Phishing filter

When I e-mail my neighbor, even when I use "response to"emails from her, my emails are reported upward as the phishing emails on his computer. "  She is using Windows Mail & Vista, I use Apple Mac.  This a recent problem, but we are not aware of updates that may have caused this.  Obviously, she doesn't want to get rid of the anti-phishing filter, so what is happening here?  Is it possible to change the filter settings?  Thank you.

Janet.

Hello

It may be better for her to leave and use the choice to allow reading your emails
and to report back to MS. The problem is that if you do not send other Phishing emails
Messaging service using the same probably do.

A yellow warning, she can choose "report this Site as safe. The red warning
She can choose to ' report is not a Phishing Site "which takes him to a feedback
Page.

It can enter his email webmail version and add your e-mail to authorized and
then in IE - Tools - Internet Options - Security - Trusted Sites. See also should report
This is for MS - see 2nd link here.

I don't think that there is no fix for this in Vista.  This review of marking FB as phishing has been reported recently by a number of people using WinMail in Vista.  I think turning off phishing filter out it, but you can't do that, depending on the sophistication and the practices of the user.

  • 2nd problem I have is Windows Vista, Windows Defender & MCAFEE.

My biggiest at this stage it is above mentioned. The problem I have is whenever windows is a updated and downloads of updates of their software and restart the computer, I lose access to MCAFEE. I can't access it using the icon on the desktop or the start menu. I get an error msg that bed the point mcshell.exe that this shortcut refers has been changed or moved, that this shortcut no longer works correctly. He then asks if I want to delete this shortcut, or not? I contacted MCAFEE to find someone at the tip to help solve the problem. I had a rep help me solve this problem, so I thought. It's a pain, because I have to redownload MCAFEE whenever this happens. MCAFEE has advised me to switch to their premium to $89.99 package so someone on their end can remotely check if the computer I'm using has virus. I said no. I can't afford it. Windows Defender will also result in a conflict with MCAFEE. I tried to disable Defender, but I guess I did not right. Help, please

Here's what I use and recommend:

Avast and Prevx proved extremely reliable and compatible with everything I threw at them.
Microsoft Security Essentials and Prevx have also proven very reliable and compatible.

Avast Home free - stop any shields is not necessary except away from Standard, Web and network is working.

    Prevx - Home - free

    Windows Firewall

Windows Defender (is not necessary if you use MSE)

    Protected IE - mode

IE 8 - SmartScreen filter WE (IE 7 phishing filter)

I also IE always start with asset if filter InPrivate IE 8.
(Sometimes you have to temporarily turn off with the little icon to the left of the + bottom right of IE)

Avast - stop home - free - all shields you do no need except leave Standard, Web and network running.
(Double-click the blue icon - details look OK. - upper left Shields - those that you do not cancel).

Or use Microsoft Security Essentials - free (Avast or MSE but not both)
    http://www.Microsoft.com/Security_Essentials/

Prevx works well alongside MSE or Avast

Prevx - Home - small, fast, exceptional CLOUD free protection, working with other security programs. It comes
a scan only, VERY EFFICIENT, if it finds something to come back here or use Google to see how to remove.

Also get Malwarebytes - free - use as scanner only. If you ever suspect malware, and that would be unusual with
Avast and Prevx running except a low occasional (not much), updated cookie and then run it as
a scanner. I have a lot of scanners and they never find anything of note that I started to use this configuration.

  • I try to install windows antivirus security plan.

Please help me to install the update to windows.

    Hello

If you need more please tell us your version of Windows and 32-bit or 64-bit.

You must uninstall all antivirus/security products you have on machine now. See the Web sites of their creator
for removal which is important tools because they leave remnants if just uninstalled. Download replacements
you select before you remove the existing ones and then install the new.

Here's what I use and recommend: (these are all the free versions).

For ALL those that you decide to use the download - SAVE - go where you put it - right click-RUN
Administrator - when finished - RESTART and do the same for the next.

Avast and Prevx proved extremely reliable and compatible with everything I threw at them.
Microsoft Security Essentials also proved very reliable and compatible. You want to MSE or Avast
and not both. Add Prevx either.
