  Hello

  I get the message "an error has occurred while printing" when I try to print to PDF from my Firefox browser.  When I try to browsers Chrome or Microsoft Edge, nothing happen period.

  I got this error since the update to Windows 10 in Windows 7.  All my browsers and Acrobat XI are up-to-date.  Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can fix this?  Thank you

  I uninstalled Acrobat XI and reinstalled and it works fine now.

  The file name seems to have two spaces between the functional and string req:

  Functional req GOCOR

  and you refer to it with a white

  Functional req GOCOR

  It is best to name the files without the spaces and use underscore instead.

I tried clicking on the button in the application manager Adobe who installs the program again and gives a key to launch the installation program. But the next time Adobe Application Manager starts, it said: Acrobat Pro XI is not installed, when it was installed (and working).   I tried the suggestion Greg_M #1 first - without success. Then tried the suggestion #2 of Arpit - also without success. However, I discovered that the uninstall program running in 'Applications-> Utilities-> Adobe Installers folder' had not removed the file Acrobat Pro XI (he was still in his file in the Applications). Finally, what worked manages the uninstall program that was in the folder ACROBAT PRO (NOT the utililites folder). When I ran the uninstaller program, I had also ticked the box in preferences to delete (not sure if that matters).

  All is well now. When I run Adobe Application Manager it says correctly that Acrobat XI is "installed".

  Adobe change Acrobat a lot between releases. Make sure you follow instructions to the same version you have.

  If this looks OK, let us know the exact version you have (help > about Acrobat Pro).

How can I get that back? I often secret several worksheets in PDF format and it is tedious to print them one at a time and then combine. I used to be able to select all the worksheets I wanted and combine them in one go.

  Acrobat XI is not compatible with Office 2016 for the moment. Please wait for future updates.

  So, I have an image as a .psd in my spread which is behind a block of text and a low opacity to ensure readability. However, when I export to PDF, it does not appear in the final file. Any ideas? Thanks in advance for any help.

  EDIT: now I found a work around using a PNG exported from Photoshop instead of the original file. Would be really nice to be able to use the PSD so if changes are to be made to the image, it can be easily updated.

  HM, then you must make a tough decision, your only choice to be on the "safe" side

  Export to PDF v1.3 (Compatibility Acrobat 4 (PDF 1.3) where you check "simulate overprinting" in the fourth tab of the settings of export PDF.

  This workflow is not recommended for PDF files you want to print:

  Just for the screen display!

  Then all the 'overlay' and 'transparency' is cooked in the PDF file so to speak.

  Hi Joanne,

  If you are unable to display the toolbar by choosing View > show/hide > elements elements toolbar, please send along a screenshot of what you see. (And just double check that you open your PDF files in Acrobat and not player - that is a mistake that I make here and there).

  You need to upgrade AA XI to work with the AA 2013. You must also open the OFFICE tools and activate the Add-ons. There is no tool in some OFFICE applications. You can view the list in the folder of PDF Maker in Acrobat.

  What is "Adobe XI" - Reader or Acrobat?

  But, "Save as Adobe PDF" is a function of Word, independent of this Adobe software, you have installed.

  If you're running Windows (which we don't know), you can try to use this tool first remove all traces of your computer:

  Then you can download the complete player offline installer from

  After downloading, restart your computer and run the Setup program before anything else.

  By default, Acrobat DC IOS shows the consulted files recently.  You need to switch to another file location (for example, Local, Document cloud creative) to delete, rename, move or duplicate files.

  You can switch to the Local, if you do not want the files and folders that are stored locally on your iPad.
