  Just updated to macOs Sierra. At the opening of my contacts app, discovered about 80% of my contacts are missing. IPhone activated and iCloud.com and they are still there.

  Any tips?

  I have the same problem, but in my case, all contacts are missing. It also means that Messages shows numbers instead of names of contact.

  I tried restarting the computer, I tried to close the session and then back in to iCloud, I tried to uncheck Contacts in iCloud settings force it to download my data, but none have worked.

  If a contact changes on iCloud.com, it downloaded on my computer. But I also use it as a solution, for the moment. I tried to create a folder and a fall contacts here, but that updates only the folder on the computer, it does not download contact information.

  I will continue to try, let me know if you guys find something.

  BTW, in other respects, Sierra looks great so far! Still happy that I have improved!

• iPhone not syncing Contacts with Outlook 2010 on Windows PC

  For years, I have synced my contacts (and calendar) with Outlook 2010 Professional on my PC with Windows 7 Home Premium via the USB port.  (I don't want to use iCloud - I want to sync with the PC).

  Suddenly, all my contacts on my iPhone 5 have disappeared.  I think that they were deleted when I synced my phone today.  They are always in Outlook on my PC.  My phone favorites are still on my phone, but they are only numbers with no name.

  I tried to synchronize.  I tried to reset sync history.  I tried a hard reboot on my phone.  I made these several times in different order.  No dice.

  My Calendars always sync, but no contact.  This is not good.

  The only change that was made was recently an update of iOS on my iPhone last night to version 9.3.4.

  Because I believe that all my contacts are on my phone yesterday and now they are gone today after the iOS and/or sync, I strongly suspect not syncing contacts is somehow related to the update of iOS.

  Everyone knows this?  Does anyone have any suggestions?  Thank you much in advance.

  I'm sorry to hear that you are away from your contacts after update your iPhone to iOS 9.3.4.  Since you do not use iCloud and instead to synchronize your PC with iTunes, you did a backup of your iPhone before updating?  If so, you can restore your iPhone using iTunes:

  Restore your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch from a backup

  If you do not have a recent backup of the data on your iPhone, you can try to resynchronize your Outlook data on your iPhone.  The resources below provides troubleshooting for this process steps.

• People app; Cannot import contacts

  Hello. I'm not having any luck import my contacts in the people application :-(. I have a lot of contacts in Outlook, and this account (my main account from Microsoft) appears under 'accounts' in the settings. When I opened this account however, it shows that E-mail as content to synchronize. I created an outlook.com account and added that the people app, and when I check the settings for that one, it shows emails, contacts and calendar as "content to synchronize. I've also added my Google gmail account and my Skype account, but the contacts of those who do not appear either. Under 'options' Google, Outlook and Skype are checked in 'display only those contacts '. On the homescreen in the lower right corner, it says that I'm connected to 2 accounts outlook, Skype, and Google. I tried to turn it back on the shelf, the people app and outlook without result. Any ideas?

  I have a nextel 8350, office outlook 07 and desktop version 6.0.1.18 of the software.  Recently, I changed my job and put my new information in my phone and now I work at home so I've never needed before.  my email is sending and reception without problem, my calendar is synchronize perfectly but my contacts will not sync. the synchronization process seems to work by the software (it goes through the motions) but when I look in outlook, no contacts

  Notes and contacts on the MacBook Air not synchronize with the iPhone 5 or iPad via iCloud.  All are running software update.  Any suggestion would be appreciated.

  If you have upgraded to a mobile device from Apple iOS 9 or a later version and then synchronize the Notes database to iCloud, then you won't be able to synchronize the Notes on a Mac with the same iCloud account until it is upgraded to OS X 10.11 or later version.

  Only the notes in the iCloud category will synchronize with iCloud. If you have any comments on my Mac, or synchronized with another network service, that they don't synchronize.

  If note that synchronization are not, please open the iCloud pane in system preferences. Make sure that you are connected to iCloud with the good Apple ID and the Notes selected. Uncheck and check again.

  If notes still don't sync, ask for additional instructions.

  Hi, I'm a user for Lenovo A6000 anymore and I've encountered a problem after installing the update of lollipop published today in my country. The whatsapp is unable to detect contacts that are available in my contacts, phone, email such as hotmail or google account.

  For the past two days as my apps, bing, news, finance, sport etc., content is not getting synced when I connect to the internet. Even if I open an app, it it will automatically close down and shows me the splash screen. This has happened to me even earlier and asked me to re - install windows. Even tried using the troubleshooter of app, clear memory cache store windows and reset, but it did not work for me.   With the help of MAC (OS X El Capitan, v 10.11.12), cards in my Contacts get screwed up.) Use us iCloud and Contacts started maintaining different cards on my Mac and on iCloud - but there is no way to know what contacts does. I merged contacts yesterday and had to do it again today. E problem is that when displaying Contacts, I am presented with multiple addresses - I do not know what is current, because the old data that was written more turned up.   Hello, I have contacts on osx 10.9.5 v8.0 on my macbook air.  I have ios 9.2 on my iphone 6.  I have two contacts to sync to icloud (at least I think, I have all the correct setting to do).  When I add a contact on my imac, it goes to my iphone in seconds (and to icloud I can confirm through my browser) that works very well.  When I work the other way it works at all.  If I add a contact on my iphone, it's not going anywhere.  Accordingly, I have about 30 contacts on the iphone that I have on the imac.  Suggestions, how can I fix?  Thank you!

  I created a second e-mail on my Storm which is a gmail account.  When I put in place, it synced my contacts and added to g-mail account (which I didn't).  Now, I can't sync my list of contacts with my Outlook through Desktop Manager.  I tried to remove the g-mail account, but it still wouldn't work with Outlook.  I added the g-mail account, but now, it will not synchronize with this account either.  When I try to configure for wireless synchronization, it is said that it is "not available" and won't let me change this option.  Help!  How to return to the synchronization with Outlook.

  Hello and welcome. In the settings of the e-mail from the Office Manager, under synchronization options, you will find the list of e-mail accounts to synchronize with. Make sure that it is set to outlook contacts. Maybe that's the problem.

• Creative cloud gray app & not sync!

  Icon creative cloud on the car at the top of the page is grayed out and shows the spinning wheel when I try to open. IM using the macbook pro and using synchronized with creative cloud - fonts fonts don't sync and I guess that's because the CC app is down. I tried to restart, leave the application and remove the application - none of which work (I can click on the parameters gear wheel in the right corner, but it does not).

  Desperately need help because I have deadlines that use the fonts im synchronization attempt!

• Treo 650, not sync contacts with Outlook 2007 Vista machine

  Hi, I have a Treo 650 with happiness synchronization with my old XP Pro machine. When the computer crashed, I bought a Vista Home Premium 32-bit with Outlook 2007 on it. I installed Outlook 2007 duct after installing Palm Desktop 6.2. I'm not configured as an administrator for the security account. When I sync it no errors appear and sync is successful and all my photos on the phone and sd card and all prc files are backed up. But there is no contact in Outlook copied from my old phone. Outlook 2007, basically intercepts not anything from the phone. Even the Palm desktop does not save the phone numbers and addresses there synchronize photos from my phone. So, how can I get all my phone numbers and e-mail addresses in Outlook. Thanks for your ideas.

  Several things:

  1. the version of Palm Desktop 6.2.2 has integrated Outlook 2007 lines.  DO NOT install the update for Outlook 2007!   I've seen several threads lately where users have installed the update and things scrambled.

  2 palm Desktop to install properly if you have Admin rights!    It has always been recommended to grant temporary administrator rights when installing, perform a HotSync, then remove the rights.  I find it strange that you managed to get anything to transfer!

  3 did you say Palm Desktop to synchronize with Outlook?   Look here: Palm/programs/PIM Start Button / All Conduit Sync / syncing with Outlook.

  If #3 doesn't help, I everything again with a "clean uninstall" and start over.
