Passing between pages PHP session variable

I'm sure this must be fairly simple, but I don't use very often.

Basically, I'm moving a session of an age to another.

On the first page, I have this:

<? PHP

@session_start ();

if ("" == "")     {

$_SESSION ['Lodge_GSG_URL'] = ' ".". " $row_rs_Lodge ["GSG_URL"]. » « ;"

}

? >

And on this page, I cannot repeat the session correctly using:

<? PHP echo $_SESSION ['Lodge_GSG_URL'];? >

On the second page, I have that, but it does not display anything:

<? PHP

session_start();

echo $_SESSION ['Lodge_GSG_URL'];

? >

If someone could help that would be much appreciated.

Thank you!

Try to assign information that you extract from the database to a variable, then move this information to the next page by using the variable $_SESSION:

@session_start ();

if ("" == "")     {

$variable = $row_rs_Lodge [GSG_URL'];

$_SESSION ["Lodge_GSG_URL"] = $variable;

}

?>

  • PHP Session variable in-app

    Hi, I'm pretty sure it's a n00bish question, but I'll have the session variable is problem when between php execs.

    So when the user connects, user id is stored in the session variable so I can use it throughout the app. However, the session variable is clearly not stored and throws a fit. I figured exit() destroys the session but that is not the case.

    I can, however, create a local variable for the user id, but I wondered how session variables are stored and retrieved.

    There is no treatment level OS things like cookies and session in Java variables.  You will have to do it yourself.

    When the value on P2_NOTE I default it please I get a good result.

    How should I address P2_NOT?

    You do a redirect when you submit the page.

    Redirection applies the value when rendering the button submit where applies the value of the text box in the browser when sending.

  • Use PHP Variables between pages: Session, URL, or Get

    Hello

    For our association, I developed a registration page.  Registration pages insert a record into a mysql database, using php.  After the user submits the form (by using $post), I want to be redirected to the confirmation page where a mysql database query is executed to retrieve the record, the Member has been added.

    To pass the variable, I have developed the following pages using a session variable.

    Registration page: http://www.aosweb.org/member_dues.php

    Confirmation page: http://www.aosweb.org/member_view.php

    Although I asked recently changes to the code, it worked at the same time.  The forum was helpful to get the information I needed.  At this point, the redirect, and the passage of the session variable does not work.  It seems that the available on the page member_view session variable is of the last inserted record.  Thus, the query that is run on member_view returns no result.

    I checked some of the forum posts, such as:

    -php url parameters

    -How to pass parameters of form to confirm page...

    -php help registration page!

    My questions outstanding are as follows:

    1 have I placed the order to set the $_session ('sv_mem_num') in the right place.

    2 should I consider another method such as a URL or by using the Get method parameter.

    Thank you.

    George

    $insertGoTo = ' member_confirm.php? mark = ". $_POST ['Member_Num']. » « ;"

    If (isset {}
    $insertGoTo. = (strpos ($insertGoTo, '?'))? "&" : "?";
    $insertGoTo. = $_SERVER ['QUERY_STRING'];
    }

    What is happening is that the Dreamweaver code is looking for an existing query string and add it. The problem is that you put a query string in your redirect page, which translates as the ampersand is added at the end. That's how I want to change it:

    // set the redirect to the target page without a query string
    // then let Dreamweaver check for an existing query string
    $insertGoTo = "member_confirm.php;
     if (isset($_SERVER['QUERY_STRING'])) {
     $insertGoTo .= (strpos($insertGoTo, '?')) ? "&" : "?";
     $insertGoTo .= $_SERVER['QUERY_STRING'];
     }

    // if a query string has been added, add the memid at the end
    // otherwise, create a query string to add memid
    if (strpos($insertGoTo, '?')) {
     $insertGoTo .= '&memid=' . $_POST['Member_Num'];
    } else {
     $insertGoTo .= '?memid=' . $_POST['Member_Num'];
    }

  • PHP Mail with session variables

    Here is the code for an email to collect page, which sends two session variables (email and postal code) to an email_sub.php page (data are inserted in MySQL). After submitting the form, I get the email_sub.php? page where this code works normally

    <? PHP echo $_SESSION ['email'];? >

    <? PHP echo $_SESSION ['postal code'];? >

    However, when the email is sent, the "subject" and the "To" is successfully sent, but not the variables $email and $zipcode.

    From:
    Zip code:

    If I hard code for values of and Zip, they appear in the email. It seems therefore that session variables are not available at the email_sub.php page.

    If anyone can point me in the right direction for a fix, I'd be very happy to suggestions.

    It seems that you do not use session variables when you send the mail:

    mail('[email protected], [email protected]',
    'Join Email List',
    "From: $email\r\n Zip: $zipcode");

    Change to this:

    'From: ' . $_SESSION['email'] . "\r\n Zip: " .
    $_SESSION['zipcode']);

  • ADF refresh page with page fragments jsff jsf after the set session variable

    Hello.

    I have a model that includes a button that allows you to select a profile, you push the button appear available profiles, choose one and press to accept. After that, I put a variable session successfully.

    I have a page of 'First' of jsf with two fragments of page jsff after seeing a link. The display link is composed by a headerView and detailView. The headerView had a variable binding. What I need, is that this parameter (bindVariableParameter) can be defined by the session of the model variable.

    That's what I get:

    I am in a homepage (separate Application Module), model button is pushed until I load "first" jsf page and after that, I go to the page jsf 'First', that information is loaded successfully. What I do in the Application Module is something like this:

    protected void prepareSession (one session) {}

    SessionScope card = ADFContext.getCurrent () .getSessionScope ();

    Company string = (String) sessionScope.get ("compId");

    System.out.println ("Default Comapny in British Colombia is:" + company);

    super.prepareSession (session);

    this.getSession () .getUserData () .put ("The company", company);

    System.out.println ("after the definition userData value card BC");

    }

    And in the variable binding expression of the headerView that I use:

    adf.userSession.userData.Company

    It works very well! But!

    When I press the button again and I chose another profile, the info is not updated. In the headerView or in the detailView.

    Also, when I go to the 'First' jsf page (without previously pressing the button model), I had no info, which is just, because I have no session variable. After I have press the model and select the profile, but the page is not refreshed.

    I tried many ways to this, but I'm lost.

    Could you help me?

    Kind regards.

    I'm not sure that understand your use case. What do I get, you set a parameter after that you press a button on the home page to pass this parameter to the first.jsf.

    Why don't you implement a method of the application module and call it directly with the parameter. The session of preparation will not be called whenever you browse but only init am.

    Do you need the parameter in the layer model or only in the display?

  • How to pass data from a SWF in a page php using InDesign?

    Hello

    I'm currently trying to create a system of star ratings in InDesign CC. essentially, a user clicks a star that is associated with a number in a field text preset, the number will be passed to a php page, the php page is updating a database, and then the user will be directed to a separate page that will present to him the number of the star selected, with an average of all ratings.

    I wanted to do it all in html and php, but I have to keep the shape of PAS to the swf format. Originally, I made each star go to a separate php page. Page php the contained value. It worked well, but it make much sense to have the swf go on multiple php pages.

    I wish I could click on a star who will submit a predefined form (if I click on the first star, he would submit '1') to a php page. I created a button on each star that 'Go To URL' and 'Submit form', but my php page does not display numbers. I have numbers in separate text fields, each one labeled accordingly. For example, 1 is labeled as 'one' in the name of buttons and forms. Is the name of the text field variable sent to the php page with the number value?

    My php is incorrect. I deleted all the fields of text, except one and tried using both GET and POST in the following way:

    <? PHP

    echo 'Hello ';

    echo $_POST ['a'];

    echo $_GET ['a'];

    ? >

    Instead of showing "Hello 1" I show only "Hello".

    It is even possible to send data to predefined form of a swf file to a php page? I use the names of right?

    Essentially, a user clicks a star that is associated with a number in a predefined text field, the number will be passed to a php page, the php page is updating a database,

    You won't be able to do this with an InDesign generated SWF. The only way to establish a connection to a database of Flash is via a combination of Actionscript connecting to PHP in Zend AMF, that writes to the database.

    Introduction - Zend_Amf - Zend Framework

    You will need to write ActionScript that connects to the AMF PHP in a FLA and compile the SWF of Flash file or code FlashBuilder.

  • OBIEE11g - by passing the quick values between pages of dashboard

    Hello

    I'm working on OBIEE 11.1.1.3 and need help on the question of the value of guests passing between the dashboard pages.

    Scenario:
    -J' built 2 reports of the separate fact tables. Customers and products are the common dimensions between these fact tables. Temporal dimension is different for each of them.
    -J' have a dashboard and 2 pages it contains - Page1 and Page2.

    Page1:
    -J' have a dashboard guest with filters product, customer and year.
    -J' have a relationship with the product, customer, year and income of the columns.
    -J' have an Action - "Click here" link, which directs the user to page 2.

    Page2:
    -J' have a dashboard guest with filters product, customer and week.
    -J' have a relationship with the customer, product, week and Total Volume of the columns.

    I select some values in Page1 guests and generate a report. Then I click on the "Click here" action link, which will take me to page 2.

    Now, on page 2, I want the common guests (product and customer) have default selected as the values that were selected in the common guests on Page1. And, as a result, the report on page 2 must be generated.

    Tried solutions:
    1. added the below javascript in page 1, but the link that is clicked, does nothing.

    < script >
    function navigateToPage2()
    {
    DashboardChangePage ('path to Page2');
    }
    < /script >
    Click here

    2. I put a Variable presentation when you select a value in a prompt on Page1. But I am unable to set this as the default valie variable in the corresponding prompt on Page2.

    Ask what the experts kindly suggest how I can get this to work.

  • Help with the session variable PHP CS5.5 - Please

    Hi all

    I am needing a little help with the help of a session variable, and I hope someone can point me in the right direction.

    I created a PHP page that uses the Dreamweaver 'User authentication' feature and the basics of this works very well, to direct a user to the correct page depending on whether they are or are not a valid user. I want to customize the page 'user valid' with people, user name entered in the authentication of the user table... a seemingly simple task using a session variable, but I just seem not to be able to make it work!

    First of all, the text highlighted in red above seems to be setting the session variable that I need. Is this correct?

    If so, what is the code that I need to put on page 2 to use this session variable? or

    I have to do something else on the page 1 to correctly assign the session variable?

    Would be very grateful for your expertise

    Mark

    It seems that you put the columns incorrectly in the user authentication server behavior. This is the SQL query that checks the credentials of the user:

    $LoginRS__query = sprintf ("SELECT firstname, name OF web_access WHERE firstname = %s AND family name = %s",

    GetSQLValueString ($loginUsername, "text"), GetSQLValueString ($password, "text"));

    You are looking for first name and last name, while you should look for the user name and password of the user.

    $_SESSION ['MM_Username"] is a session variable that stores the login name of the user. To use it in a page, all that is needed is the page start with session_start(). You can then echo the value to display.

    If you want to display the person's true name, you must create a recordset in the second page, use of $_SESSION ['MM_Username'] to search for the first name and the patronymic. Alternatively, you can change the code like this (I copied only part of it):

    $LoginRS__query = sprintf ("SELECT firstname, surname OF web_access WHERE firstname = %s AND password is %s",

    GetSQLValueString ($loginUsername, "text"), GetSQLValueString ($password, "text"));

    $LoginRS = mysql_query ($LoginRS__query, $panto) or die (mysql_error ());

    $loginFoundUser = mysql_num_rows ($LoginRS);

    If {($loginFoundUser)

    $loginStrGroup = "";

    $row = mysql_fetch_assoc ($LoginRS);

    $_SESSION ['full_name'] = $row ["FirstName"]. ' ' . $row ['name'];

    If (via PHP_VERSION > = 5.1) {session_regenerate_id (true) ;} else {session_regenerate_id() ;}

    Declare two session variables and assign them

    $_SESSION ['MM_Username"] = $loginUsername;

    $_SESSION ["MM_UserGroup"] = $loginStrGroup;

    You can then use $_SESSION ['full_name'] in a page which begins with session_start().

  • Branch to the same page with different session variables

    Hello guys,.

    Is there a way that allows to create a branch that redirect to the same page with a different set of values for session variables. Or is it an effective way to add the buttons after that moves through the consecutive records in the pre and oracle apex.

    hope someone can help me.

    Kind regards.

    -shashikahk-

    is there a way to add the following buttons and pre

    If you create a form using the wizard pages, Apex will automatically create these buttons in some cases (as in a master form / retail).

    Create a master page / detail demo so you can see how it works. Apex creates a pre-rendering process:

    Get the value of the primary key next or previous

    Some of the hidden objects, such as Pxx_ROWID_NEXT.

    And two buttons: GET_PREVIOUS_ROWID and GET_NEXT_ROWID

    (if you do not use rowid as the primary key, another name will be generated).

  • View a session variable in the jspx page.

    Hi, I followed the code to get the session variable in my AMImpl.
            ADFContext afc =
                (ADFContext)ADFContext.getCurrent().getSessionScope().put("desc", vor.getAttribute("Description"));
    Strinf desc = (String)ADFContext.getCurrent().getSessionScope().get("desc")
    I need to show the desc in my Jspx Page

    Hello

    as you do this:

    1. create a bean managed within the scope of the request
    2. create a pair of methods setter/getter for a property (variable) "desc".
    3. provide the Get accessor as

    return (String) ADFContext.getCurrent () .getSessionScope () .get ("desc")

    4. Optionally, you can use the Set accessor to change the session attribute value
    5. in the page using #{managedBeanName.desc}

  • Create Unique Session Variable based on the login page

    Hello:

    I'm building a dynamic website with Dreamweaver CS5 with Coldfusion 9.

    My question is how can I set a session variable to read a certain value. It is currently when my clients go to the login page they enter their username and password. I was able to create a session variable that contains the user name as value. So in all their pages read Welcome website "all that was their connection username. Now, I want to get the session variable to read the same table but the different FullName field. This way, that the web pages will say Welcome "FullName (based on their login user name)" I tell myself that I have to configure a query parameter, but after trying and failing for four hours to produce a successful result, I resorted to post my problem here. I appreciate the help and advice.

    My information:

    DataSource = Table 'Access' = 'Logininfo' (current) land (for the session variable) = 'User_name' (desired) field (for the session variable) = "full name".

    Currently using (server behaviors: Variable de Session) MM_Username on each relevant page for the user.

    My sign in page code is as follows:

    I'm sure it is something simple and will show my status as a rookie for the asking, but thanks for your help!

    A session variable is also the best route to go? I'll use this to query databases to display and allow them to change contact information, also show their invoices and request services.

    I don't know CF so forgive me, but you can create a session for fullname variable or use a query on your pages to filter the data WHERE username = user session variable. Looking at your code, it looks like you can add a session to the full name variable here:

  • passing parameters between pages

    Hello

    I have 2 custom pages, navigate from one page to another. I want to perform certain conditions on the other page-based features. For this I need to pass Boolean parameters between pages, but don't know how.

    I checked the putsession, putparameter, but somehow, they don't work.

    Thank you

    You can use pageContext.putTransactionTransientValue () and pageContext.getTransactionTransientValue () to pass values between pages.

  • Impossible to filter a recordset using a session variable

    I have a voluntary application page, then when volunteers press < Submit > their info is stored in a MySQl db table and a session variable is created containing the primary key of the record in the table, control is passed to a page of 'success' The success page accesses the session variable (I proved this by displaying the session on the success page variable) so my next step was to create a recordset in the success with a filter page using the session variable to select the appropriate line in the table, allowing me to view the volunteer to the info They argued.

    I created a page to pass the test that displays the session variable and a field of the volunteer info. When I test this I can't see the session variable is displayed, but the corresponding volunteer info of the recordset field is not displayed.

    The volunteer application page is here www.hollisterairshow.com/volunteerapp.php and the successpage is here www.hollisterairshow.com/thanksvol.php

    The code that creates the session variable in the voluntary application page is displayed below

    $_SESSION ['volunteer_id'] = mysql_insert_id();

    The code to display the session variable in the success page is shown below

    <? PHP echo $_SESSION ['volunteer_id'];? >

    The code to display the volunteer info is shown below

    Thank you < h1 > <? PHP echo $row_rsVolunteerApp ["FirstName"];? >! < / h1 >

    The recordset definition is shown below

    rsVolunteerApp.jpg

    The result of the test success page is shown below, as you can see the name of the volunteers is not displayed immediately after the "Thank you" message, but the session variable containing the correct primary key (41) is displayed correctly.

    Someone has an idea what I am doing wrong?

    Thank you

    Tony

    Where did you put session_start()? It should be before the variable is accessible. This is obviously before the line that displays the value in your page, but that's before the SQL query is generated?

    Also, have you checked in phpMyAdmin to see if volunteernumber 41A all values in the database?
