PCI VEN_8086 device
Hi all
I have a HP Envy 17 of DV (j073ca) - I had a hard drive failure C: (still on the warranty but not the case for repair in time for my immediate work of the related requirements). After a clean install of 64 bit Win 8.1, I'm now re-installing drivers, but I still have an unknown device.
The alphanumeric string in the event of device tab is:
Device PCI VEN_8086 & DEV_8C3A & SUBSYS_1966103C & REV_04\3 & 11583659 & 0 & B0
I found other strings relative to that on the HP support site - seems to be associated with bluetooth.
I currently have a generic functional Bluetooth driver installed: ID USB\VID_8087 & PID_07DA\5 & 1A63D808 & 0 & 5 installed.
Hello
The hardware id is for the Intel Management Engine Interface - the driver is on the following link.
http://ftp.HP.com/pub/SoftPaq/sp63001-63500/sp63410.exe
Kind regards

My last suggestion is to try the AMT driver that is bound. But the details of the device are not to tell me that it is that this driver.
You all have installed driver chipset first, I suppose, and who has not installed the driver?

Hello
It is very good that you posted the vendor and device ID because you can search with these codes here:
http://www.PCIDatabase.comThe device seems to be the Intel Management Engine Interface
So in your case I would try installing the chipset driver. You can download it from the Web from Toshiba website!

Hi, @simon_myst
HP has major problems with the pages of support at the moment and a lot of drivers are missing.
Use the Serial Port directly from Intel driver...

Hi, @eriann06 :
You need these drivers...
First install the smbus controller driver and restart.
This package contains the driver and Intel Chipset Installation Utility for the notebook models and operating systems. This utility allows the operating system to show the correct name for the Intel hardware that is installed in the Microsoft Windows Device Manager.
File name: sp56670.exe
Then install it...
This package provides the driver Intel Management Engine Interface (MEI) for the notebook models and operating systems. The Intel Management Engine Interface allows communication between the host operating system and the Intel Management Engine firmware.
File name: sp56675.exe
If you need all the other software/drivers for your PC, you can use the drivers W7 HP 2000 t - 2A 00 on your model, except the BIOS and firmware files.

MDT PCI VEN_8086 & DEV_153B & SUBSYS_1993103C & REV_04 driver error
We have a new batch of laptop computers (HP Probook 650 G1) who pilots imported in MDT. As soon as the laptop is started and I launch Windows Deployment Services I get the following error:
A connection to the deployment share (\\Server\DeploymentShare$) could not be established. The following network device had not installed a driver PCI VEN_8086 & DEV_153B & SUBSYS_1993103C & REV_04
I found a page with some details:
However when I go to the Microsoft Update Catalog I can't find the missing driver (I can't find he did a quick search on google).
Could someone tell me please in the right direction? (Of course), I'm working to a very tight deadline, and by the looks of it, the images won't be made anytime soon.
Thank you

If none of these things were done, then probably a hardware failure. There is a modem installed according to the specification page: http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c00874655
If that is not used, then try to delete it. Maybe just lucky enough that's the problem. Most of the other elements are integrated on the motherboard
