  I have a project where I try to add the paragraphs of the text to flow around a form of bean. The form is divided into 16 sections and each section has a single paragraph of text that must follow its own section of the curve. I don't want any deformation or distortion of the text and so far, the only solution I know is to manually create and lines of text link which is a lot of work compared to just power curve a set text box. Is this possible?

  You can add a paragraph with customization of the OFA.

  Create an item using one of the following styles
  -Message style text
  -Plain text
  -Tip
  -Static text style

  Type your field prompt text (or text element style tip).

  In the style of the Tip element, you can take advantage of EBS messages and message defined in the application.

  I want to create the reference, which is the link to the paragraphs (or text anchor) another indesign file (new.indd).

  My first problem is how to get all the paragraphs or anchor text of the file new.indd

  I have a TextFrame whose content is Adobe Indesign.

  I want to apply an Adobe Indesign link reference to the paragraphs with the Destination Documents: new.indd.

  When I run this script it gives error "the destination is not valid. You can create Cross - reference to anchor text or destination of the paragraph.

  You can create cross-references to anchor points and paragraphs. If you need create an anchor text in new.indd, then use as the target of the cross reference:

• Trouble with the pdf form trying to "choose" one of the two paragraphs of text

  I am creating a PDF form and trying to find a way to choose one of the two groups of text that are approximately long paragraph. and having only the one I choose are visible on my pdf.  I tried to use a drop-down list, but it wouldn't accmodate the amount of text that I needed

  I've added a new field of text (multiline) and put the java script in the section actions, just as you typed.  When I run the shape there is no box to choose and is not my default text (the text box is empty).  When I click outside the text box and then comes my 2 paragraph.

  Are there tabs between the catalogue number and description text and text and price (?)? If this isn't the case, you can easily add them?

  If so:

  1. Add a tab the first dash remote

  2. turn left at that same number

  3. set back from front-line to the less that number

  -It supports the left indent. Then,

  4. Add a right-aligned tab at the right possible position - all the way at the end of the text block. Do not try to 'drag' marker tab enter any where inside the rule of the tab, and then type the exact number. This figure will be the width of your text block.

  5 put a dash on the right to a reasonable value - this will be the distance where you want as your long descriptions to fragmented.

  6. set a final withdrawal line unless this same number.

  If you find that the last before Word of the tab and the price (?) can sneak to the top too close to the price, type an em space just before the tab.

  I did something that caused the following to happen:

  1. whenever I have put some text in ID CC victory, my text automatically turns pink and has a certain title font - this comes from one of my character styles.

  2. when I then selects a paragraph style, nothing happens. The paragraph style to display I return to character styles and select style - NO.

  Can you tell me how to get this action to stop and instead, to get a specific paragraph style to become default for all set text?

  Make sure that you do not have the selected character or paragraph styles

  This paragraph is dynamic, but the paragraph usually stay in the same order. Which means that the welcome message, worded, then a form E12 - XX number and so on are in the general order. Of course, E12 - XX ' XX' can be many possibilities and the price and date.

  How to write javascript code to copy only form number "E12 - XX" of this text of the 'SUBJECT' field and paste to another text field 'FORMNUMBER '? Here's what I want to do on its own form.

  SUBJECT TEXT FIELD

  "Thank you for your recent contact with the XYZ Company. We have the attached form E12-89 and evaluate your offer. We find, after review of your shipment at XYZ, we can fufull your offer to $178,29 with an end date of April 19, 2008...

• Problem with styles of framework and the paragraph of text

  I have a book with a number of documents in it. In one of the documents, there is a problem with blocks of text and paragraph styles. When I create a new text frame, text in it and apply a paragraph style, the style does not apply correctly. Elements of applied and others do not. For example, bullets and numbered lists apply but italic, and font size are not. It only happens with new blocks of text, and the oldest work very well.

  This does not happen in other documents, just one.

  The book is properly synchronized and synchronization options include all options.

  Check your panels styles, paragraph, character and the object with nothing selected. If there is an already established style name, and I think that it would be in the Panel character styles, that's your problem.

  On such a project, you should set the paragraph Styles you want. Then, it's a simple matter to change Style definitions.

• Made final paragraphs of text distorts the text?

  I have several paragraphs that I have animated and rendered using the DV model in CS4. These paragraphs have been made as avi files for use in a video NLE program: Sony Vegas Pro 8.

  Before making the comps, I saw in a RAM Preview and they worked perfectly, however when you view final render, they showed the distortion as displaced paragraphs from the bottom of the screen upwards. There is no effects applied to these paragraphs, the just position of the bottom of the screen you travel at all just from the top of the screen. How can I smooth out the text as it moves?

  The computer everything is about 10 seconds long; the text moves over a period of 5 seconds and then stops and the model continues another 5 seconds without action (to give enough time for the public to read). After stops in the text, it is clear (without distortion). It is only distorted as it moves upward. How smooth the text as it moves?

  When you have added your film to the render queue, click the output module. There, choose Quicktime as an export format and click on 'Format Option'.

  In the compression type select DV - PAL or DV - NTSC depending on your location (PAL for Europe, NTSC for the Japan & US).

  At the bottom of the dialog box, you have 2 options, the option in the field (interlaced or progressive) and IRON (pixels, 4:3 or 16:9 format).

  In the field select Progressive option.

  Then click ok and make your movie. Tell me then if you still see the distortion, but I hope you won't.

  Don't forget to check the help rendered& exporting pages, a bunch of cool stuff is in there.

  If this isn't the case, I'm changing all the "BOLD" text to the regular in a very large file, which also contains the regular formatted text. You can imagine that it can take a very long time.   Use the buttons to the right to locate occurences change if you want to find, then, if you do not have.

  If you need to change a lot on consecutive pages, first select the range of text and change all the... but be careful and be prepared to cancel if you change too.
