  I have the first Elements 4 in Windows 7, 8 and 8.1 64bits. No problems. In the properties/Compatibility tab, I leave "run this program in compatibility mode for" unchecked. I have to right click on the first Elements 4, select run as administrator, even though I have worked for a user with the privileges of the administrator account. Then, focus on the angle of permissions a little more.

  I'm having two issues probably related. The first is that Firefox is oddly loading some pages: e.g. addons.mozilla.org while in other browsers that they load fine.   Yet once again, I don't have this problem with other browsers - unless you count waterfox who has these same problems that probably should since it is built off the coast of firefox. I tried to uninstall and reinstall and clear the cache and cookies, none of this has had no effect. These two problems started at the same time. Seems to me to get the problem loading error on all XPI links, or at the very least, I saw, for instance, I had to grasp the info manually troubleshooting because when I clicked on the link to automatically add it got the same error (https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/downloads/latest/426841/addon-426841-latest.xpi) but it is not only get links that contains .xml files for example I first noticed the problem a similar site to the newsletter, I wish I could understand the name or even had my story, so I could find it.   I am running 20.0 Firefox on my Mac. My operating system is OS X 10.8.3. Some sites Web does very well. Some are starting to load up, but never end. The color wheel spins and I have to force quit.   I have a very annoying problem with Firefox. Some pages not loading, randomly. Other browsers work fine. I tried to disable all add-ons, I reset firefox, I tried safe mode. Nothing works. When a page does not load, I go to advanced/network/configuration and change the setting between 'no proxy', 'use system settings' and 'auto-detect' proxy. I try to reload each time, sometimes try to go to another page and then come back. Finally the page I want loads. Sometimes it loads when I just of the cycle on the same setting, as it was before! It makes no sense to me. I'm on MAC OSX 10.8.5 and have no proxy at the system level settings (all boxes are unchecked).

  Any help would be appreciated! I don't want to change chrome, but I'll be forced to if I can't solve this problem! (annoyingly, the page did not load when I tried that submits the first time...)
