  My program has two lines of text, stacked one on the other.

  they adjust to another, depending when the text is entered so that it remains a pretty square.

  the problem is that I can't get the text on the top bars to resize the text on the bottom bar.

  Note, it works the other way around, the background text resizes the text at the top of the page.

  any help would be apperciated.

  Copy and paste the code that you use.  I can't debug code which is related but not the same as the code you are using.

  In addition, use the trace() function to check the values that you have control and copy and paste the output too.

  You must manually create an empty movieclip and place it on the stage in the upper left corner on a background layer of the main timeline.  Then, assign it an instance name of "backgroundMC" This movieclip is where the code will place all the matrix elements to be created.

  To create an empty movieclip, in the toolbar at the top of the page, select Insert-> new symbol-> Movieclip... assign a symbol name as "Virgin mc" or something so that you know what it is to return to the main document choose edition--> the main Document, and then drag a copy of the new movieclip to the upper-left corner of the stage.

  When it is still selected, assign it an instance name "backgroundMC" in the properties panel, where it says "" (you can name it what you want, but I'm just using background MC for this example to work.

  If you did this correctly, the matrix will be limited now to be in this context movieclip and you can place another object above it in the other layers.

  There are two editable texts (unrasterized/editable)... The two applied shadow effects... They are very close together, so the shadow effect over top of the lower layer on layer.

  Group the two layers turn off the shadows on the layers and add the style to the group.

  When you download a file in the APEX, it is temporarily stored in the WWV_FLOW_FILES table object. (Oracle has a good tutorial on how to create a file download process). If you keep the (unique) file ID you passed to the next page. So this page can take the file and move it to a final destination.

  This option exists only for AS1 and AS2, so you need to set your publication settings for one of the item variable to be available for a textfield.

  The use of this feature can be problematic, so it's best to use only the text property of the textfield object to read and assign values to the TextField.

  I met another problem, that I would like to learn more. In my project I have a line of code that looks like this:

  I assumed would read as follows: If my_mc_0 hits (graphically) my_mc_1 my_mc_2 GOLD it will execute the code in the if statement.

  BUT that's not true, it runs as if it is written like this: if (my_mc_0.hitTestObject (my_mc_1));

  What is a syntax error or is not possible or only possible in another method? Maybe there is a different function?

  There is no FlowGroupElement.getChildAtIndex method.

  There are these two:

  		getChildAt (index:int):element FlowElement Returns the child of the FlowElement element at the specified index.	FlowGroupElement
  		getChildIndex (child:element FlowElement):int Searches in children for the specified element FlowElement object and returns its index location.	FlowGroupElement

  I think you meant getChildAt.

  because you are trying to download the framework tlf with adobe.

  a cure: click on file/publish settings/flash/actionscript 3.0 settings/library path / default select link merged into the code.
