  Hello

  Can someone please help me to reset my BIOS admin password.  I know it's stupid, but when I got my laptop 5 years ago for some silly reason, I thought it was a good idea to set an admin password.   5 years later, I need to change my setting of virtualization in the BIOS and surprise!  I'm stuck with absolutely no idea what password I used.

  The "System off" code I get is: 67600648.

  Any help will be greatly appreciated.  My eternal thanks in advance to anyone who takes the time to read my post and use a part of his personal time to help me solve my problem.  I am really grateful for that.

  Product name: HP G71-333NR laptop

  Error message: "enter password administrator or power on password"

  Changes to the system that caused the problem to occur:

  Laptop was stolen from the car two weeks before Christmas, but was recovered by the police and returned to me a month later.  During playback to laptop, the battery was dead and the block of power supply/cord & mouse has not been returned with the laptop.  I had a dell PSU power supply/cord that adapt and used to turn on the computer.   A black screen with a blue box asking to 'Password administrator or power on password'.   After 4-5 attempts to enter the password has been set for windows, the disabled system itself.   I have to remove the battery and connect the power cord to reset the computer that keeps asking to 'Password administrator or power on password'.   I don't want to restore or reset the computer to lose all my personal data stored before being stolen.   Anyway to replace it or is it a "generic password" to use as a way to bypass this screen so that it can operate and return to the login screen of Windows?   I REALLY NEED HELP ON THIS!

  Hi, I have a HP G72 laptop, while playing in the BIOS, I put the Admin password and turn on the password.

  I do not know the password but it would disable instead so I don't have to enter it every time I turn it on.

  I entered the wrong code 3 volumes to get the system to disable the code where it is the only way to disable them.

  A HP technician could send me the procedure to reset my printer HP Envy 5660 Embedded Server Admin password? I have generator password with a password manager and looks like it was too complicated for the embedded server! Did not work thereafter. I think that there are characters who does not have the server's firmware, but I haven't checked!

  I see that you need to reset the EWS password for your printer HP ENVY 5660. I would be glad to help and don't forget to come back to this thread and check "Accept as Solution" if I helped successfully will solve you the problem.   I can understand the frustration you are experiencing. If you do not know the password, we will have to reset the printer to factory settings it to remove it. This will remove all preferences and settings of the printer. Once you reset the printer, you will need to reconfigure the wireless to the printer again.

  I can send you this information in a private message. In the forum next to your handle name simply click on the envelope to see.

  When you set a password on the built-in Web server, choose a password that you will remember.

  TIP: Enter a password for the administrator account. When a password is set, the name of the administrator (Admin) and the password are required to view or change the EWS Networking. To disable the password, leave the password empty settings.

  NOTE: This password has nothing to do with the security of the network.

• Admin password reset

  Let me first say I "did not forget" my admin password.  My system is corrupt and won't accept my password.  Here is the error message I get:

  THE USER DIDN'T LOGIN USER FILE COULD NOT BE LOADED

  I have only one user account on my HP laptop and I did not create the reset or recovery disk.  I can't express how frustrated I am.  I can't believe that a system would be designed like that.  In any case, does anyone know how to reset the password without having to download the software $30?   Thanks for listening me wind :)

  I recently received a note of advice on tune on creating a password reset disk.

  This advice works perfectly on my desktop HPE-480uk running Windows 7, but doesn't seem to work on my computer laptop 15-e092ea Pavilion that has just been improved Windows 8.1 for Windows 10.

  Creating a password reset disk function is not in user accounts. It is not necessary with Windows 10 or are different instructions?

  The only way that it "protects" you (in terms of MS...) is that, if your forget the password, you can log into your account of MS from another PC and reset  Who is right for which you do not have a password reset disk.

  I left using this method of connection because I didn't like my email address is displayed on the login screen for all to see.  It's OK on my desk at home, but it was NOT OK on my laptop when I traveled with it.  So, I switched to using a local account.
