path presents itself in pdf format

I created six paths around a hexagon to place text around the edges of the hexagon.

When I write the text, paths disappear as expected.

However, when I save the document as a pdf and send it, one of the paths (just one) reappears in the text like a continuous line and makes the messy final product.

On my screen, however, the path does not appear.

I don't know how to remove it from the final document, because it is not visible on my screen of Illustrator.

Thanks in advance for the help.

Look at the menu layers. Is there an additional path that you were unaware of? If so, remove it. If you don't know who he is, hide/show the suspects. If you can't find it, include a larger group of layers in your screenshot.

  • Remove file path when converting to PDF format?

    Is there a setting somewhere that I can change so that when I convert a TXT or HTML file to PDF path does not appear on the bottom of each PDF page? Currently the conversion I get something along these lines of file:///F|/Folder/254126.txt[06-Aug-11 20:34:02] on the bottom in a font smaller than the rest of the page.

    Is it possible to disable this or is just something I have to live with?

    I use Adobe Acrobat X Pro.

    Parameters for the conversion of the HTML and text pages are not in the preferences panel, they are buried in the web capture widget:

    Open the tool pane > Pages > more Insert Options > create PDF from Web Page.

    Click on "settings".

    Uncheck "headers to Place... ", click OK and then cancel to close the capture dialog box.

  • Text on a path not to export in PDF format

    This announcement, I'm just in case there is an easy solution, but I suspect that the architecture of a particular CS4 file is damaged in a weird way that only affects exporters text on a path in PDF format.

    Most of the examples of text on a path in this document will not export to PDF, and I have a suspicion that the problem may occur only after a certain number of page - but that is not confirmed. Tried anything that I don't gets me the text in an exported PDF, and that includes almost all the possible combinations of the export settings by changing the layers, masking layers, restoration OSX and reloading CS4.

    One thing can work: as a test, when I moved a page to a new document, text on a traced is exportable. I didn't have no more in that direction immediately, in the case where there is a difficulty that is easier than moving 813 pages at once, which crashes CS4 when I tried it.

    Any suggestions?

    Under the banner of 'better late than never', this bug is now fixed in the 6.0.4 update.

  • Column width set to 0 when printing to PDF format

    Oracle Application Express Version: 4.2.0.00.27

    Apex listener Version: 2.0

    We have a classic report with 20 columns. Out of them, few are conditional.

    We use attributes of the print to print the report in PDF format. The problem with the PDF and printed, it keeps the column width of all the columns in the PDF file, even if they are hidden. We put the column width for all columns of 20 in the print attributes section.

    Can we set the column width to 0 in the PDF output for columns that have hidden due to the State?

    HI - so what you are trying to accomplish? The conditional columns are not included in the PDF file. And the column width for the PDF file is set as a percentage of the available space. So I guess that what you need is for the remaining columns, i.e. those who are included, to fill the available space, but is not because even if the conditional columns are not displayed, they still use place. Unfortunately, there is currently no way to conditionally set the column width, or update the width of the columns according to the conditions. You can try your own custom report layout, or use the APIs of printing for export and under certain conditions using different presentations.

    I'll take a good score to see if we can improve the logic using the layouts of integrated report to be a little smarter on the use of space when the columns are excluded under certain conditions.

    Kind regards

  • Looking for a way to add instructions in PDF format

    Our company has a number of legal agreements that we put in PDF format.

    Ideally what we want is to be able to do is:

    (a) being able to fill out a PDF file online with the legal agreement details (dates, names of companies, etc.)

    (b) have non-printing on the PDF instructions that help people fill out the forms. When individuals to print the PDF, the instructions would disappear and the document would itself reformat so that the space occupied by the instructions would be used by the printed text of the document.

    Reformatting is the kicker.    I can easily add buttons that have the value "unprintable" and insert instructions in those, but when the document is printed, there isn't that an empty space where the instructions are... I need instruction space collapse, so that the content of the document is displayed in the same space.

    Any ideas on how to do this?   Is there an Adobe Acrobat product that can help you with this?   (InDesign, FrameMaker, etc.)

    Thanks for any ideas you may have.

    PS I know javascript, then, if there is a solution of coding out there, I'm open to that as well.

    A dynamic XFA form created with LiveCycle Designer can be implemented to behave this way. For more information, you can ask in the LiveCycle Designer forum: LiveCycle Designer

    A problem will be the part online. None of the browsers have built-in support for dynamic PDF XFA forms, so that the user will have to download the PDF and open it directly in a desktop (Win/Mac) Adobe Reader/Acrobat version.

    Adobe Reader does not install a pdf printer. The full version of Adobe Acrobat'd.

    Word has its own pdf creator. It is found under file > export.

  • convert the contents of the site in pdf format

    Sorry disturbs you all, I see sometimes when am looking online, that some site just open in as a pdf format so you can download all the content of the site at a time. just like a website grabber. This site clearcydia.com and others contain some post I need and I can't go through them both. How can I get a pdf page and read more later without having to copy and past.

    Laughing out loud

    Adobe Acrobat Reader views pdf files only. What you need, it's something that can convert web pages into pdf files. Acrobat Reader is not the right tool. The only tool I know that Adobe offers is, as I mentioned earlier, Adobe Acrobat.

    Remember that same Acrobat may or may not work as expected. This really depends on the site itself and how it is set up. Some work sites, others do not. Especially sites that offer dynamic content.

    You can give it a shot by installing the fully functional trial of Adobe Acrobat (good for 30 days) from here: Adobe Document Cloud | Adobe Acrobat DC

  • Maintain the active icons after registration in PDF format

    Hello

    I work in a technical-sales environment that is to use a good many PowerPoint presentations with sheets embedded and spreadsheets. Several members of the team tried to save their presentations as a PDF, but doing so disabled icons they would click to access the embedded documents.

    As far as I know the only way to access files embedded in a PDF document is to attach to the PDF itself after registration and all hyperlinks can be retained, active icons cannot. I wanted to check if this is correct or if there is another solution I've not been able to find online that I can share with them to save a few extra steps in their projects.

    Thank you!

    I went ahead and got on the chat to see and according to them, you must set the attachment via the PDF links. So I guess that means that we do, which is going back in and put new attachments on the icons of the disabled, is really the only way to do it right now. If someone else comes across this post and understands what I'm doing and knows a way that did not include the Help Center, feel free to post.

    Thank you!

  • Why make circles rotates 45 degrees in the slides not listed is not in PDF format?

    I use Acrobat Professional XI and 2013 of PowerPoint in Windows 8.

    I have two PowerPoint slides. A slide is a filled circle. Another slide has an another full cirlce that is rotated 45 degrees. When I convert the PowerPoint presentation with the two slides in PDF format, the circle that is rotated 45 degrees does not appear in the PDF. This is true for all circles in rotation by a factor of 45 degrees with the exception of the circles that are factors of 90 degrees.

    Does anyone else have the same experience? Is this a bug in Acrobat?

    It may very well be because when you perform a save as > PDF, it works. I introduce this behavior of the featurerequest/bug report form.

  • How to filter Documents attached in PDF format?

    Hello people,

    I wonder if we can restrict some documents attached to a PDF file or not. For example, I can add only Microsoft Word documents to PDF format and ignore the reset of all other documents. Please let me know how can I generate this type of functionality.

    Thanks in advance

    Rajesh

    Hi Renon,

    If you use a button for the user to add an attachment, then you can use JavaScript code like this in the event click;

    var attachmentName = "SupportDocument."

    var validTypes = 'doc, docx, xls, xlsx.

    var PDF = event.target;

    If (pdf.importDataObject (attachmentName))

    {

    attachment var = pdf.getDataObject (attachmentName);

    var attachment.path.replace = filetype (/(.*)-.) () [a-zA-Z] +) $/, « $2')

    If (validTypes.split(',').indexOf (filetype) = - 1).

    {

    pdf.removeDataObject (attachmentName);

    App.Alert ("' invalid file type");

    }

    }

    You should always check when they argue that they have not added an attachment via the builtin Adobe attachment Panel.  Something like;

    var PDF = event.target;

    If (pdf.dataObjects! == null)

    {

    for (var i = 0; i)< pdf.dataobjects.length;="">

    {

    If (pdf.dataObjects [i] .name = pdf.dataObjects [i] .path)

    {

    App.Alert ("you have an invalid attachment");

    break;

    }

    }

    }

    It is based on the property name is set to the path using the attachment Panel or the argument of the function importDataObject if using the code.  You can keep you own attachments via the script record has added that this behavior can be changed by Adobe in a future release.

    I don't want to make it sound like I know what Adobe can do, just that the name property is used to be on without a title when you use the attachment pane.

    PNG should work fine (even if it is not designed as a print size). If is not the image in question format (thought jpeg does not support transparency in the image itself), jut the fact that there is a form any transparency on the page.

  • A link to attachments in pdf format

    Hello

    I'm working with Acrobat X Pro, Windows XP.

    I have an illustration in a .pdf document, which is the basic version of an attachment (which is itself a .pdf file).

    How to create a link on the illustration which opens the attachment to my pdf and not my computer/site Web/whatever.

    Is this possible?

    Create the link, select as its action "go to a page view".

    You will be presented with a floating window and a button "define the link." Now

    Open the attachment and then tap go to where you want to link to

    This button.

    The link will point to the attached file.

    Be aware that this only works with PDF files, however. You cannot bind to a

    files not PDF.
