Permanently deleted emails?

As I was using Thunderbird, my Inbox of the list began to scroll as each email has been deleted in turn. I left as soon as possible and tried to retrieve the mail from the trash. I was able to move e-mails from the Inbox, but the most recent emails have been deleted permanently. I connect to Gmail via IMAP. When I checked it, permanently deleted messages were gone there too. I'm not the best typist and may have struck a strange combination of control-key, but it's a * really * bad result. I thought I had some sort of automatic backup storing messages locally in Thunderbird as well as in Gmail. The impression that my emails have been permanently deleted on my computer, and then that was referred to Gmail. But I did not remove one of those emails myself and certainly does not bypass it Recycle Bin (if that's even possible).
Of course I can just done something brain-dead, but maybe this will give other people a heads up?

If you press shift + delete, the message is deleted without collar for thrash before, maybe, you press this combination

  • How to permanently delete emails from my computer?

When we remove the trash on Thunderbird emails, are they removed and replaced (such as Secure Empty Trash on a Mac), or are they still recoverable from somewhere on the computer? If the latter, how can you completely delete and overwrite the deleted emails from the Thunderbird trash folder?

    Thank you

    Beachwalk43

Simple: compact your trash folders after deleting.

You might close Thunderbird, ferret on his profile and remove garbage files, and of course you are free to use all of the 3rd party utilities for scrubbing erased files.

    Hello

    · You use Internet explorer to connect to hotmail?

If so, check the setting full auto. AutoComplete stores passwords and other information that you type into web form fields. When you turn on AutoComplete, Internet Explorer automatically fills the fields that strikes frequently in web forms, such as your name and address.

    Open Internet Explorer

    a. click Tools and then click Internet Options.

    b. click on the content tab.

    c. under AutoComplete and then click settings.

    d. Select or clear the bar addresses, forms, usernames and passwords on forms and ask me before saving passwords check boxes.

    e. click OK, and then click OK again.

  • I clicked permanently delete all emails in a folder, I can get them back?

I have Windows XP, using Outlook Express, and I accidently deleted all the emails to the breast of one of my files, and then click permanently delete also.  Yes, I was tired and probably should wait until later, but here I am. lesson learned.

Can I get back all those emails (the record) even though I have them permanently removed?

    :(

    Thank you

If it was very recent, one of these tools should do. If you have compacted because you deleted, only DBXpress run in extract from disk mode has a chance.

You can think of to save your messages in the future.

This freeware tool backs up everything on OE in seconds. Ignore what is written in red. Which refers to another program.

  • Why not junk detector permanently delete suspicious mail rather than send it to the junk e-mail folder? SOLVED caused by McAfee spam controls

Recently, from a month ago or so, when I open Thunderbird and it connects to my ISP to download new e-mail messages, e-mails that the Junk detector "think" might be spam, these emails are deleted immediately permanently instead of being moved to my Junk folder, as I've mentioned Thunderbird in all options on how to manage junk e-mail. I know that there have been e-mails that were sent to me for the first time by a new friend or colleague whom I have not yet put in my contacts folder. In fact, I know an e-mail in particular when someone sent me his email address in the email that comes to be obtained permanently deleted. So if anyone knows what's happening here and what I can do to stop this behavior, I'd be very grateful all assistance. This time, to monitor the activity, I connect to my e-mail through my ISP account so I can examine what is in the Inbox ready to be downloaded in Thunderbird before you start Thunderbird. It is a nuisance, but is the only way I know for the moment to monitor all my incoming mail. Thank you!

Sorry for the delay in the publication... Disable McAfee spam controls solve my problem. All incoming messages marked as spam is successfully sent to my junk e-mail folder.

    Thanks for your help!

  • Deleted emails reappear

    Hello

using an iPad 2 with a pop3 account, I noticed that emails deleted from the Recycle Bin will appear again in the trash folder and sometimes even in the Inbox folder. Delete mails several times doesn't help. Why not permanently delete the emails? Are my emails on an apple Server stored after their download from my provider? I did not open a cloud apple account because my privacy is very important and I was not the cloud.

Moreover, I can't just post this question with the ipad2, because I countries: ' t read the characters, so I now use a windows Notepad.

You can change the font size in settings > display and brightness > text size.

No, your emails are not stored in some secret Apple cloud. But they will remain on your pop server until you delete them.

iOS Mail has had problems with the pop Protocol since iOS 9.0 was released. I switched to AltaMail, which is an excellent and comprehensive email application.

  • BlackBerry Q5 permanently delete messages from Pocket and the server

I have a smartphone BlackBerry Q5 for work.  I want to know how it is possible to remove messages from your handheld, so that they may never be seen again.  I have removed from my Inbox on my PC at work, deleted my box deleted on my PC at work and then purged my deleted emails while they are supposed to be deleted on the server forever.  Yet, if I do a search on my handheld for the said emails, although nothing comes originally, if I click on the remote at the bottom of the page search opition, mails very I want permanently deleted all the records now appear and even when I enter them and click on delete, they're not going anywhere.

I absolutely need their party for good if nobody knows what can be done?  In addition, e-mails can be recalled all have a red no signs of entry next to them and I don't know what that means.  Any help to solve this problem will be greatly appreciated.

And tells me ^^ again once there is a mail server problem, not a matter of BlackBerry.

The Q5 and all models of BlackBerry10 OS do not store or save send ON the device, they synchronize the email from the server. So if remove you account and the account again on the installation media, and the same e-mail synchronized to your handheld... where do you think they are synchronization from?

    Your server.

  • Windows Live Mail - deleting email address but want to keep his e-mails in a new email address

I change over my old email addresses (3 of them - one for friends, business, work) for 3 new, different e-mail address because I changed internet service providers.

I exported e-mails from old e-mail addresses to save to an external drive.

What I want to do is to import them into my new email addresses in the new Inbox folders where I store the correspondence.  Then it would be emails to or from an older email address, different enter one of my new folders of files of addresses in the Inbox where I separate topics/types of e-mail by e-mail.

I tested it and it seems to work.  I imported a file, who appeared in 'Storage files' as a ' imported '.  Then I selected all the emails in a specific folder (example: invoices) and moved them to a new folder called (different) email inbox "bills".  They transferred and I can access and read emails - the old and the new, and it doesn't seem to matter that the old emails have been associated with a different email address.

I just want to be sure I'm doing the right thing, or if it would have the unintended consequence of do - as I play until the file structure, etc., or do something that will cause WLM malfunction later.

Worse comes to worse, I e-mail stored on a drive for expansion, but it would be easier to have the old and new e-mail consolidated on my current WLM.

I did the right thing, or is that a no-no?  Or is there a better way?

Thank you in advance for your help!

    Nancy

It seems to me that if you do everything absolutely right. The program does not care which account a message has been sent to or-it's just a message, so you can put it in any folder you like. The only word of caution would be to allow Windows Live Mail enough time for large numbers of newly imported or - moved message index, perhaps even in working offline at the same time to minimize interference from sync/send/receive operations.

A good reason to use storage folders rather than files under one account to store messages to archive, is that when you delete an account, all its files and their content is permanently deleted. If it is not easy, it is possible to accidentally delete an account.

  • can I delete email on mac accounts and retain their remaining icloud?

can I delete email on mac accounts and retain their remaining icloud?

I'm looking forward clean my OSX and I wondered if I delete accounts on mac, along withh records, etc., do I still have access to them in Icloud. (I don't know which way the sync works)

Unless the e-mail accounts are based icloud.  That is to say, they end in @icloud.com, then without removing the Mac not keep them in iCloud because they are not in first place.

You should always be able to access through their respective clients to Web Mail however.

If they are based iCloud.com, then Yes you can remove form Mac and they are accessible via http://icloud.com by logging into each account there.

  • permanently deleted photos are REALLY gone?

I accidentally deleted permanently 'iPhoto events' album of my iPhone > iCloud > Mac. I went from 8 000 to 2,000 photos. I've restored some of them of an old backup from time machine (March, 2013). My iCloud account clearly reflects the deletion. I was told that the hard drive data recovery options were futile, because data have been obliterated. Ditto for the Flash to the iPhone. I have renounced all forms of recovery of data a week ago, but now this question keeps nagging me: maybe I missed something? My precious photos are REALLY gone?

What do you think average them permanently deleted, do you mean you deleted and then removed again from the recently deleted album.

The iPhone path > iCloud > Mac doesn't mean anything to me, I'm afraid, but if the pictures have been synchronized on your Mac and you use time machine on the Mac, photos should be recoverable.
