you did, and how you have your camera set up, we can try to help.

I have an iPhone 5s that I updated the iOS on and have no problem with the battery life. The only time where my battery drops if I leave Bluetooth on. People said that Bluetooth does not use a lot of power, but I can always tell because my battery seems to pass more quickly. So, go figure...

  • Cannot get Mac pdf on iPhone.

    Hello

I have a fully software up-to-date mac and iphone.

I have a PDF around 20 MB of my mac, I want to read on my iPhone.

    I tried the following:

    • Added the PDF to my iBooks application. iBook is set to synchronize everything however the pdf if not appearing is not in iBooks on the iPhone
    • I parachuted the pdf to the iphone, the window of dialogue emerged with «Open in iBooks...» ». Then I pressed the iBooks option and it launched, but the pdf is not there. I tried several times but it opens just iBooks without opening the pdf file. I also checked that there is no filter on it and PDF files are displayed.

I checked and read a lot of pdf, so it is certainly the opening on mac iBooks and overview.

I want to just litrally open this document on my iPhone, it is a little too much email.

Can someone reccoemnd to other ways to read a PDF on my iphone?

    Thank you.

    Hello Wolfsoap,

Thank you for using communities of Apple Support.

I see that you are having problems with getting a PDF from your Mac to your iPhone. I have several things for you to check and two ways to do this.

I would first of all, take a look at your iPad, iPhone or iPod touch with iTunes on your computer via USB to sync and make sure you have correctly set synchronization upward.

Then, this article explains how on the synchronization of the PDF files on your iPhone: use iBooks with PDFs on your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch, more precisely, this section:

    Synchronize and save PDF files

The first time you open iBooks once you upgrade to iOS 9.3 or OS X 10.11.4, you will be prompted to use iCloud. Learn more about synchronization of your books and PDF documents using iCloud.
You can also add PDF files to your iTunes library on your computer by drag-and - drop the PDF file in your iTunes library. The files will be displayed when you prepare your device to synchronize. If you use OS X Mavericks or later, drag and drop your PDF documents into your library to iBooks using iBooks for Mac. All files PDF or iBook in your iBooks library are available to synchronize your device iOS through iTunes.
To synchronize a PDF from your computer to iBooks on your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch:
Select your iOS device. (Learn how to synchronize with iTunes).
    Under settings, click on books.
    Select Sync books.
If iTunes is set to sync only the selected books, make sure that there is to check the box next to the PDF file you want to synchronize.
    Click on synchronize.
You can also use iTunes to back up your PDF files. To transfer a PDF file on your computer and save them, transfer purchases from your device iOS to your computer. These files are not in an iTunes backup. Learn more about what is included in iTunes and iCloud backups.

And finally, this article provides information about synchronizing with iCloud drive:

Sync ePub, iBooks author books and PDFs with iBooks and iCloud

    Best regards.

  • Is it possible to transfer pictures from iPhone to macbook instantly

Is it possible to take pictures on the iPhone and it automatically sends to a Macbook right now? that is: without having to manually use parachuting etc.?

For example, as soon as I take a picture on the iPhone (or iPad), it automatically sends it right to the macbook (or iMac) without having to "manually" to initiate the transfer.

    Thank you.

You can use iCloud photo library. I don't know how "instant" is, but it certainly keeps your photos synchronized between your devices. Please keep in mind that iCloud as p.l. has other consequences that may or may not be to your liking. See this article for more details.

  • No AirPlay icon on iPhone 6

    Hello.

I got a new iPhone last September 6, and I can't find the AirPlay icon in the Control Center. This isn't something like "the icon has disappeared after the software upgrade"; the icon did not EXIST SINCE THE BEGINNING. I went to connect to my Mac, today, and I realized that I can not find the AirPlay icon anywhere. I also did a search in the framework, but I can't find it. There was only of parachuting.

Here is some information that might be useful.

    1. my iPhone and Mac have the software up to date. 9.2.1 iOS for iPhone and iOS X El Capitan 10.11.3 for Mac.

    2. the two devices are on the same wifi.

    3. I tried a few solutions available online, such as restart and change the phone language, but none of them worked.

Anyone know any solution? If this is not the case, what I can do to reflect the screen of my iPhone on Mac?

    Thank you!

The Butan AirPlay id o the iPhone detecta visible if a receiver AirPlay nearby such as the Apple TV.

  • iPhone videos don't import is not iPhoto but are no longer on iPhone

My videos from the iPhone are not imported into iPhoto. I tried the photo stream as well as manually import via USB. However, the problem is really in the fact that the thumbnails are still on my phone, but not readily available to share. For example, if I click to play a video on my phone that I had tried to import, it's almost like his in the clouds and the needs of 'prepare' be seen or shared (the small wheel spins for a LONG time before it's ready to see). I can't send a video to myself, download on my computer, and then import it into iPhoto like that, but each video takes 5-10 minutes to 'prepare' itself on my phone before I can send it. This process would take hours for all videos in the past months. I tried parachuting, but my phone will not see my iMac. Any suggestions other than slowly by email each individual video? Thank you!

I tried the photo stream as well as manually import via USB.

My photo stream does not work with videos, see: My Photo Stream FAQ - Apple Support

So either send photos or import them using a USB connection.

You have iCloud library enabled? Active storage "optimize"?  This would explain, you see only the photos on your iPhone.   In this case download the videos to your Mac to iCloud and no iPhone.

You can download videos from your iCloud to https://www.icloud.com/ page

Sign and open the Photos.app, then click on the Albums tab and open the album «Vidéos»

Select the videos you want to download.

  • Why audio played by QuickTime cut on my iPhone?

I exported a few songs my recorder of 6 tracks of my MacBook. I then parachuted the songs to my iPhone, but they don't play all along. It stops at halfway then I have to unlock the screen of the iPhone and hit play again. Why it does this? They are btw wav files...

    Hello

Have you tried to play the songs without putting your iPhone in standby? If you put it to sleep, or if it isn't go to sleep which could be the reason why your songs are stop. If this does not help, others around forums have suggested that you can try to reboot your iPhone, if you do not know here's how:

    • Press and hold the sleep/wake button until the Red slider appears
    • Drag the Red slider to turn off your phone completely
    • Once the phone is off, press and hold the sleep/wake button until the Apple logo appears.

    I hope this helps
