Parental door on DPS?

We have created an app for children using DPS, but Apple rejected it for two reasons. The largest is the following:

24.3

We noticed that you have named your app as mainly intended for children under 13, but it includes links outside the app or engages in trade without parental permission. This is not in conformity with the App Store Review Guidelines.

Specifically, your application includes In - App purchases that are not behind a parent grid. Is according to the standards of the App Store Review Guidelines, purchases must be behind a grid of parental and parental portal cannot be disabled.

Looks like that DPS cannot apply a parental portal to stop children to buy questions without asking the parents... Is this correct?

If you can help me with this, I attach images...

You're right, it is not a good way of this DPS. We talked with their staff, and they obstructionisme to introduce a universal solution.

Their position is that, as a corporate customer, you can use a custom showcase to perform blocking if necessary. (And if you are not a client of the company, you're probably SOL.)

Which leaves you without a door way Kids when they click on a link in a folio without the need to have some sort of webview on each page as well.

  • Parental Portal suggestions?

    Hello

    I wonder if someone could help me please? I'll submit app magazine a new child to Apple and to do a Parental Portal inside, so she can appear in iTunes Kids section. I understand THAT DPS is not capable of managing the Parental doors, so I was wondering if anyone knew a different way, I could understand one? Your help will be very appreciated as having application in the iTunes Kids section is kind of essential.

    Thank you very much

    Vincent

    We do not explicitly support parental gates. I'm not super familiar with them, but according to Apple: "Parental gates are used in apps targeted to children to prevent them from engaging in trade or by following the links on an application for Web sites, social networks or other applications without the knowledge of their parent or guardian."

    Just so make sure that:

    (1) you do not offer anything other than toll free numbers in your magazine (no trade)

    (2) do not all links into your content to websites external (no outside links)

    (3) do not allow social sharing (not social networks)

    If you want to support the purchases questions then you would need Enterprise edition and should build a custom store front that sets up a kind of parental Portal before allow you the purchase to proceed.

  • JavaScript will not run if a cfdocument tag is in a document

    I have a popup form action page that opens with the form/target = "_blank" attribute.

    The new document is an insert in the database and then creates a PDF file by using the < cfdocument > tag.

    I try to update some items on the page of the form parent/door, because it is common for the customer to continue to use the parent, make changes, and then generate PDF one another. If I comment on the < cfdocument > tag that my code works very well, the parent document is updated as I had hoped.

    I don't know how to do this, much appreciated help!

    Thank you, Lyndon

    JavaScript, I am running just before the tag < cfdocument >:

    < script >

    window.opener.document.getElementById('photoListTitle').innerHTML = "test update";

    < /script >

    Attributes of the tag:

    < cfdocument

    localUrl = "yes".

    format = "PDF".

    pageType = "custom".

    pageWidth = "2.2".

    pageHeight = "3.375".

    marginBottom = '0 '.

    marginTop = '0 '.

    marginLeft = '0 '.

    marginRight = '0 '.

    orientation = "portrait".

    backgroundVisible = 'yes '.

    fontEmbed = 'true '.

    (filename="pdfs/#Replace(BadgPhotoName,'.jpg','.pdf','All') #

    Overwrite = "true" >

    HTML...

    < / cfdocument >

    What happens when the PDF file is generated?  It is automatically downloaded in the browser?  Have you tried to use a hidden iFrame and some sort of notification modal to show that the file is generated?  You have the page iframe trigger a function of parent to update HTML and return the link to the PDF file (so that it is not downloaded automatically).  The files that are uploaded automatically performs a reset and everything anything until the download of the file is ignored.

  • Can not get the position of the - invalid parent node

    My team has just started to use the Muse of creating HTML DPS Article. In order to maintain interactivity familiar or similar to what our customers have been used to with articles based on InDesign, we use Widgets of Muse-topics in our files.

    I met a problem that I'm not sure is associated - widget. Trying to use the widget of Muse-theme pushy shutters, I received this error when you are trying to preview:

    "Can't get the position of note - invalid parent."

    Screen Shot 2016-02-10 at 10.17.19 PM.png

    Initially, we had 2 cases of the active widget - for 2 different breakpoints (using the latest version with sensitive provision). I removed one instance of the widget, but still have the error. I tried exchanging and removed the other instance - still have the error.  I went up to remove TWO instances of the widget, and the file STILL generated the error.  I thought that since the upstart components is no longer present, maybe just having Graphic Styles covered in the Parent/child agreement attempts to call something (I obviously don't know Muse very well yet...). So, I removed all instances of graphic themes as well, and again, Muse has generated the error even on preview.

    I'm really at a loss... What generates this kind of thing. My file is corrupt? What can I do to fix this?

    Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you

    Tommy

    I think we have tracked the issue down for, quite simply, a source image missing who was left on the disk hard of the original designer, rather than on the server where the site is hosted. UGH!

  • Windows DPS problems

    Hello

    We had prior experience with html/javascript on DPS. On IOS, we are able to debug this html/javascript using the safari browser default webdeveloper-safari for mac tools.

    On android, we have not encountered problems with javascript and yet, the javascript engine is fairly mild.

    A customer now wants to run an existing brochure DPS on a Tablet mobile windows because the Viewer is out on DPS. We have deviated from its first application because the viewer was relatively new and we had not found any way to debug the html and Js.

    Anyone can join a method of HTML/JS debugging for windows mobile. I don't think he uses the same browser as OS because the html/js IE11 works quite well.

    The only thing I didn't know was that the useragent of the browser is: "Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.3;" ARM; Trident/7.0; Touch; MSAppHost/2.0; (RV:11.0) as the Gecko.

    If you have more information about the html/js debugging of DPS on android, say.

    Thanks in advance!

    Nick

    Thanks for sharing. Here's the (very detailed) response of our developer:

    This is mainly because IE in strict on security.

    The problem is that the "work" page does not work as an iframe.  Tent Access window.frameElement throws an access denied error (in jQuery 1.10) window.frameElement just null when the page is loaded, not in an iframe, so why it works directly in the browser.

    Downstream of this, jQuery is not defined.

    The work page still works in a Web (tested via a simple test application) mode.

    In short, it is a bug in jQuery for IE11 1.10.  Things to try would be jquery 1.10 patch, demotion to 1.9, etc...

    A possible solution without hardening jquery is to run the iframe in an iframe, so that frameElement is owned by the same domain: it could prevent the exception.  Don't know what (if any) communications are needed between the parent page and the iframe, and if an intermediary which would make impossible (I don't think it would be fundamentally different).

    Another solution is to have the Web mode be a remote webview in the folio, are not together the content inside.

  • Why is forgetful of Parental control?

    Why Parental controls (often, not always) forget and do not take account of my settings?

    I have, for example, deselected some apps, but when my daughter logs in to his account on our MBP she gains unfettered access.

    Is there a sequence in which the parameters must be defined? What I am doing wrong?

    Hi CreativeSmith,

    I understand that you are experiencing some problems with getting the parental controls and Restrictions work correctly on your Mac running macOS Sierra. Please take a look at the links below to verify that you have the Parental control configuration correctly.

    macOS Sierra: set up parental controls

    Please use the Apple Support communities to post your question. This should have the Parental control to function as it should.

  • Siri is disabled by the Parental control on macOS Sierra admin account

    I just installed macOS Sierra today on my 13 "Mac Book Pro (early 2011). I have only one user account that is an administrator account. Siri is not enabled on my machine. When I go to the Siri system preferences screen, it says that "Siri is disabled by Parental control. Hmmm, when I check the Parental control screen, it says "you logged in using an administrator account." You can only apply parental controls to accounts that are not administrator accounts. »

    What happens here?

    Same problem here. Updated for Sierra of El Capitan on MacBookPro 15 "(mid - 2014).

    Even if I toggle the checkbox on the Parental control > others > disable Siri & dictation I can't activate Siri, the checkox is always gray and the alert says "Siri is disabled by Parental control.

    Siri is enabled if I login as a burst, but I need it on my Admin account of course. Very annoying.

  • Apple: Can allow you parents more control over the access of children iTunes?

    Parental restrictions on mini iPad 16 GB of my granddaughter running iOS 9.3.5 (original version) do not seem to allow parents to control properly the child access iTunes. We have music, news and Podcasts (iTunes), reserved for the 'Clean' as opposed to 'Explicit', but he is always happy that we find unacceptable.

    Apple or someone you suggest a way to further control access of the child to the iTunes app?

    If not, then... Apple - there must be a way to create a framework between Clean and Explicit. You please solve this problem?

    There are other parents who have the same problem?

    Thanks for your thoughts / feedback.

    I want my son to be able to access his account Gmail school and Google allow to complete the tasks for the school, but I can't seem to make it work with Parental controls.  Help, please!  (Preferably using Firefox.)

    Snow Leopard work well with GMAIL or Google might lead, if the computer in your signature is able to run the latest operating systems.  Before upgrading, read this tip

    Review the settings POP or IMAP for GMAIL if it's available as those who will work with the Apple Snow Leopard mail application.

  • Parental Controls 10.6.8 - not allowing specified websites

    Hello!  I set up parental controls to 'Allow access only to those sites' and the system is blocking some Web sites, I have authorized (e.g., khanacademy.org and weather.com).  How is it?  Is it possible to fix it?

    Thank you

    Dawn

    Weather.com is stuffed with ads, and probably blocking is due to advertising websites on their site.  Go to http://www.weather.gov which is much more accurate and no advertising.

  • Parental control for iphone zone

    I have parental controls on my iphones of teenagers. I can also set the AT & T data time limits. Adolescents simply change the time zone of the iphone so they can walk using data when they aren't supposed to.

    How can I prevent adolescents to change the time zone on their phones?

    Soccer Mom

    You can not. The time zone on the phone setting should not have anything to do with AT & T cellular data limits. Those based on time on the cell towers. Contact AT & T

    Or just take the phone away from them if they can't be trusted to follow the rules.

  • How can I reset an admin password used for Parental control?

    6 months ago, I found my daughter was using his mac laptop for reasons of distracting and I decided to install parental control.  I used a password specific to do on his laptop computer.  She has since learned his lesson and now has some access to the school.  I forgot the password.  How can I reset?

    -Jason

    Do you mean you forgot all the passwords for administrative accounts for Mac?

    All you have to do is to go into System Preferences > Parental controls and click on the padlock in the lower left and admin user and password and then click on the device in the lower left corner and disable Parental control for the selected user

  • If I get a separate apple account that my parents will be it spoil the phone bills

    I want to know if I have an account, will we separate invoices?

    After splitting Apple ID has no effect on the invoice you receive from your mobile telephone service provider. You can have your Apple ID/iTunes account won and it will not increase the Bill.

    Maybe you and your parents should focus on sharing family.

  • Parental control &amp; YouTube

    I turned on parental controls, and all of a sudden my Youtube app is gone, is anyway to prevent this app to disappear? I tried to allow youtube.com in the Web sites section to allow restrictions, but that did not help. Any ideas?

    The app is rated 17 +, so if you want to restrict apps it be hidden – the only way to stop that is not to restrict apps (which allows to youtube.com as a website will allow it on Safari, it won't unlock the app)
