PDF file opens in Word 2007

PDF file keeps trying to open it in Word 2007, but the files cannot be read.  I reinstalled Adobe Reader X, but still having the same problem.  Help!

I thought about it.  Right-click on the name of the pdf file.  Go to properties.  Open the file with - click on modify.  Choose the adobe reader software.  Click OK.  This will remain the default, except change.  Thanks to the auto.
